Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 679: How to say it's an outsider
Solomon nodded in response and then said, "But I'm worried about Mummy and I can't sleep well."
Said with another look of resignation, Eloise was so distressed she didn't know what to say.
Solomon stared at her for a few moments before jumping off the couch and scuffing aside to replace the small backpack he had brought with him.
Unzip it and pull out a bunch of odd little things from inside.
Solomon introduced his little things one by one, "Mummy, this is the wound medicine I secretly asked the doctor to replace, apply this and the wound will heal quickly. And this, this is a band-aid, put it on and 'whoop' twice and the wound won't hurt ..."
With that said, he also gave Eloise a patch to put on her skin and, finally, pulled out a beautiful glass jar.
The jars are filled with beautifully wrapped sweets.
Offering this jar to Eloise, Solomon's eyes shone brightly.
The little face flushed a little and mumbled, "All the sweets in here are for Sweety and I thought I'd bring them over since my sister has been sick for the last while." Eloise was not expecting Solomon to be so attentive and was touched.
At that moment Sweety looked to hold the maid's hand as she bounced down the stairs and, seeing Solomon, called out cheerfully, "Brother!"
At the sound of Sweety's voice, Solomon shoved the candy cane into Sweety's hand and said with little adult seriousness, "This is for you."
Sweety was very happy to receive the gift and responded politely, "Thank you brother."
A few more sweet smiles on her face.
Sweety then took Solomon's hand and led him upstairs to play.
Hugging her favourite doll bear to Solomon, she giggled, "Brother, Sweety is letting you have the bear, so you can talk to the bear!" Solomon sniffed and dutifully put the bear on his back.
The combination of the delicate and beautiful little boy and the bear managed to make the Darlington family maids fall in love. They have gathered towards the duo.
"Brother."
Sweety tugged on Solomon's sleeve and whispered in Solomon's ear, "Bear is a wish bear, brother can make a wish to bear and bear will help brother to get his wish."
At the end, Sweety, uneasy and afraid that Solomon would not believe her, added, "It's true!"
But Solomon's face was torn, knowing that wishing for something was a lie, but he couldn't refuse Sweety.
But Sweety couldn't resist, so the two little ones got together and started to make a wish on the wishing bear.
Eloise was delighted to see the two children playing well together.
Solomon was witty as hell, and Mrs Darlington and Mr. Darlington Sr were fond of Solomon.
When it was time to eat, Solomon was left behind for dinner.
Naturally Solomon would not say no to the opportunity to dine with Eloise and readily agreed to do so.
Later in the evening, Rowson returned from being out and was not too impressed to see Solomon there.
He had seen how clingy Eloise was.
However, Mrs Darlington was a little concerned when she heard the young Prince of the Rogers family call Eloise "Mummy" and mentioned it to Rowson, fearing that her son would think too much of it. "O Rowson, the little prince of the Rogers family doesn't even know who his birth mother is, he's more dependent on Eloise and you shouldn't think too much of it."
Having previously learned about Solomon's life, Mrs Darlington's heart went out to the boy.
One can't help but feel Mrs Darlington's motherly love flooding her heart with a little more affection for Solomon.
Rowson has long been used to Solomon calling Eloise "Mummy" and is not too hostile towards him.
After all, it's just a kid, and besides, Eloise loves Solomon.
With that said, Rowson nodded to Mrs Darlington, "Got it, Mum, I'm not too upset with a kid. Don't you worry about that one."
Mrs Darlington was also much relieved to hear this.
Dinner was well prepared and Mrs Darlington plied Solomon with food several times at the table, urging him to eat more.
Solomon politely thanked Mrs Darlington and very respectfully finished his bowl of food.
At the end of dinner, Hector left work from the office and came around to pick Solomon up and take him home.
While Mrs Darlington is friendly to Solomon, her attitude towards Hector, who is clearly entangled with Eloise, is subtle. Hector's temperament is cold and clear, and his words rarely carry warmth.
He thanked the Darlington family and took Solomon's little hand as he prepared to leave.
Mrs Darlington sees this as an opportunity to disabuse the Rogers family of the Prince's thoughts about Eloise.
With a thought, Mrs Darlington put on a gentle, elegant smile and said to Hector, "Next month is Eloise and Rowson's wedding, I hope Mr Hector will do us the honour of bringing the little prince." Hector froze, his thoughts turning quickly, and he glanced at Eloise next to him, seemingly surprised by the news.
Eloise's breath tightened and her whole heart lifted.
She looked nervously into Hector's dark, inky eyes, afraid that Hector would spill the beans.
Fortunately, Hector only curled his lips in a light smile of uncertainty.
He averted his eyes and turned to Rowson with a provocative look in them.
The words were addressed to Mrs Darlington, "Is it true that Eloise is to be married to Mr. Rowson?"
The tone, as if uninformed, was simple in its pursuit.
Eloise's throat was clogged and she didn't know what to say, she couldn't tell what the mixed emotions inside her were all about.
Rowson's face was sullen and his fists, hidden under his sleeves, were bruised.
At any moment, it could be swung at the man with the dark eyes in front of him.
He took a deep breath, suppressing the heady anger inside him, and his tone was awful.
"Mr Hector, what do you mean by that?"
Hector surveyed Rowson, as if gauging whether Rowson was qualified to be his opponent.
He looked away for a moment, withdrew his own gaze and smiled playfully, "Literally."
Rowson's face darkened instantly and Eloise had a bit of a headache, a scene she couldn't cope with.
She knows she should be on Rowson's side now, but...
Hector is not to be messed with though, in case he accidentally angers him and Hector spills everything ...
It will be Mrs Darlington who will replace it difficult to accept when the time comes.
Now that she's just getting better, Eloise doesn't want her to be re-admitted to hospital.
Looking at Hector with a provocative look on his face, Rowson said sternly, "Hector!
No one is forcing you to have to come over, and Eloise's willingness to marry me is between us, and it's not your turn to question it."
Rowson then walked right up to Eloise and prepped her hand, his tone mocking, "This is the Darlington family, Mr Hector is an outsider anyhow, please go back." This is an eviction order.
The sweat on Eloise's spine stood straight up as Rowson walked up to her.
The next second, she froze directly in place.
The two held hands causing Hector's eyes to flicker dangerously a few times, his lips tugging at the corners with a dismissive snort.
