Love Comes To Me
Chapter 678: It's not over this time

However, Hector did not say that he was sending her protection.

Eloise instantly caught the meaning of Hector's words.

Frowning, he asked, "Do you know that woman? Or did that woman know me before?"

Rowson listened on, and his face tightened.

"In the past, she's had problems with us all and has been trying to harm you."

Hector explained.

Eloise was about to press the issue more closely when Hector digressed.

"But she's dead, hit by a car after pushing you, nothing to do with you, so don't worry too much if the police come asking." The two men's faces paled with shock at the words.

Hector then gave a brief account of the situation reported by his subordinates.

Eloise was instantly put into a trance by this dramatic turn of events.

Mixed feelings emerged in her mind, not knowing what kind of emotion.

The ward fell silent for a moment.

Hector stared at the look on Eloise's face, and there was some concern in his mind.

She was afraid that the incident would leave her with a bad memory.

After spending a little more time here with her and seeing for himself that Eloise was okay, Hector turned away in silence.

Before leaving, he left a few bodyguards behind, instructing them to make sure they followed Eloise and kept her safe.

If anything happens, you will pay for it with your life.

The bodyguards did not dare to be neglected.

The doctor then came over to check Eloise's body.

When she saw that she was fine, she didn't stop them from doing the discharge, but only urged her to remember to go back to the hospital to change her medication.

It was a little late when we returned to the Darlington family.

As soon as Eloise and Rowson entered the house, Rowson's mother greeted them.

She took Eloise's arm and asked with a worried look on her face.

"Eloise, are you all right? Where did you hurt yourself? Has the doctor seen it yet?"

Mr. Darlington Sr was also very worried and chimed in, "Such bad luck on a trip, is he okay?"

Learning the whole story from Rowson's mouth led to the two elders being worried about Eloise.

After seeing for herself that Eloise was all right, she put her heart back in her mouth.

Sorry to make two old people worry about themselves, Eloise said with an apology, "Mum and Dad, I'm fine, I've made you worry."

"You girl, you don't know how to be careful when you're out and about." Mrs Darlington grumbled.

"It's good that it's okay this time, what if something had happened?"

Eloise's heart was warmed by the knowledge that Mrs Darlington was concerned for her.

She coaxed good-naturedly, "Don't worry, Mom, I won't next time, I'll be sure to pay attention."

"Eloise ..." Mrs Darlington smiled helplessly, but couldn't say anything more.

Mrs Darlington was really scared after this incident and she took Eloise and urged her, "Don't go out for a few days, stay home with Sweety, the boy misses you." Because of this car accident, Eloise was no longer in the mood to go out and agreed to do so.

Mrs Darlington took Eloise again and tried to say something, but was interrupted by Mr. Darlington Sr.

Considering that Eloise had just returned from hospital, she was afraid that her body would not be able to cope.

Mr. Darlington Sr spoke up and said, "All right, you stop pestering too, Eloise the child is tired, you let her rest."

Eloise sniffed and said quickly, "It's okay, Dad I'm not tired."

Still, Mrs Darlington was distressed by Eloise and urged her to get some rest.

As soon as Eloise left, Mrs Darlington frowned and looked over at Rowson with concern.

"Rowson, is it true what you said on the phone? That the crash was deliberately engineered?"

Rowson sat down on the sofa and took a few sips of water to moisten his throat.

"That's the thing, that's what Hector said, exactly who it was, I've mentioned it on the phone, I had a feeling. This time it's not over, there's always a feeling that something else will happen to..." Rowson frowned, vaguely angry.

This time it is not only Eloise who is in danger, but also his family.

Mrs Darlington was secretly alarmed as she and Mr. Darlington Sr looked at each other, suppressing the chill that had risen in their hearts.

What kind of life did Eloise lead before, and why was everyone around her so horrible?

Sensing his parents' concern, Rowson rubbed his brow and said calmly, "Mum and Dad, I'll sort it out, don't worry too much, we Darlington family are not that easy to bully."

Mr. Darlington Sr. has been in high places for a long time and knows a lot about these shady things.

Since he trusted his son, he would not interfere.

Just say calmly, "I'll leave it to you to sort it out properly and not leave any hidden problems."

"Hmm." Rowson responded.

Seeing that it was late, Rowson spoke to his parents and went to his study to deal with the backlog of business.

Eloise spent the next few days at home with Sweety, who was very lively because of the company of her mummy.

This day Eloise is in her room eating a small biscuit with Sweety when the house maid comes up and knocks on the door.

"Miss Eloise, Madame asks you to come down, says you have a visitor."

Eloise was surprised by this, then patted Sweety on the head and told her to wait in the room.

Eloise arrived downstairs and before she could say anything, a Solomon pounced on her, calling out in a milky voice, "Mummy!"

Solomon lunged for Eloise's leg, head held high and eyes shining brightly at Eloise.

It turned out to be Solomon, and Eloise's eyes lit up.

She bent down to pick up Solomon, really not expecting the little one to come to the Darlington family.

"Solomon, what brings you here?"

"I miss Mummy." Solomon admitted honestly.

He wrapped his arms around Eloise's neck, thought about it, and barks at Eloise's cheeks.

Solomon is considerate of Eloise and is afraid she will get tired of holding herself for a long time.

Climb down of your own accord and sit squarely next to it.

Knowing that Eloise and Solomon were close, Mrs Darlington asked the maid to bring up fruit and place it in front of Solomon herself.

"Solomon have some fruit."

"Thank you Darlington Grandmother."

Solomon took a slice of pear and thanked her nicely.

Solomon has always been very disciplined when it comes to outsiders, and his manners are as perfect as they have ever been in the Rogers family, making it impossible to fault him.

It was the first time that Rowson's parents had met Solomon, but Solomon was well behaved and knew how to answer basically anything that was asked of him.

He is also exquisitely lovely looking, and there is nothing to dislike about either of them.

Plucking a peach and handing it to Solomon, Mr. Darlington Sr asked him, "Is Solomon here to see Eloise?"

"Yes." Solomon answered seriously.

Then looking up at Eloise, she grabbed her sleeve and asked nervously, "Mummy, are you all right? I heard from Daddy that you almost had a car accident.

I wanted to come and see you, but Daddy wouldn't let me, and it took me a long time to get Daddy to let me out."

Solomon's tone was pitiful, his eyes a little green and black underneath, and he guessed he hadn't rested for days. Eloise felt a pang of heartache, as if her heart had been burned.

In a slightly chastising tone, he said, "I'm fine, but Solomon is just fine and needs to rest."
