Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 631: Why did you come back!
The smile in Hector's eyes grew, his son, as it were, was just like him.
"Daddy, I'm so bored, can we go replace Mummy and Sister?"
Solomon dragged his hand over his cheek and blinked innocently as he questioned Hector.
Hector curbed his grin and retorted mercilessly, "No."
Solomon's face fell at once and he pursued the question reluctantly, "Ah, why is that?"
"Your mummy's busy and I'm still at work, I'm not available."
Hector's words nearly drove Solomon crazy, and Solomon heard the second half of the sentence as the point.
Solomon thought of a good idea and the ghost said, "Well, just have the driver take me there, I won't get lost." Hector froze for a moment and then balked again, "No, you'll make a lot of noise, stay here."
At that, Solomon looked at Hector with a stifled expression.
Daddy did it on purpose!
Daddy can't go to Mummy and won't let him!
It's the most poisonous of men!
After being refuted by Hector's decision to go back to Eloise, Solomon sighed no less than ten times in just five minutes.
Every time he changed his mind, he whispered in his ear.
It made Hector unable to concentrate at all, the pen resting between his index finger and thumb as he looked helplessly at Solomon. "You can call them and ask."
Solomon's eyes lit up at once.
Bumbling around, he picked up Hector's phone and couldn't wait to make a video call to Eloise.
It didn't take long for the call to be answered, Eloise's face appeared on the screen and Solomon greeted her excitedly.
"Mummy! What are you doing?"
Eloise is caring for Mrs Darlington in hospital.
Mrs Darlington has been in a coma since the operation and woke up once, but due to the severity of her injuries, she will have to undergo further surgery.
Eloise was so overwhelmed that she volunteered to come and look after Mrs Darlington.
I was a little tired, but when I saw Solomon, the tiredness in my eyes lifted.
She curled her lips and said, "With Sweety at the hospital taking care of Grandma."
Eloise spins the phone around to show Solomon what's going on inside the hospital.
At the sound of Solomon's voice, the little girl immediately ran over and peeled to see the camera.
"Brother! Is that brother? Give it to me, give it to me."
Eloise smiled helplessly and took the little girl over to sit on her lap, and together they chatted with Solomon.
The little girl was so excited that she gave Solomon a sweet kiss across the screen.
"What's brother doing?"
The little girl looked at the place where Solomon was, her eyes darting around.
This place looks a bit familiar.
"It's so boring being at work with Daddy." Solomon couldn't help but complain.
"Brat! Didn't they all let you video it?"
The man's low voice came through the phone and Eloise froze slightly, her breath catching.
Fortunately, Hector didn't come over immediately, as if he was just responding to Solomon's words.
"Slightly, slightly." On the other end, Solomon made a face backwards.
"Slightly, slightly, slightly."
The little girl also made a face with her index finger poking her right eye in imitation of Solomon, causing Eloise to cry and laugh. The three of them rambled on and on.
The conversation went on and on and the topic went off the rails.
After a while, Solomon suddenly turned to Eloise and said, "Mummy, wait until later, I'll come to the hospital to see you and my sister, I want to see you."
Eloise hesitated for a moment and then said, "I'll come to you guys, just in time to invite your daddy to dinner and want to thank him for helping to look after Sweety these days." The words left her lips and she smiled warmly.
Hector on the other side of the phone had actually been composing himself, keeping his ears open for any movement on this side.
This time, when Eloise mentions herself, she can't sit still.
He slowly got up and stepped into the shot.
"Hi."
Eloise lifted Sweety's hand and greeted him.
"What time do you get off work tonight? I'll buy you dinner."
Hector's thin lips were pursed and his eyes fell into a light.
The knot in his throat twitched slightly, subconsciously trying to say no.
The words to look after Sweety, as he was supposed to, came to his lips but were immediately swallowed down.
Eloise had offered to have dinner with her once in a while, so it was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
He was quite eager to meet the mother and daughter, so he responded in a quiet voice, "Six o'clock."
Next to him, Solomon's eyes blinked and blinked as he watched Hector and couldn't help but snicker. Finish work at six?
Sure it's not seven o'clock?
Eloise on the other end was unquestioning, "Well, OK, I'll see you there."
After the two adults had finalised the time, the two young children were the most excited.
It was close to jumping up and down in place.
Once the call ended, Sweety made a point of asking Eloise what time it was.
Silently planning up what she would wear for the evening, causing Eloise to burst out laughing.
After greeting the hospital nurse, she took the little girl back to freshen up and it was soon time for the appointment.
Mother and daughter set off in a hurry to meet up with the Rogers family, father and son.
Marian over here also just knew that father and son were going to have dinner with someone, but not who they were meeting. While at the office, both Hector and Solomon were seen to be vaguely excited.
Hector was even more so, looking at the wall clock numerous times in an hour with a distracted look.
Marian couldn't help but wonder who the father and son were meeting that they were acting so discreetly. The answer to the question comes with the twilight.
The twilight is pale and in the distance, a large and small figure comes against the setting sun.
When Eloise appeared in Marian's field of vision, leading a half-grown little girl, she shuddered uncontrollably.
Pupils dilating violently, she stared at Eloise's face and took a few steps back in horror.
The face changed then.
How could it be, how could Eloise still be alive?
Her mouth was slightly open in shock.
"Daddy, brother, hug!"
The little girl's soft voice cut through the air and echoed in the empty silence as she disengaged Eloise's hand and ran towards her father and son. Eloise followed with a helpless look on her face and yanked the little girl off Solomon, saying with a stern face, "Sweety, no fooling around!" Solomon's leg is still bruised and another injury would mean another hospital stay.
Marian flinched at the sound of that familiar voice.
She looked straight at Eloise's face, which was so close to her eyes that it was like a nightmare, and stimulated the nerves at once.
Even if she didn't want to believe it, there was no doubt that the person opposite was Eloise.
But isn't she already dead?
Why, is it here?
A huge cloud of suspicion swept over Marian's mind and the shock in her heart amplified a little.
For a moment, she forgot to manage her expression.
A strong hatred climbed fiercely under his eyes, his nails sinking deep into his flesh.
Why, why did you come back!
She cried out in her mind with indignation.
Eloise is back, so what was the point of being expelled all those years ago itself?
