Love Comes To Me
Chapter 704: The Blood Pledge

Cerdic and Ramm were not far away when they heard the commotion and rushed over with their legs drawn, to see Hector's shoulder in a bright red state. However, the expressionless look on Hector's face gave the impression that it was not his blood.

The two men were in disbelief when Cerdic suddenly saw the bullet hole in the wall and was instantly furious.

How dare he use such underhanded tactics, sending an assassin to assassinate, the consequences of that shot would have been unthinkable if it had hit. "Whoever did this, I'm going to blow his brains out!"

Ramm, with a similarly grave look on his face, came over and asked, "Prince, are you all right?"

As he got closer, Ramm caught a strong whiff of blood at the end of his nose.

Abruptly, he looked up and out from the angle at which Hector was standing.

"Missed, just a graze, the guy got away." Hector said carelessly.

He looked slightly pale from the loss of blood and pain.

"I'll have someone track it down."

With those words, Ramm made to leave, but was pulled by Cerdic. "There's no need to check, it must be that Bergerian beast's doing."

Hector hooked the corner of his mouth and a cold smile crept onto his lips, "No, we'll settle this score sooner or later!"

As the minutes ticked by, Hector's face grew paler and paler.

Ramm couldn't care less and said, "Prince, we'll take you to hospital now."

It was only a graze, but it was from a bullet, so powerful that the wound could not just be left unattended.

Hector nodded his head.

Before he left, he looked back at the bullet hole in the wall, his eyes clouded with gloom.

Now that Bergerian was on to him, he couldn't go back to the public hospital, it would be too big a target.

Who knew if Bergerian, a ruthless man, had arranged for someone to guard the hospital.

Naturally, Ramm had considered this possibility and took Hector to the private hospital where the Rogers family had invested.

Afterwards, Hector took off his shirt and was half naked. The doctor expertly and carefully cleaned his wounds.

The shot was so powerful that the flesh of the wound gushed and bled profusely, making it a bit ominous.

The doctor could not help but frown.

But Hector did not move, his face as cold as frost.

The doctor was extremely impressed, for a man with such a wound would have been screaming at the top of his lungs.

Cerdic and Ramm watched, both chagrined.

Damn, they could have made such a mistake!

If Hector hadn't been so good, what would have been waiting for them?

The two men felt very scared just thinking about it.

"What are you doing here?" Hector suddenly spoke clearly and coldly.

Ramm said cautiously, "You need someone to look after you."

"No." Hector refused flatly.

Ramm still hesitated, "But in case they're not dead yet..."

Hector thought back to the scene, the killer had retreated immediately after the blow, obviously thinking he was certain to die. Bergerian should have been celebrating at this point, and would not have bothered with him, a dead man.

Hector didn't say much, though, but curled his mouth and asked rhetorically, "Have you finished what you were told to do?" The two men glanced at each other and emerged from the ward in a huff.

Cerdic said with hatred, "Bergerian, that scum, dared to assassinate the prince under his nose, I will not spare him!" Ramm glanced at him and said indifferently, "If you are worried about the prince, then go and replace out who Bergerian is." "You don't have to tell me, I'm going to replace out now." Cerdic gave him a blank stare.

The two men split up and moved into action immediately.

The members of the Dark Guard were all ghosts and worked very efficiently.

In less than twenty-four hours, the information on Bergerian had reached Cerdic.

He was very surprised when he got the information, he didn't expect that Bergerian's background, so complicated...

In the ward, Hector sat on the bed with his clothes on, one of his long legs curled, his posture very lazy.

Under his eyes, however, there was a deep murderous intent.

When Cerdic and Ramm pushed in, the man on the bed looked at them with the sharpness of a hawk's eye.

Both of them thumped in their hearts and said, "Prince, it's us, we didn't knock for fear of disturbing your sleep." Hector nodded slightly and said straightforwardly, "What's up?"

"Got it."

Cerdic stepped forward, "Prince, as we expected before, the Bergerian background is not simple."

Hector tilted his head slightly, listening to him.

Cerdic put away his playful look and said in a rare moment of seriousness, "Behind Bergerian, there may be a connection to the Blood Oath League." The Blood Oath League was an extremely large foreign alliance, with members all over the world, and the members of this alliance, extremely sick. There was once a saying that even if a sheep went to the Blood Oath League, it would turn into a devil that would choose people to devour. These people have no bottom line, no basic morals and are capable of anything.

Marian was already crazy, if he joined the Blood Oath League again, then in the future, wouldn't he have to take the entire Blood Oaths against Hector! Cerdic also thought of this, and could not help but curse, "Is Marian's brain caught in the door, how dare he go to the Blood Oath League!" Ramm didn't say anything, but he knew in his heart.

Marian was desperate and Hector himself had come to get her, so it was a no-win situation.

In that case, why not take a gamble.

In betraying Hector, Marian had no lower limit.

Cerdic was still there cursing.

Ramm gave him a look that signalled him to be quiet.

Then to Hector he said, "Prince, you can't let Marian into the Blood Pledge League."

Hector looked puzzled.

It was good that the person he had groomed had ended up on the wrong side of him!

She was so naive to think that the Bloodshed could protect her.

In Hector's eyes, murderous intent filled the air and called out to Ramm.

"You take your men over there personally and intercept the man, no matter the cost!"

Hearing Hector's cold tone, both men knew that Hector was angry.

Ramm immediately said solemnly, "Yes, Prince."

At these words, Cerdic volunteered, "I'll come too."

One more person, one more guarantee.

Marian, take care of yourself.

The Karan Group.

Bergerian was the first to learn that Hector was not dead, and was first angry, then panicked.

Now that he had taken in the man who had betrayed Ken and assassinated the Grand Prince of the Rogers Group, there was bound to be wild reprisals.

Moreover, Hector had always had an extremely ruthless reputation on the outside.

He would rather avoid it than run into this demon.

Bergerian immediately ordered his men to arrange a route and leave immediately.

After giving the order, Bergerian looked at Marian with an unpredictable expression and said quietly, "Are you really sure you want to leave with me? If you leave, there will be no turning back." He wasn't being kind, of course, but he was just making sure Marian meant it.

Hector had always been one to get rid of traitors.

If Marian couldn't hold his own and turned against him again, wouldn't he have gotten himself a scourge back?

The man's eyes lingered on Marian's face, not sparing her the slightest expression.
