Love Comes To Me
Chapter 748: Your people?

"Prepare the car and put off the evening, I want to go to JS Group." Rowson ordered in a deep voice as he stood in front of the floor-to-ceiling window. The assistant smiled and immediately spoke up, "Mr. Rowson, now is not the time!"

Now that Darlington Group Winery and JS Group are in an awkward relationship, if he were to be caught in the media going in and out of JS Group, it would probably cause unnecessary trouble for the company. Rowson looked over with cold eyes, and the immense sense of oppression made the assistant gulp.

He said, word for word, "Now is not the time? When she's never coming back to me, is the time?" Without waiting for the assistant to say anything else, Rowson simply flung the door open and left. By the time the assistant looked back, Rowson was long gone.

JS Group.

Rowson came to the front desk with his mask on and lowered his voice to ask, "Has a woman come by with a cute little girl in her arms in the last couple of days?"

The receptionist was compiling a list of people coming in and out and did not pay attention to the person in front of her.

Just casually said, "You mean the president's wife, she should have taken little miss and the president back long ago."

At these words, Rowson clenched his fists straight away and turned away.

After Rowson left, the receptionist's mind snapped to attention.

This man, whom she had not just noticed, revealed the actions of the president and his wife.

Hopefully it won't make much of a difference.

Ten minutes later.

A red Ferrari pulls up steadily in front of Rogers Villa.

Rowson's brow furrowed and his tone sulking as he addressed the security guard at the door, "Tell Hector to come out."

The security guard saw Rowson's overwhelming presence and immediately called the housekeeper.

"Steward, there's someone at the door looking for the prince."

"Yes, I'll tell the prince right away."

After hanging up the phone, the housekeeper immediately went upstairs to respond to Hector.

By this time Eloise was now asleep and Hector slowly closed the door to his room and walked to the window.

Looking at the red Ferrari that had stopped at the door, the man inside was looking impatiently up in his direction with unconcealed anger in his features.

Hector glanced at it and drew the curtains.

By the time he got out, Rowson was out of the car, leaning grimly against the door.

Before Hector could say anything, Rowson shouted, "Hector, you are a despicable villain, Eloise is my wife now. How dare you take her away from me! Did you have my permission?!" As he said this, the veins in the corners of Rowson's forehead rose as his anger grew.

"Heh."

Hector hooked his mouth in a smile that couldn't help but send a chill down his spine. He took one step closer to Rowson, his aura spreading as far as it could.

Rowson could clearly feel the pressure rising around him and was somewhat breathless.

"Your people? When did Eloise become your people? On the basis of your meagre favours? You really know how to hold a favour hostage."

Hector's voice was as cold as a pool of cold water, and his words were full of disdain.

The deep eyes emitted a cold, ethereal light as they stared straight at the man in front of them.

The thought that Eloise's germs might have been laid by him made Hector unable to contain his anger.

The next second, he took three steps forward and picked up Rowson by the collar, "Rowson, you don't deserve to like her, I didn't think you'd be mean enough to do it to Eloise!" Rowson hadn't reacted and was a little puzzled to hear Hector's words.

However, he was no lamb to be bullied and looked at Hector with the same cold look.

"I don't know what you're talking about and I'm warning you better be polite to me!"

"Don't you pretend, I'm telling you, I have my own solution to Eloise's virus, do you really think I dare not touch you?"

The man finished in anger and slammed a fist into Rowson's face.

Hector's strength was so great that Rowson, unprepared, stumbled and fell, his back rubbing against the ground with a burning, stinging sensation.

He couldn't help but draw in a cold breath, gradually understanding the meaning of Hector's words.

Since Hector had already established that he was involved, there was no point in explaining at this point whether he had poisoned him or not.

"You know that's good."

Rowson spoke breezily and then hooked the corners of his mouth and spoke in a prodigal manner, "Think about it, now Eloise's poison can only be cured by me."

Seeing his admission, Hector threw another punch.

The wind of the punch whistled past his ears and this time Rowson was on guard and dodged Hector's deadly blow with a sideways glance.

The next second, he glanced at Hector with a grim look in his eyes.

He hadn't wanted to make a move, but Hector had made it this far and he didn't have to give in.

The kick flies towards Hector's head, but is dodged by Hector's deftness.

The two men fought for several rounds and ended up with their faces painted.

But Rowson was eventually outmatched by Hector and is now on the ground, breathing heavily.

Hector gave him a condescending look, withdrew his gaze and spoke to the man in black beside him. "Throw it out."

With those words, he wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth and turned to enter the villa.

The butler had witnessed the fight between the two men and knew that Hector had sustained some serious injuries, so he immediately ordered his subordinates to bring out the medical kit. When he saw the maid coming with the medicine box, Hector was unhappy and tried to refuse to take it.

But the housekeeper spoke up in a serious voice: "If Miss Eloise sees this injury she may ask about it, and then..."

Before the words could be finished, Hector frowned and interrupted him.

"All right, medicate."

Immediately, the maid came forward and gently wiped the bruises on Hector's face.

In fact, this small injury was nothing to Hector and he wouldn't have been medicated at all if he hadn't been worried about Eloise.

At this point Rowson looked like a dog in distress, left outside the door by Rogers Villa's bouncers.

Blood mixed with dust from the floor stuck to his face and he looked a mess.

Staggering up from the floor, Rowson gave a stern look in the direction where Hector had just entered before turning away.

Later in the evening, Eloise, who had woken up with a good night's sleep, was staring at the ceiling.

Little did she know that Rowson had just come to see Hector and that the two had even fought.

Her thoughts were drawn back to the door as she was lost in thought.

She looked over at the sound and saw Solomon tiptoeing in.

When he saw that Eloise was awake, he climbed into bed, held Eloise's hand and asked worriedly, "Mummy, are you still uncomfortable?" Seeing the worry in Solomon's eyes, Eloise shook her head in relief.

Whispered, "Mummy's fine."

With those words, Solomon, not knowing what had occurred to him, immediately rolled out of bed and ran out.

After about five minutes, Solomon came up panting with a glass of hot milk.

Followed by a small tail.

Sweety jumped straight onto the bed after meeting Eloise.

nestled nicely in Eloise's arms and did not speak.
