Love Comes To Me
Chapter 741: Going to see Daddy

Eloise's words, however, were interpreted by the little girl as meaning something else.

A childish smile appeared on Sweety's face, "So Mommy wants to see Daddy, so let's go play with Daddy and Brother!"

Eloise couldn't argue with Sweety's words, and she had indeed been thinking about Hector.

The JS Group has given its latest response and all it needs now is time.

As long as time slowly washes away these things, Hector's company should remain the same as before.

Thinking that and looking at the little girl's smile made Eloise feel better for the most part.

The gloom in my heart also disappeared in this moment.

Looking at Sweety's fleshy cheeks, I couldn't resist giving her a gentle squeeze and rubbing her little head.

The sun shone into the house and reflected on Sweety's cheeks as she played dutifully in Eloise's arms for a while, then tilted her head and asked, "Mummy, when can we go to see my brother and daddy? I don't want to stay at home and have no one to keep me company."

Eloise couldn't help but laugh and gently scratched her nose, explaining, "Sweety, be a good girl, your daddy is probably still busy at this time of day."

"Then ask Daddy if we can go to him."

Sweety's soft voice reached Eloise's ears, like sticky rice balls covered in sugar.

Seeing Eloise's hesitation, Sweety blinked her big eyes at Eloise and said in a soft, pampered voice, "OK, just ask, Mummy."

Faced with Sweety's pampering, Eloise couldn't really refuse and had to compromise, "Fine, fine, my little ancestor is really scared of you."

Glancing at the time, Eloise paused for a moment.

He'll be busy now, I guess, dealing with all kinds of media and negative influences.

But, turning to see Sweety's expectant eyes, Eloise picked up the phone and dialed for a video call.

Her thought was that if Hector didn't have time to see them, it would be good to have Sweety video him for a few minutes.

In the empty office, Hector's back was straight, his shirt casually pulled up to his arm, a bespoke pen in his slender fingers, his head bowed as he worked on a document, exuding an air of a stranger. Hearing the phone ringing, he couldn't help but frown.

When he saw the caller, however, he curled his lips gently, "Eloise, what's up?"

At the sound of his voice, Eloise spoke cautiously, "Are you busy?"

"It's okay, it's not very busy."

Hector's voice is low and magnetic, with a hint of imperceptible softness.

Looking at that missed face, Eloise's heart churned.

He was still wearing the same clothes he had seen himself in earlier, and you could see how busy he had become.

With two dark bruises under his eyes and a greenish tinge emerging from his jaw, he appears to have a very tired face.

Eloise's heart ached and she blamed herself.

Hector looked at this reaction from Eloise and knew that she must be thinking about something again.

Adjusting his mind, he turned the conversation directly to Sweety, "Where's Sweety?"

Sweety poked her head out at the sound of Hector's voice, with a smile on her face that looked like it was going to kill you, "Daddy, Sweety's here!"

Eloise looked at Sweety like this and couldn't help but feel amused.

She then adjusted the phone to an angle so that the two could see each other better.

A warmth crossed Eloise's heart as she watched them chat.

After speaking with Sweety, the pressure was somewhat lifted off Hector at this point. Amused by Sweety's naughty face.

Such a soft and sticky little guy, I wish I could hold him in my arms right now.

After talking to Hector some more, Sweety made a fuss about wanting to go to Daddy.

Hearing the little girl say that she missed herself, Hector instantly felt his heart melting.

Seeing the tiredness on Hector's face, Eloise said shyly, "You must be very busy, Sweety and I will leave you alone for now."

But the little girl didn't agree with Eloise at all and said, "No, no, no, I want to go to Daddy."

Hector smiled, "It's okay, you bring Sweety over, I'm pretty much done with the company, this will be a good time to take a break."

Hearing him say so, Eloise still asked with some unease, "Will it affect you? It's a special period after all."

Hector was unconcerned, "Don't worry about it, I can handle it, do you need me to send a driver over?"

"No, we'll just take a taxi there."

With those words, Eloise hung up the phone.

Sweety's heart bursts with joy when she hears that she can go to Daddy's and bounces around pouting with Eloise.

Eloise tidied up briefly with Sweety and sat at her dressing table, covering her haggard look a little.

After all, Hector already has to deal with so much stress now, and Eloise doesn't want him to have to worry about her.

On the way over, Eloise looked out of the window and always felt something different.

The rest of my eyes glanced at Sweety, a soft little girl, and saw the joy in her eyes at the prospect of seeing her daddy, and my heart grew soft. The car pulled up steadily in front of JS Group and Eloise got out with Sweety in her arms.

As she was trying to figure out how to get into the building, Thomas appeared and waved towards her and Sweety.

"Miss Eloise, this way."

Seeing Thomas, Sweety waved her little hand at Thomas, "Hello Uncle Thomas."

"Sweety is good."

Thomas responded softly to Sweety.

Eloise smiled shyly and walked over, "You don't have to come down and pick us up."

It didn't take much thinking to realise that Thomas was here waiting specifically for them, mother and son.

"It's been a bit of a mess at the company gates lately and the Prince is not at ease with you guys."

Thomas' eyes indicated a short distance away and Eloise followed them, spotting some people who had the heart of a thief approaching.

The eyes froze for a moment, and it quickly dawned on them what these people were here for.

They must have been sent by the media. The red wine allergy story was a big deal, and they were hovering here, probably trying to dig up some useful information.

At such a critical time, a few random pictures and some text can turn into hot news.

But these people only dare to stay far away and don't come very close.

After all, they are also afraid of the numerous security guards at the entrance.

"Are things okay on your side of the company?"

Eloise asked worriedly.
