Love Comes To Me
Chapter 668: Mummy's Wrong

Upon meeting Eloise, Hector's aura of coldness and oppression was gone, and he was a gentle mess. "Finished eating?"

Eloise nodded and replied, "Well, eat up, don't get cold."

Reaching out to take the bowl from Eloise, Hector had never felt that lunch was so delicious.

On the other hand, Mrs Darlington was almost well enough and was given a doctor's note to recuperate at home.

It will take time to adjust and will be ready for discharge in the next few days.

On the day of her discharge Eloise dropped what she was doing and walked Mrs Darlington all the way out of the hospital.

Mrs Darlington was more excited than expected, having spent so much time in hospital and being a little tired long before.

It was a real pleasure to breathe in the fresh air at this time.

Eloise was very generous in talking to Mrs Darlington, who pulled Eloise along the way.

As Mrs Darlington was not yet able to walk very fast, Eloise helped her to walk ahead.

While Rowson and the butler were in charge of getting things in the back, Rowson watched the two men's backs, the original bitterness in his heart deepening a little more.

If only things were as they seem on the surface.

Often though, reality is harsh.

She has not yet told Mrs Darlington what happened between them, and I'm sure Mrs Darlington would have to go back to hospital if she knew.

Once back home, Rowson hurried back to the Institute.

The care of Mrs Darlington has fallen behind in this time and has not been dealt with in time, and now that Mrs Darlington is fine, he must return to his place.

Eloise felt guilty and upset when she thought that she had been so preoccupied with Solomon's illness that she had neglected Mrs Darlington, an elderly woman.

Stroking Mrs Darlington's hand, Eloise said, "Mum, it's been a really hard time for you."

Mrs Darlington smiled at this and returned the handshake, "What's so hard about it, Sweety is my granddaughter and I certainly couldn't let anything happen to her, so don't take this to heart." After making the arrangements for Mrs Darlington, Eloise put on her apron and cooked for herself.

She has always been a good cook and is very good at many home-cooked dishes.

But caring for a patient is always tiring, and after all, Mrs Darlington is not yet able to dress herself very well.

Every evening, there is a soreness coming from the shoulder.

But she also replaces time to come and visit Solomon in hospital, who is, after all, always in her thoughts. There is something wonderful about this feeling.

A few days later, Eloise was just about to start dinner when her mobile phone vibrated in her jacket pocket. Turning on the phone, it was Hector calling.

Puzzled, she spoke, "Hello?"

Instead of Hector's low, charming voice, it was Sweety's crisp, clear voice that took Eloise by surprise. "Mummy! Sweety!"

Eloise cried and laughed, her gaze unknowingly becoming tender.

"Thinking of Mummy only now, eh? You little one."

These days she stays with the Darlington family to look after Mrs Matriarch and the little girl stays with the Rogers family.

Sweety is, on the contrary, a bit of a joy.

Here she has her favourite dad, brother and grandparents.

The man who claimed to be the youngest uncle was also incredibly handsome, so Sweety wasn't too concerned about the Darlington family side of things. Sweety looks a little funny with her small hands holding the slightly larger phone.

She deflated and pouted, "Sweety isn't, Sweety misses Mummy every day, but Mummy hasn't visited Sweety for a long time and brother is recovering well." Unable to talk the little girl out of it, Eloise simply conceded defeat.

"Fine, fine, mummy's wrong."

Hector sat next to Sweety, his eyes gesturing for Sweety to continue.

Sweety smiled even more, grinned and asked, "So is Mummy coming to the hospital this afternoon? Sweety is here for you oh." "Hmm."

Eloise nodded, and mother and daughter made out for a while longer before hanging up the phone.

"Is something wrong?"

Rowson couldn't resist asking.

Eloise gave Rowson a slightly apologetic look, "Yes, I need to go to the hospital for a bit today, you take care of Mum's side." Before Rowson could say no, Eloise got up and went to pack.

Hospital Promenade.

Sweety shook her phone proudly in front of Hector, raising her head with unmistakable pride.

Mr Fletcher and Mrs Matriarch were all smiles when Sweety said, "Mummy said to come and see me this afternoon!"

These days Eloise is so busy looking after Mrs Darlington that she has less time to come to the hospital.

Hector is seeing less and less of her, and it's a good thing Mrs Matriarch thought to have Sweety as a good helper. As it happens, the person was asked out.

When Eloise arrives at the hospital, she sees Hector holding Sweety and making her happy.

Mr Fletcher and Mrs Matriarch were all smiles as they waved at her arrival.

"Eloise is here, have a seat."

"Uncle and aunt." Eloise greeted politely before crouching down in front of Sweety.

Stroking Sweety's soft face, his voice doting, "Didn't you say you missed me? I see you're having a good time."

Sweety smiled cheerfully, her little face white, "Sweety really did miss Mummy!"

After a few words, Mrs Matriarch took Sweety to one side.

Leave a space for the two to talk.

Eloise and Hector sat on chairs and watched Mr Fletcher, Mrs Matriarch and Sweety having fun.

She rested her chin and sighed, "I originally wanted to take Sweety home, but now I can't even bear to separate them after seeing how well my aunt and uncle get along with Sweety." Hector was naturally happy to hear this, but on the surface he still had the same cool and bland look.

But the slight curve of his mouth reveals his inner thoughts.

He raised an eyebrow and replied, "Since Sweety likes being here, it's good to go along with it."

At this point in time, Eloise only hopes that her children will grow up healthy and happy.

She is content to see Sweety smiling and happy every day.

Looking over at Hector with a little embarrassment, Eloise spoke, "Well, I'm mostly sorry for bothering you and your aunts and uncles to look after Sweety." How can it be a hassle?

Hector lowered his eyes slightly, he couldn't wait for her to keep bothering himself.

"It's okay, there's nothing going on with my parents and they're happy to spend time with Sweety."

Eloise was always concerned about Solomon's condition and went over to spend some time with him.

Now that Solomon is recovering well, he is naturally overjoyed to see Eloise.

Pulled her through several stories.

Time always flies when you are with someone you care about, and as the sun sets, Eloise can't help but get up and leave.

Before she left, she asked Sweety, who did not want to be separated from Mr Fletcher and Mrs Matriarch yet, so she had to go back on her own.
