Love Comes To Me
Chapter 609: Why Did You Give Me This

Eloise realised it was the driver who had brought him here and knelt down to enquire, "What brings you here? Does your daddy know?" "Yes, I know, I have a present for Mummy, but it's not in Solomon's hands right now, can Mummy go somewhere with Solomon?" With a look of anticipation on his face, Solomon looked at Eloise bashfully and couldn't wait to pull her along.

At these words, Eloise smiled warmly.

Reaching up to cut the tip of Solomon's high nose, she said dotingly, "Thanks Solomon, but it's work time and I can't leave." Solomon's brow furrowed gently, a little lost.

Seeking to think of something immediately, he unfurled his smile again.

"Then Solomon go in and wait, I'll be good and not give Mummy any trouble!"

Unable to bear the sight of the stars overlapping in his eyes, Eloise nodded in agreement and led Solomon inside the winery.

Once inside, they were met by the staff of the winery, all of whom looked at the children Eloise had brought back with curious expressions. "Wow, Miss Eloise, what a cute little kid, where are you from?"

"A friend's family." Eloise rubbed her nose, explaining in a rushed manner.

"Hello brother and sister ..."

Solomon wore a Sweety smile and greeted them graciously.

He has an aura of a young adult and his looks are so refined that it is easy for him to induce. It is easy to feel compassion for him.

Many girls gathered around and asked questions of Solomon.

Another squeeze of the face and a cuddle, loved it to bits.

Fortunately, Eloise spoke up just in time and the girls left reluctantly.

Solomon escaped from the group of women under his command and looked at Eloise somewhat helplessly.

A look of a woman who is a real pain in the ass.

Eloise smiled and rubbed his cheeks as she led him back to the office.

Once inside, Solomon was self-conscious enough to sit in a chair off to the side.

Pulling a workbook out of her small school bag, she scribbled and drew in a good manner.

The quiet look provoked a motherly smile from Eloise.

Time passes, and with the rustling of paper and pencil, it is soon time to leave work.

Eloise followed Solomon out of the château, as promised.

The car that brought Solomon over was still waiting outside and they got in it and the driver drove off.

Twenty minutes later, the car pulled into the palatial estate.

Looking at the magnificent building and the way Solomon is addressed by the servants who come and go, it is not difficult to guess where this is.

Eloise asked Solomon, puzzled, "This is your house, isn't it? Why did you bring me here?"

"The present Solomon prepared is inside the room, Mummy will know when she comes with me."

With those words, Solomon tugged Eloise's hand into the mansion.

Eloise will look at Solomon with some hesitation.

How would she face Hector if he was still around...

Solomon, however, had already taken her hand and was heading for his room.

Standing still in front of the door to the room, Solomon said to Eloise with a twinkle in his eye and excitement, "Here it is, this is it, can Mummy close her eyes for a moment?" Eloise nodded and closed her eyes cooperatively.

A small pair of hands took hold of her fingers and slowly led her indoors.

After a moment, Solomon let go of her hand and ran forward to pound on something, lifting it and making a rustling sound.

"Is that OK?"

Eloise asked in a low voice, the darkness leaving her a little disoriented.

"That's fine, mummy open your eyes."

Eloise opened her eyes at the sound, the bright light causing her to half-squint.

As her pupils adjusted to the light, she took in the scene before her.

There are four dolls on the bed, a little ugly to sew, but you can tell they are two men and two women, neatly arranged in a row. Solomon rubbed his little hands together a little restlessly and looked at Eloise with a look of anticipation.

"What is it?" Eloise asked in a mute voice.

Holding up the four dolls, Solomon carefully placed them in front of Eloise and explained seriously, "This is our family of four. This big one is daddy, this one in the pretty dress is mummy, this tiny one is sister, and there is a me."

Eloise's throat twitched at the sight of the rough stitching on top of the figure.

Her voice caught a little, "Did you sew this yourself?"

Solomon nodded heavily and enquired uneasily, "Well, does Mummy like it? Solomon's sewing is bad and a bit ugly."

Eloise's mind was shocked, a child half his age should have gone to a lot of trouble to get all these stitches.

Subconsciously, he went to look at Solomon's hands and found marks on them that had been cut by pins.

The fine skin leaves lacerations that are painful to look at.

No wonder there are band-aids on some fingers.

Eloise's eyes moistened for a moment and she looked at Solomon with emotion.

"Why did you send me this?"

Seeing Eloise's eyes slightly red, Solomon panicked a little and pulled his hand back, mumbling his lips, "Because I want the four of us to be together all the time, and ... don't want Mummy to forget about me and Daddy... ..." As he said this, a depressed look covered the little child's eyes and his voice grew lower and lower.

Eloise sniffed and her throat choked as tears overflowed her eyes.

It was as if a thorn had been lodged in her heart, and the pain tore through her.

She bent down and heartily took Solomon into her arms.

Her heart tickled with inexplicable mourning, tears falling down the corners of her eyes, she said softly, "Thank you, Solomon, I... mommy loved it."

It was the first time she acknowledged the name Solomon and identified the child from the bottom of her heart.

Whether she remembers or not, he is her child.

That evening, Eloise returned home with four more figurines in her bag.

Throughout the night, she wandered off to the dolls, her thoughts drifting away.

The urge to retrieve memories grows more urgent in mind...

The next day Sweety woke up to see four dolls and looked at Eloise curiously and asked, "Mummy what are these? What ugly rag dolls."

When she heard Sweety say ugly, Eloise looked a little upset and carefully put the doll away before saying, "Sweety, don't say that, it's a gift from brother to mummy. Look at this little doll, it's you, with two pigtails, it's cute, isn't it?" Educated by Eloise, Sweety bristled.

But when he heard it was a gift from Solomon, Sweety immediately changed her demeanour.

Picking up the figurine that belonged to her, she said with surprise, "So this is the image Sweety has in her brother's mind, then this Sweety has to keep it for herself."

Handing the doll over to Sweety, Eloise said to Sweety with immense solemnity, "Good, then you must protect her, because this is your brother's heart and soul." "Don't worry, Mummy, I'll protect her."

Sweety said and made a gesture of salute, and Eloise laughed a little bit bitterly.

After cleaning up for Sweety, Eloise went to the office.
