Love Comes To Me
Chapter 745: Endangering Lives

Seeing the eager look in Hector's eyes, the doctor reassured him, "Mr Hector, we can't draw any conclusions yet, we have taken your wife's blood for further analysis.

The results will probably be available tomorrow, don't worry, our hospital is also taking this situation very seriously now and will do our best to replace out, so don't worry." The doctor's words did not make Hector's face look one iota better.

It was as if a huge stone was pressing down on his heart, making it difficult for him to catch his breath.

He has never felt as bad as he does now when there is a big problem in his business, and when it comes to Eloise, he is always distraught.

Hector's eyes were pained as he returned to the ward and looked at the person in the hospital bed.

This look fell on Thomas' eyes and he could not help but be suspicious.

But, as there are now two little ones in the way, Thomas doesn't say much.

"Daddy, what did the doctor say? When will Mummy wake up?"

Solomon tugged at Hector's coat in uneasy enquiry.

At that, Hector said with a bitterness in his throat, forcing a smile to Solomon's concerned face, "The doctor said that Mummy needs to rest for a while now. Currently running a fever, let's wait until tomorrow to see, don't worry, mummy will be fine, be good and don't disturb mummy's sleep."

Holding the two little ones in his arms, his arms unconsciously tightened.

Hector speaks in a voice that is so low that it is uncomfortably heavy.

However, the two little ones did not take much notice, nodding solemnly and staying in Hector's arms without speaking.

When he glanced at the bed again, Hector's eyes couldn't help but flush.

He really wished he could transfer the pain from her to himself.

Don't want to see her get hurt again.

Seeing this, Thomas quietly retreated from the ward, leaving space for the family of four.

Night falls quietly and twilight is pale.

The neon lights on the street corners gradually twinkled and sparkled throughout the city.

After dinner, the two little ones played in the other bed for a while, got tired and unconsciously fell asleep snuggled up together.

Thomas, who had returned from outside, tucked them in and went over to Hector.

Hector was seen gazing at Eloise with a worried look on his face, his pupils dark and dull.

Thomas could not hold back and lowered his voice to ask, "Prince, what is going on and is Miss Eloise really just having a common cold?" Hector sniffed and shook his head heavily as his fingertips trembled slightly, "She's been injected with some kind of germ."

Low and hoarse, Hector took a long time to get the full words out of his throat, his eyes pained.

Thomas froze for a moment.

The brain raced before revealing an expression of astonishment.

So now wouldn't someone be deliberately victimising Miss Eloise?

With injections, then unknown germs...

Very worrying indeed.

"This sort of thing would be done by someone close to you." Thomas said with a grimace.

After hearing Thomas' words, Hector's expression became even more sombre.

His fists clenched slightly and his eyes grew sharper and sharper.

He didn't care who it was, if anything happened to Eloise, he would make that person pay for it a thousand times over!

Seeing Hector's scarlet eyes, Thomas knew instantly that a bloodbath was inevitable.

I can't help but sigh for the two, it's really one thing after another.

I don't know when I'll be able to keep the clouds and see the moon.

That night, Hector sat at Eloise's bedside and stayed up all night watching over her.

Take Eloise's temperature every other day.

Because the germs are currently unknown, the hospital does not dare to prescribe medication indiscriminately and can only take physical cooling.

Hector then changed the towels over and over again, repeating the same action no less than a hundred times.

By the early hours of the morning, Hector was relieved when Eloise's burning red cheeks showed some signs of easing and her temperature subsided a little. The next day, the doctor's side came back with the results and asked someone to come and inform Hector.

Hector took a deep breath and struck out towards the doctor's office.

There was not a hint of expression on his face, his hand clenched into a fist.

The doctor saw his face and was inexplicably a little nervous.

Mr Hector, the results of our hospital's analysis have come back and this bacteria in the patient's body, at this point, appears to be fine.

But the bacteria itself is harmful and can damage the body's functions; it majors on a person's immune system and over time, I'm afraid ... it can be life-threatening."

At those words, the temperature in the office dropped a steep ten degrees.

The doctor was so overwhelmed by the intense pressure that he could not lift his head, his back was covered in cold sweat and he hardly dared to look up at Hector's face.

Hector's body was unleashed with a steady stream of violence as he heard the words that would endanger his life.

The veins on his forehead burst out, and the hostile aura around him chilled people!

Seeing him in this state, the doctor was shocked into a sweat and hurriedly said, "Mr Hector, calm down."

However, at this point Hector was not listening, his fists were clenched and his knuckles made a crisp sound.

The whole man seemed to be mad as if he had suddenly slammed his fist hard on the table, shaking the papers on it and bouncing up with it.

"Whatever you do, heal her!"

He squeezed the phrase out of his teeth almost word for word.

The doctor's face was bitter; this was a difficult request.

After all, the germ in her body now has no precedent in the country.

Seeing that Hector was about to lose control, Thomas stepped forward and said in a calming voice, "Prince, calm down, this is a hospital."

At the moment Hector's chest was heaving violently and Thomas was in agony as he faced the pressure he was releasing, but still said calmly, "Prince, the most important thing now is to replace a way to heal Miss Eloise." With some reassurance, Hector's raging eyes finally regained a glimmer of clarity.

Thomas sighed quietly in relief and turned to the doctor, "Doctor, since you know what the bacteria is, is there a cure?"

The doctor gave Hector a quiet look, a little embarrassed.

Hector took a deep breath and said with an expressionless face, "Just say so."

The doctor trilled, "It's like this, Mr Hector, there's no good treatment for the time being, unless a professional looks into it." Having said that, the doctor took a sagacious step back.

Sure enough, Hector's face sank like the sky before a storm, so dark that not a ray of light could be seen.

Just as the doctor was secretly worried, Hector nodded at him, lifted his feet and went out.

Thomas rushed to follow, now apprehensive and unable to guess what was going through the prince's mind.

It was just a sudden incident and Hector had difficulty in containing his emotions, but now he is stable and will not do anything out of control.
