Love Comes To Me
Chapter 630: You're blocking my light

After Marian left, Hector and Yingtian talked for a long time more.

Unbeknownst to me, the evening breeze blew a heavy night, and when I looked back, time had slipped away.

After finalising the last party, Hector said, "That's it for today, keep an eye on the Italian side."

With his beautiful five fingers slightly flexed, Hector tapped the table with a single stroke.

A confident look appeared on Ying Tian's face as he responded with a confident chest, "Okay, boss you don't have to worry, I'll take care of it."

At the end, he looked to Hector with an air of desperation.

"Something else?" Hector raised an eyebrow.

Under his gaze, Ying Tian couldn't help but feel the pressure.

After a few moments of agonising, he turned to Hector and said, "Boss, I'm leaving for Italy tomorrow, but I'd like to keep someone on your side so that I can arrange things for her." Looking at the twinkle in Yingtian's eyes, Hector already knew in his mind who he was talking about.

He couldn't help but frown slightly, his pupils immediately tinged with a few moments of hostility, but sought to cover it up immediately.

"You mean to say leave Marian over here."

Hector's demeanour was muted and Ying Tian was momentarily confused as to whether Hector would say yes or no.

It was clear to him that Hector had a real dilemma with Marian, and was disgusted by her.

It's just better not to touch the president's scales.

Ying Tian once again suggested, "If you mind, I'll think of something else."

"No, that's all, I have nothing against it." Hector replied with an indifferent expression.

As things stand, Marian is best placed to stay and carry out the task Yingtian has given her.

This makes problem solving more efficient.

The only reason she agreed to keep Marian was because she was still of use!

Ying Tian sniffed and breathed a sigh of relief.

For a moment there, he was afraid that his boss would get emotionally involved and reject his offer.

Once out of the study, he found Marian and told her about it.

Marian, who had a lost look on her face, exuded a shocked expression after hearing Yingtian's words.

Marian's throat was slightly scratchy as she froze and asked Yingtian, "The prince he really said that? He agreed for me to stay?"

"It's true, I heard it with my own ears." Ying Tian nodded.

Immediately afterwards he gave instructions on what Marian needed to do with him.

Yet Marian is still reeling from the news that Hector has promised her to stay.

She, who had been gloomy and sad, suddenly caught a bit of light.

The little light quickly filled the heart and spread out into a sky full of stars.

The gloom was cleared away, and a big smile then lifted the corners of his mouth.

Does this mean he has forgiven her for what she once did?

"Marian, are you listening to me?"

Ying Tian frowned and reached out to dangle his hand in front of Marian's face, unable to resist raising the volume.

Marian snapped back to his senses, realizing his outburst, and immediately responded, "Huh? I'm really sorry, I didn't hear you just now..." Yingtian had no choice but to re-instruct what he had just said.

The following day, Yingtian left.

Marian was waiting early in the living room.

The sun was shining and at exactly eight o'clock Hector came down the stairs with Solomon.

The light falls on a small and large figure, engraving their similar features.

Hector's fingertips flicked the cufflinks, the sleeves hooking up unobtrusively to reveal powerful wrists.

In the light, the whiteness is somewhat sexy.

Marian forgot to look at it for a moment.

Sensing a dark shadow falling, Marian hastily lowered his head and called coyly, "Good morning, my lord, young prince." "Hmm."

Solomon maintained a hint of politeness and responded in a nonchalant manner.

Hector, on the other hand, looked as indifferent as if he hadn't seen her as a person, pulling Solomon straight towards the table.

Not a single glance fell on Marian, let alone heeded her greeting.

Marian, left in the lurch, rubbed her hands together in embarrassment, the smile disappearing from the corners of her mouth and the light in her eyes darkening considerably. She then had the good sense to wait in the living room, not daring to go up and make a fool of herself again.

The Rogers family finished their breakfast quickly and since it was the weekend and Solomon was not in class and bored at home, Hector took Solomon straight to the office. Marian followed suit.

When they arrived at the office, Hector took Solomon to the office.

In a cold voice, she told Marian to keep an eye on Solomon and then went out for the morning meeting.

The large office was soon left to Marian and Solomon.

The breeze blew through the white night window as Solomon sat in Hector's special chair.

Leaning back in a languid position, the got feet hanging in mid-air swayed merrily with the wind.

Marian, who was trying to impress Solomon, went up to him and, with a smile on her face, half-crouched down and asked him, "What grade are you in, little prince?"

At this point Solomon had his comic book in his hand and wasn't very keen to talk to Marian.

He could sense that Daddy hated this woman, so, he didn't like it either!

But out of courtesy he answered Marian's question briefly, "The same as at home."

When Solomon ignored her, Marian pursued the question, "Ah, so, you're not used to going to school here in France, then?"

"No way." Solomon flipped through the pages, a little impatiently.

He doesn't like it when someone grabs him and asks questions while he's reading a book.

Sensing Solomon's indifference, Marian rubbed her nose awkwardly.

Changing the subject, he said, "So, do you want something to eat, I'll go get it for you, ice cream or lollipops? I remember you used to quite like those."

Marian took it for granted that children have a sweet tooth.

Solomon was slightly stunned as he took his eyes off the book and frowned at Marian, "I don't like sweets, and I never did before. Go ahead and eat if you're hungry, don't mind me, and please move out of my way if you're in the way." The cold tone is surprisingly similar to Hector's.

Marian's face turned a pale blue and purple with embarrassment.

She sidled up and moved away from the front of Solomon.

Just as Hector came in from a meeting, she couldn't stay.

Find an excuse and slip out to wait outside, as if avoiding a snake or a tiger.

The corner of Hector's mouth curved upwards as he watched Marian's reaction to the look of a Jedi running away in the dust.

Quite interested, he asked Solomon, "What did you do?"

Solomon set the comic book down to the side and yawned in boredom.

Following Hector's line of sight, I knew he was talking about Marian.

She was trying to impress me, but I saw through her and she was embarrassed."
