Love Comes To Me
Chapter 742: Listen to you

Thomas froze and quickly, reacted to what Eloise was asking.

He smiled bitterly and said in a deep voice, "Not very well, but it will hold." Eloise's eyes darkened a few notches at his words.

Somehow, it was as if a boulder was weighing down on my heart, stifling it.

Even the Darlington Group winery couldn't wait to draw a line in the sand with the JS Group for their own benefit, and I'm sure the same can be said for the other partners.

Thomas looked at Eloise's expression and sighed in disbelief.

"Now the problem is the president, you help persuade him."

"What's wrong with him?" Eloise looked at Thomas suspiciously, her eyes revealing a worried expression.

Sweety's round eyes followed suit.

"Since the accident, the president has been working continuously for a long time, he refuses to rest no matter how much he is persuaded, I am afraid that his body cannot bear it, you can persuade him later, he is more obedient to you." Eloise nods, her brow furrowing slightly.

In between speaking, the three men had walked up to the office door.

The door to Hector's office was half-buried and through the gap Eloise saw the side of his face.

His brow was slightly furrowed, as if he was discussing something with the other side.

A few moments of weariness pass over the handsome face, and the lower jawline is taut.

"President." Thomas knocked symbolically on the door.

Hector lifted his eyes and met Eloise's gaze.

The somewhat reddened eyes are tinged with a bit of tenderness and affection.

As if they had found a harbour at once, the coldness was lifted.

"Think about whether you want to continue working together, let's leave it at that for today and we'll contact you next time."

He spoke to the person on the other side of the video and cut the call immediately afterwards.

Then, looking fondly at Eloise, Hector smiled softly, "Here it comes."

"Hmm." Eloise nodded and walked towards the inside.

"Daddy!"

Sweety's eyes lit up as soon as she saw Hector.

Little legs stirred up in the air, signalling for Eloise to let her down.

As soon as Eloise's hand was released, she immediately ran towards Hector.

A smile lifted the corners of Hector's mouth and he bent down to pick up the little girl in one hand.

The little girl barks at his face and hangs on to Hector like a wombat.

In no time at all, it had wrinkled his shirt.

In a soft tone of voice, she pouted, "Daddy, Sweety misses you so much, you don't even come to see Sweety." The softness in Hector's heart was struck at once, and all that remained in his eyes was a million warm feelings. "I'm sorry, it's Daddy's fault."

He dotingly stroked the little girl's head and played with her immediately afterwards.

Eloise looked at the little girl glued to Hector and inquired helplessly, "Are we interrupting your work like this?" "No."

Hector didn't even hesitate for a moment.

The next second, Eloise's eyes gazed at Hector and she opened the door again, "I hear things aren't going too well on this side of the office." At this Hector gave a slight pause and looked aside at Thomas.

The eyes were cool.

Thomas hastily and sheepishly averted his gaze.

"I'll make the tea."

Scrambling to replace an excuse to bolt.

Hector shifted his gaze back to Eloise's face and reassured her, "Don't worry, it's not that serious, I can't be bothered with that, don't worry." Eloise looked at him half-heartedly.

Thomas, who was eavesdropping from outside the door, couldn't help but shake his head.

Because of this incident, the Group's reputation has been seriously damaged.

A number of suppliers have come over to say they want to cancel their cooperation.

Even when Hector himself stepped in to negotiate with them, things broke with a feeling of being out of control.

Eloise had no choice but to believe it as she listened to Hector's sure tone of voice.

Under the impression that Hector is indeed too powerful.

Subconsciously, Eloise felt that he should be able to handle everything.

The eyes darted around and fell on Hector's desk.

Swept up next to the meal.

The complete package was set aside, not even torn from the bag, and at a glance it was not ready to be eaten.

Eloise remembered what Thomas had just said and became increasingly worried.

His eyes were still red and bloodshot, and he hadn't closed them in who knows how long.

Eloise pursed her lips, pointed a slender finger at a side meal and asked, "Did you not even eat breakfast?"

Hector was coaxing Sweety to play, sniffing, stunned for a moment, then said faintly, "No appetite."

Eloise sniffed, a little exasperated.

"You have to eat even if you don't have an appetite, right? If you don't eat properly, how can you work properly if you're exhausted?"

The tone of voice could not help but be a little impulsive, and at first glance it sounded like a reprimand.

The little girl in Hector's arms was taken aback and looked at Eloise with bewilderment, a little overwhelmed.

But as the words fell on his ears, Hector felt only a slow stream of warmth flowing through his heart.

With a smile on his lips, he looks up at Eloise, his eyes shining brightly.

Embarrassed by the look he gave her, Eloise realised that she hadn't sounded quite right.

She rubbed her neck and explained lustily, "Ahem, I mean, you'll have a bad stomach too if you do that a lot, and you need to eat and rest regularly to do that, right Sweety." Sweety was suddenly shouted at and asked back in confusion, "Huh? What's Mummy talking about?"

Eloise held her forehead, feeling instantly embarrassed by the scene, her cheeks tinged with a suspicious blush.

"Listen to you."

Hector suddenly laughed softly and reached out to move the lunchbox in front of him, opening the bag in three clicks.

Then unwrapped his chopsticks and ate slowly and deliberately.

Eloise froze, not expecting Hector to be so cooperative and eat when he said he would.

"Was it good? Daddy."

At the smell, Sweety swallowed and looked up at Hector bashfully.

Hector smiled, "It's okay, Sweety want a taste?"

With those words, Sweety turned her head and asked Eloise, "Mummy, is that okay?"

"Only a little." Eloise snapped back, responding.

"Just give her this, not too much, she's just eaten a lot."

He said looking at the contents of Hector's lunch box and pointed to one of them for Hector to feed to the little girl.

Thomas smiled when he came in and saw the scene.

Surely only Miss Eloise could have persuaded the Prince.

What he had tried so hard to get Hector to listen to, Eloise said one word and it worked.

The heart is quite helpless and at the same time very relieved.

If he doesn't eat again, he's really afraid that Hector will collapse from exhaustion at any moment.

"Miss Eloise, have some tea."

"Thanks." Eloise thanked with a light smile.

After eating, a few more people chatted for a while.

Sweety fell asleep in Eloise's arms during this, tired of playing.

By the time Eloise had slowed down, she realised that it was already afternoon.

After glancing at Hector, she stood up and spoke, "It's been too long, why don't I take Sweety back first."
