Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 713: Would you like me today
"Thanks Mum." Rowson said gratefully.
"That boy, what thanks or no thanks to me, follow your heart, you can't go wrong, well, mum won't take up any more of your time, so get some rest early tonight." With that, Mrs Darlington got up and patted him soothingly on the shoulder before walking back to her room.
After Mrs Darlington had left, Rowson sat alone on the sofa for a while longer, looking through the chats with Eloise on his phone.
He had sent her large messages of concern, but her replies had always been brief.
I don't know when I'll ever get a response to such a giving relationship.
Rowson felt a little bitter when he thought about it and closed his phone, his mind replaying her smiling face.
So what if she didn't like him, as long as he could tie her to him.
North District.
It was a time of laughter and joy at Ken's house.
Solomon was back to his usual lively self, making deliberately funny noises from time to time to amuse those present.
He went back into his little toy room and brought out the robot that he had treasured for so long.
"Look, Grandma, he can walk on his own. This was a birthday present from Daddy last year."
Solomon said, directing the robot to do a few more moves in a very funny way that made Hector's mother laugh.
Looking at Solomon's forehead with a thin layer of sweat, Hector's mother couldn't help but ask, "My dear grandson, are you hungry now, Grandma will have someone cook for you." Solomon thought hard and then said, "I want to eat Grandma's cola chicken wings, and roast pork, and pine nut corn!"
At Solomon's words, Hector's mother's eyes narrowed with laughter and she said, "Good, good, since Solomon wants to eat Grandma's cooking, then Grandma will make it for you." Now that Solomon was back to his old self, even if he wanted a star in the sky, Hector's mother would not hesitate to pick it for him.
Hector's father followed Hector's mother into the kitchen to help with something.
When Solomon was left in the living room with the Rupert's, Rupert saw how excited Solomon was and asked, "Solomon, when are you going to France, my aunt and I will take you there." "Tomorrow, I'm going to see Mummy tomorrow, I haven't packed yet!"
With that, Solomon stomped upstairs and began to unpack his little suitcase.
As the two downstairs watched Solomon's cheerful appearance, Rupert couldn't help but sigh.
"It seems that only his sister-in-law can fit in Solomon's heart, it's hard for anyone else to get inside his heart, this mother-son blood relationship is really amazing."
Aisly sniffed and looked closely at the two in the kitchen and looked at Rupert with a slight warning.
"Right now Mum and Dad don't know about Sister-in-law being Solomon's real mother, so keep your voice down."
Rupert hurriedly kept his mouth shut; he had indeed forgotten about it.
If Hector's mother knew that Eloise was Solomon's real mother, she would have to go along with her this time.
It was likely to cause Hector unnecessary problems.
In the next moment Rupert was back to his impudent self and said playfully, "My Aisly has thought of everything, let me give you a kiss."
When he did, Aisly punched him in the face and went to help in the kitchen.
Rupert was hurt, but didn't dare to say anything back, so he obediently followed Aisly into the kitchen.
Later in the evening, the meal was ready and Solomon ate it to his heart's content.
As Solomon's appetite increased, so did the appetites of the others at the table.
Solomon picked up a chicken wing and put it in his bowl, tasted it and said with surprise, "Grandma, this cola chicken wing is delicious, Solomon is so happy." Hector's mother smiled with relief and put another chicken leg into Solomon's bowl.
"Solomon should eat as much as he likes so that he can grow taller and protect his mummy and sister."
At the mention of Eloise and Sweety, Solomon was immediately motivated and said, gesturing with his little fist, "Don't worry, Grandma, I will grow very tall and no one can bully my mummy or sister."
Seeing his serious look, Rupert knocked Solomon on the head and said deliberately, "Look at you now, you're so skinny and weak, and you're still protecting your sister, even you need someone else to protect you." When Rupert looked down on him, Solomon was not convinced and raised his head, "Don't look down on me, I can protect my sister, and when I grow up, I'm going to study for an MBA to help daddy with his work!" At such a young age, she had a very long-term plan.
He and his brother are so far apart, but now Solomon is trying to catch up with him.
Hector's mother added, "Solomon is a lot better than your uncle, who was playing games and wearing girls' skirts when he was seven."
Rupert was embarrassed by his mother's revelation, "Mum, I thought we agreed not to talk about this!"
Hector's mother gave him a blank look, clearly indicating that he was bullying his own grandson.
For a moment Rupert was in tears, his position in the family was getting lower and lower these days.
Dinner was a joyous affair and the happiest the Rogers family had been for some time.
The following morning, Solomon got up early, washed up and changed his clothes.
Immediately afterwards he went and knocked on Rupert's door.
"Uncle, get up, you're going to France with me today."
Inside, Rupert was still asleep when he heard Solomon's voice and sat up with a start.
He had almost forgotten about the big event.
At that moment, Aisly came up from downstairs and dragged Rupert straight out of the room, causing him to wail.
After breakfast, Solomon said goodbye to Hector's parents and joined the Ruperts at the airport.
More than ten hours later, the plane landed smoothly in France.
Solomon, with Aisly in one hand and Rupert in the other, couldn't wait to get to the hospital.
But sitting in the car, he couldn't help but feel a little timid.
"Auntie, do you think Mummy will like me today?" Solomon enquired nervously.
Aisly couldn't help but lose her smile and stroked Solomon's head, reassuring him, "Mummy will definitely like Solomon, after all, our Solomon is so handsome today."
With Aisly's words, Solomon was no longer timid and wanted to see his mummy as soon as possible.
The car soon arrived at the hospital and before it even stopped, Solomon opened the door and ran straight down.
