Love Comes To Me
Chapter 746: Check it out immediately

What he didn't understand was how Eloise could have this virus on her body.

Who gave her the injection and when was it given?

Of all this, he knew nothing.

Just the thought that, unbeknownst to him, Eloise had suffered these things made Hector clench his teeth in hatred.

With a sullen face, he strides forward.

Behind, Thomas needed to trot to keep up.

As he rounded a corner Thomas spoke up and asked, "Prince, what next?"

Hector kept his footing, the corners of his mouth curled grimly, "Find out who injected Eloise with the bacteria and I'm going to cut him to pieces!"

At his words, Thomas was horrified, "Prince, do you already know who did this?"

A glint of depression swept under his eyes as Hector's thin lips parted slightly and he spat out through clenched teeth, "Rowson."

The words fell, and Thomas was a little puzzled.

Could it be him? He didn't like Miss Eloise very much, why would he do something so bad?

At that, Hector explained with a sombre expression, "Rowson has the most contact with Eloise and the man is in medical research, Eloise is unsuspecting of him and it would be easy to poison Eloise." When he said that, Thomas actually thought it made sense.

Hector's eyes suddenly sharpened and he said coldly, "Thomas, get on it immediately, Rowson is definitely up to something."

"Yes." Thomas answered, but did not leave immediately.

"What else is going on?" Hector's face was cold.

Glancing at the wards in front of him, Thomas hesitated, "Mr Hector, what about Miss Eloise's side?"

The hospital had never had a case like this before and didn't know where to start, but it certainly wasn't a good idea to leave it like this.

Thomas' words were not without merit, and the corners of Hector's mouth pursed into a sombre line, his expression full of gloom.

Hector's aura was now so powerful that Thomas took one look at it and felt a little overwhelmed, hastily avoiding it and proposing, "Prince, I have a suggestion, why don't we bring Almeida back to help Miss Eloise heal, Almeida, the healer is still very reliable."

Almeida is a ghostwriter in the medical world and is almost an authority in this field of medicine.

Leading medical schools around the world want to bring him in to sit on their staff.

With him on hand, he is naturally far more reliable than other doctors.

He is currently abroad for further studies, but it is not difficult to get someone back, it is just a phone call away.

When he thought of Almeida, Hector's heart was suddenly at ease and he said to Thomas, "Okay, tell him right away to drop what he's doing and come back as soon as possible." "Yes."

Thomas was ordered to leave.

After a short walk down the hospital promenade, Hector did not immediately return to his ward, but came outside, leaned against the wall and smoked a cigarette with his head down.

The smoke rings that he exhaled lingered around him as if they were his sorrow.

Looking at the azure sky, Hector's mood was unsettled for a long time.

A cigarette was smoked out and he waited until the smell of smoke had cleared from his body before returning to the ward.

By this time Eloise had woken up and a nurse was nearby to take her temperature.

Hector stepped up next to her and tried to suppress the tyrannical factor inside him, but Eloise felt it anyway.

When the nurse left, she inquired with concern, "What's wrong with you, are you in a bad mood?"

Hector shook his head and looked at Eloise to say something.

The shadowy Eloise beneath his look was unnoticed, just a little childishly complaining, "I'm so physically tired, it feels like I've climbed several mountains. Obviously I haven't done anything, why is my body so uncomfortable." Hearing her say that, Hector's expression darkened even more.

Not controlling the emotion under his eyes, a hint of solemnity leaked out.

Eloise saw it and gasped, "Hector what happened to you?"

Seeing her suspicion, Hector took a deep breath to hide all the gloom.

Tugging at the corner of her mouth, she said softly, "Nothing, just remembering a little something."

At this he paused and looked hesitantly at Eloise.

"Eloise, do you know why you have a fever this time?"

After dwelling on it for a while, he decided to tell her the truth.

After all, it was her own body and she had a right to know.

Eloise was a bit puzzled and wanted to say that it was normal if it was just a cold, right?

After all, weather changes and the like can cause changes in the body.

But seeing the look on Hector's face, she suddenly felt that it couldn't be that simple.

She couldn't help but sit up straighter and glance at Hector with a slightly more serious look, "What was it about?"

"You've been running a high fever because a germ has appeared in your body." Hector said in a hoarse voice.

It just feels like reality is cruel and has to put everything bad on Eloise's shoulders.

Eloise, however, didn't react to the germ's meaning and just oohed and aahed.

It's normal for a cold to be caused by a virus, she hasn't noticed anything different in between.

Seeing her look of bewilderment and innocence, Hector's heart felt like it was being ripped out of him, and it hurt like hell.

Holding back his heartache, Hector said, word for word, "Eloise, I mean, inside you, there are bacteria that normal people don't have."

...

Eloise looked at Hector for a long time before slowly saying, "Say that again, I didn't understand you."

Doubt and disbelief appeared in her eyes.

"Someone has injected bacteria into your body and this fever is because of the bacteria at work."

He tried to make things as simple as possible.

Eloise listened for a long moment before she froze and said, "No way, what kind of person would inject bacteria into my body and how come I didn't know anything about it." "The person who injected the bacteria probably did so with your extreme trust in him."

Said Hector with a condensed look on his face.

"As to why I didn't feel it at the time, it's because of this bacteria, which doesn't react in the short term and only shows up over time."

Eloise's mouth dropped open at the words, the disbelief in her eyes replaced by astonishment, "What will happen to me then?"

At this point she was inexplicably a little panicked and tried to brace herself to sit up, but was so weak that she collapsed onto the bed at once.

Hector rushed forward to help her up, his eyes full of pain, "Where did you fall, does it hurt?"

Eloise couldn't care less about the pain now, all she could think about was the ridiculous truth that Hector had told her.

These episodes, which only happen in TV dramas, have come to life for her.

It was a little hard for her to take in for a while.

The next second, she slowly pushed Hector away and looked earnestly into his face.

"Hector, tell me, what happens at the end of the day when the bacteria stay in my body, do I die?"

At the word "death", Hector's brow furrowed fiercely and he said firmly, "No!"

Although the doctor said there was no cure for the moment, he was not going to let that happen.
