Love Comes To Me
Chapter 622: As long as mommy agrees

Sweety said with some excitement as she wrapped her arms around Hector's neck, "Oh yeah! All Sweety wants as a present is the four of us together!" A child's words are not a good idea, but the listener is.

Both of the adults in the room were stunned, and Eloise was even more surprised that Sweety would say something like that.

There was a moment of silence as Hector responded, "Yes, we can be together as a family as long as Mummy agrees."

Sweety sniffed and looked over at Eloise with expectant eyes and pouted, "Mommy~"

Eloise was a little uncomfortable as she saw all three looking at her with hopeful faces.

"Okay Sweety stop it and come down quickly, your Uncle Ken has work to do." Avoiding the topic just mentioned, Eloise took Sweety out of Hector's hands.

Seeing that she was avoiding it, Hector didn't hold on to that question any longer.

Following Eloise's lead, she said, "It just so happens that I need to go and talk to Solomon's primary care doctor, and Solomon will be asking you to look after him for a bit longer." "Hmm."

With a breezy reply, Eloise went out to fetch water for Solomon.

Hector followed him out, and Sweety chatted with Solomon at the bedside, and Solomon listened patiently to the little girl's wild ideas.

The afternoon sun is warm and balmy, and shines so harmoniously on the two little figures in bed.

In the consulting room, Hector held Solomon's examination film in his hand, which showed some misalignment of the bones.

The doctor pointed to a spot on the film and said, "The child's leg is more severely injured here and the cartilage inside is worn down, which will have a greater impact in the future." Putting down the film, Hector enquired, "How much longer will the treatment take?"

"Tomorrow he will be given a reset correction, if it is good he can be discharged within three days, if not he will probably be under observation for a while."

Hector sniffed, his expression somewhat sombre.

Poor Solomon has to suffer so much at such a young age, it's really heartbreaking.

After leaving the clinic, Hector returned to the ward, his mood brightening as he watched the three of them talking and laughing.

Seeing that Hector's expression was not very good, Eloise asked worriedly, "What did the doctor say? Is Solomon very serious?"

"It's not that serious, it just needs to be observed for a while, a repositioning operation tomorrow and if there's nothing wrong, you'll be able to check out of the hospital." With these words, Eloise's heart was left hanging.

She gently stroked Solomon's forehead and said, "As long as Solomon cooperates with the medical staff, he will be fine as soon as possible."

"Yes brother, Sweety is cheering you on to cheer you up!"

Sweety said this and jumped up and down on the floor with her little arms and legs, causing all three of them to laugh and have a good time.

Solomon on the bed tugged at the corner of Eloise's coat and whispered, "Mummy, will you come over for the operation tomorrow, I'm not afraid with you here."

"Sure, I'll come." Eloise said softly.

A little more time was spent at the hospital before Eloise left with Sweety.

Hector stood at the window looking at the backs of the mother and daughter as they departed, and the thought in his mind that he wanted to keep her close to him grew even more.

"Daddy, if you have something to do, go ahead and get busy, it's okay for me to be here by myself."

Solomon knew Hector must have put off a lot of things on his return this time and he didn't want to hold up Daddy's work.

Hector sniffed and walked up to Solomon, rubbed his hair and said, "Daddy came back this time to keep you company, you don't have to think much about anything, just sleep, it won't hurt when you're asleep." Solomon closed his eyes knowingly and was in dreamland in no time.

Seeing him asleep, Hector tiptoed out of the ward.

He instructed Thomas to arrange for someone to guard the front of the ward, and only then left in peace.

Later in the evening, Eloise returned to the Darlington family with Sweety, and Rowson immediately brought out the cut fruit when he saw it.

He said, "This is the fruit that has just come back from abroad, try it and see if it is to your liking."

With these words, the fruit was handed to Eloise's mouth, who did not refuse and simply opened her mouth and ate it.

Eloise initiated the conversation, "It's quite tasty, why are you back so early today?"

"There was nothing going on at the Institute, so I came back early, just in time to wait for you too, it's been a long time since we've had a meal together as a family."

As soon as Rowson's words left her mouth, Mrs Darlington came from the distance, took Eloise's hand and said, "Eloise, it's a rare day when everyone is here, so let's go out for dinner, I'm too lazy to order the kitchen to prepare it." He gave Mr. Darlington Sr a look, which he immediately understood.

He picked Sweety up and said, "Sweety, how about Grandpa taking you to eat cake today?"

When she heard there was cake to be had, the little girl immediately clapped her hands in favour, "Yes! Sweety wants two!"

Amused by Sweety's reaction, Mr. Darlington Sr scratched the tip of Sweety's nose and said, "Well, well, well, well.

Then the eyes of several people looked at Eloise asking her opinion, Eloise could not help but feel a little helpless, did she have any other choice but to go along?

When they arrived at the restaurant, Rowson carefully pulled out the chairs and Eloise saw fit to sit down.

During the meal, Rowson looked so attentive as he occasionally served Eloise's food and made her juice.

As they watched the two of them make up, the two old men across the room sort of let go.

Eloise was a little distracted at the moment, however, and Hector was always in her mind. She knew it wasn't right, but she couldn't help herself.

After dinner, Rowson offered to take a walk outside and Eloise hesitated and did not refuse.

The Darlington family had the good sense to take Sweety away and leave the couple alone. Walking down the street, both Eloise and Rowson were silent.

Rowson wanted to say something, but looked at Eloise with a preoccupied look on her face.

This time the pulling together failed.

The following day, Eloise arrived early at the hospital as Solomon had a small operation to perform today.

Solomon was delighted to see Eloise turn up on time, and after a hug with Eloise, he dutifully went into the operating theatre.

In the corridor, Eloise sits on a bench and looks worriedly in the direction of the operating theatre.

Hector's gaze went straight to Eloise, who had lost a lot of weight over the past few days, her figure all but thinner than before.

The eyes behind her were so hot that Eloise couldn't help but wince.

Hector saw this and sat down beside Eloise, taking the clothes off his body.

"It's a bit cooler in here than it will be outside, so be careful you don't catch a cold."

The drape still smelled of Hector and Eloise couldn't help but blush a little.
