Love Comes To Me
Chapter 705: You won't go?

Hearing the suspicion in his words, Marian said calmly, "I have decided."

Bergerian was noncommittal and only asked, "I hear Hector thinks very highly of you ..."

Marian seemed reluctant to mention it, however, interrupting, "That was then, now I'm just a fugitive who betrayed him."

After a pause, she added: "Besides, it's not me that Hector values, it's my ability, and he would have done the same for any other person." So there was nothing special about her.

Once she thought she was unique, and then she broke her heart over it before she came to her senses.

Bergerian looked at her thoughtfully.

After a moment he smiled, "You have chosen wisely, and there is no one else in the world who would dare to take you in again, except me here."

"Many thanks." Marian said quietly, "Don't worry, Mr. Bergerian, the past has nothing to do with me anymore, and now I just want to get back at Hector!" How much I loved him then, how much I hate him now.

As she said this, Marian did not hide her hatred in any way.

Bergerian observed for a long time, "Then we will go now."

Now that Hector was enraged, Bergerian was ready to take Marian to an island for a while.

The car hit the highway when suddenly the driver shrieked, "Someone is chasing us from behind!"

Bergerian looked in the rear view mirror and there was a Hummer coming at excessive speed.

It had come so fast, Hector, and it was just as thunderous as the rumours said.

The Hummer was going very fast, and at this rate, it would soon catch up.

Bergerian pondered for a moment and then said decisively, "Speed up and get away from them!"

Sensing Bergerian's movement, Cerdic punched the seat of the car and said, "They've spotted us, come on, let's go after them."

The man driving the car was one of their brothers and was annoyed to death by him.

Ramm saw this and stopped him, "That's enough, don't interfere with Bunte's driving." Cerdic sniffed and settled down for a moment, but couldn't resist commanding again.

"Hit it, hit it, hit it, I don't believe Bergerian is going faster than me!"

The two cars were still a dozen metres apart, and unless they could fly, they couldn't hit each other.

Seeing that the car was right in front of him, but still out of reach, Cerdic was desperate and asked Ramm, "Where are we going in this direction?" Ramm said calmly, "The beach."

"Shit, he's trying to run, what a wimp, I'd respect him as a man if he was fighting us for real, but I didn't think he was a wimp!"

Ramm ignored him, looked at Bunte and said in a deep voice, "Bunte, don't go up there, stop them!"

Bunte said yes, stepped on the accelerator and steered sharply, in one fluid motion, causing the two cars to crash into each other.

Bergerian was driving a Mercedes, bulletproof, rebuilt by himself, and better than the average car.

The Hummer only shook the car violently, so it did not overturn.

Inside, Bergerian hit his head on the window glass and was blinded by the impact.

Marian didn't fare much better, as he was so shaken that he threw up his overnight meal.

When she was a little better, she was aware of a snake of eyes falling on her.

Horrified, she looked up, only to see Bergerian averting his gaze as if nothing had happened. Inside, something inexplicably unnerved her.

The Mercedes wasn't much better, except that the driver was a bit dizzy and drove crookedly.

Luckily, the marina was just ahead.

Cerdic looked out of the window and saw the azure sea, with a yacht anchored in the sea, and said with some urgency, "We can't let them get on the yacht."

If they got out to sea, the chances of chasing them back were greatly reduced.

With a creak, the Mercedes braked sharply and stopped by the dock.

Bergerian got out, looked behind him and in an anxious tone instructed the driver and and the bodyguard in the front seat, "You stay behind and never let anyone catch up!" Ramm arrived later and just met up with the two bodyguards and without a word they struck.

Both of Bergerian's bodyguards were black and very large, the kind that could send a slightly weaker man flying with one punch.

They moved their muscles and ran aggressively towards Ramm and Cerdic.

"I haven't tasted blood in a long time, so I'll have some fun with you fools today!" Cerdic laughed sarcastically.

Ramm said in a deep voice, "Don't be rash."

"Understood."

Ramm looked ahead and saw that Bergerian had reached the end of the dock with Marian and would soon be boarding the yacht, and was anxious.

"Bunte, Cerdic, I'll leave these two to you, I'll go after Marian and Bergerian."

With that, Ramm dashed forward like a gust of wind, surprisingly fast.

Bergerian's side noticed Ramm coming after him and panicked a little, but he didn't stop.

A few more steps, a few more steps to get on the yacht...

Bergerian heard the sound of breaking air and instinctively tilted his head.

Bergerian heard the sound of breaking air and instinctively tilted his head. But to his surprise, he was still hit, and a sharp pain shot through the back of his head. His eyes went black, he was bleeding, he was bleeding!

Although Bergerian was a powerful man in the Karan Group and was inextricably linked to the Blood League, he was actually very timid and was most afraid of death. At this moment, seeing his own blood, a face twisted up.

He suddenly looked up at Marian, only to see her about to board the yacht, and his face suddenly turned fierce.

He yanked Marian off and said fiercely, "What are you running for?"

Marian pretended to be alarmed, "Mr Bergerian, you're hurt, let's get on board."

At this Bergerian sneered and looked at Ramm who had already arrived, how could he get on board?

Bergerian calmed down and said, "Marian, I asked you earlier if you really wanted to join the Karan Group and you answered yes, didn't you?"

Seeing the sinister smile on Bergerian's face, Marian had a bad feeling in her heart.

But still, cautiously, she replied, "Yes, I have absolute loyalty and admiration for Mr. Bergerian."

Having received the desired answer, Bergerian smiled hideously.

"Good, now is the time for you to show your loyalty, go on, go and stop your once good companion."

Marian's heart thudded, but he said nothing.

Dropping his eyes, he hid the hatred that lay beneath them.

Inside, Marian was far from calm on the outside.

Across from her was Ramm, the Ramm she had never defeated.

Of all the Dark Guards, Ramm was the captain and had the highest force rating.

If she didn't have to, Marian really didn't want to take on her.

Seeing her hesitation, Bergerian asked unkindly, "What, you refuse to go?"

Marian tugged at the corner of her mouth and whispered, "No, I would like to serve Mr. Bergerian."

Once colleagues who had fought side by side, they had never expected to meet again in such a way. Walking up to Ramm, Marian flashed the dagger in her hand.

There was no other way, facing Ramm, having a weapon would give her peace of mind than not having one. Although, it was hard to win against Ramm like this.
