Love Comes To Me
Chapter 751: Won't lose you again

Eloise couldn't help but think of her future, and her heart ached and choked at the thought that she might die.

What will Sweety do afterwards if she is no longer there ...

At the thought of it, Eloise couldn't stop the tears, and beads of tears slid down her cheeks.

It smashes down onto the quilt, staining it in a circle.

Just at that moment, Hector came to the door of the room with the milk.

Faintly hearing low sobs in the room, he frowned and pushed the door open and walked in.

By the light of the moon, the sight of Eloise's teary-eyed form as she cried pierced her heart at once.

Thinking she was unwell somewhere, she immediately took her in her arms and asked urgently, "Eloise, what's wrong? Is there something wrong with you?" Seeing Hector, Eloise was slightly stunned, sniffled and shook her head in denial, "No..."

"Then why are you crying?" Hector asked heartily.

The fear within Eloise is once again magnified by the darkness of the night.

She clutched the corner of Hector's shirt, "I'm just scared... scared I'll die like this ..."

Hector embraced her, feeling her trembling body, and was distressed. His large hands gently rubbed her face, brushing away the traces of tears.

In the moonlight, Eloise's look is extremely distressing.

Watching the tears smash down her cheeks, Hector's heart felt as if it was being torn apart bit by bit.

Hector wrapped his arms around the person in his arms and said soothingly, "Don't cry, I'm here."

With that, he leaned down slightly and kissed away the teardrops under Eloise's eyes heartily.

The sudden movement stopped Eloise's sobs for a moment, her fingers clutching the corner of Hector's coat stiffly.

Wouldn't breathe for a moment.

The man's gentle, loving movements made her heart pound violently.

The smell of testosterone filled the tip of her nose and the coolness of her breath enveloped her.

Noticing the stiffness in her body, Hector tightened his arms around her and caressed her back.

Slightly cool lips trailed slowly down the trail of tears, shallow kisses inch by inch closer and closer to Eloise's lips.

The distance between the two men was also closing further, so much so that Eloise could clearly hear the sound of his heart beating inside his chest.

In a flutter, she instinctively closed her eyes and her attempts to resist stopped.

In the next second, Hector's gentle kiss fell on two pale lips.

Fingers rubbing over her cheeks, tingling ...

This feeling is unlike anything Eloise has ever felt before.

Seeing her surrender, Hector deepened the kiss.

After a while, Eloise was a little disoriented by his kiss and her body began to go soft.

She couldn't help but murmur out, "Hector ... don't..."

The sudden sound of her voice brought Hector's sanity back to the forefront, and the sight of the flush on her face nearly caused Hector to fail to control his desire. Re-embracing her in his arms, his voice hoarse, "Eloise, remember, I have your back no matter what, and I won't let you die in the future, not to mention death. As long as I'm here, even if Death wants to steal someone from me, I'll definitely snatch you back again from his hands!"

He said it firmly, word for word, a promise that fell to the ground.

"Eloise, I'm not going to lose you again, ever."

Hector's voice grew hoarse as he uttered the words.

That feeling of losing her in the first place, once was enough.

The pain was so severe that it was worse than death, and he categorically did not want to experience it again.

The man's strong chest gave Eloise some reassurance and a warmth flowed through her heart.

Suddenly it felt like she would really be fine with Hector by her side, and her earlier worries seemed like she was overthinking things. Eloise nestled in the man's arms and whispered, "Okay, I believe you, I'll live, I still have Solomon, and Sweety ... still has you ...

Her voice was already as thin as a mosquito's, and the words that followed were so small that only she could hear them.

Hector obviously didn't notice the words "and you too" in her sentence, otherwise he wouldn't have reacted.

As the two embraced, a small doughnut stood in the doorway at some point.

Sweety, sleepily clutching a rag doll, looked at the two people in the room and said stickily, "Daddy, Mommy, Sweety wants to sleep with you." The little one rubbed her eyes, and it was clear that she was now sleepy.

Seeing this, Hector picked Sweety up straight away and put his big hands over her paws.

This little one didn't know to wear a pair of shoes when he came over and now his feet are cold.

Eloise made room for Sweety, took her from Hector's arms and touched the little girl's forehead, which was covered in sweat.

Eloise asked softly, "Did Sweety have a nightmare?"

Sweety sniffed accusingly, "I dreamt that Mummy was taken by the bad guys and Sweety couldn't save Mummy yet."

Eloise patted her on the back and said, "Sweety, don't cry, Mummy is fine here, dreams are the opposite of reality, don't take them seriously."

At these words, Hector coaxed along, "Yes Sweety, mummy is here with daddy, not one bit of harm will come to you, daddy will protect you."

Only after hearing the duo's words did the little girl nod and fall back to sleep in Eloise's arms.

After the little girl had fallen asleep, Hector tiptoed and closed the door for the pair.

Afterwards, it was time to go into Solomon's room to see if Solomon had slept properly.

Seeing that he was sleeping soundly, he did not disturb.

After tucking Solomon in, Hector walked out of the room.

He went straight into the study, turned on the computer and looked through the files sent by Almeida.

It was some of his analysis reports, but Hector couldn't read them and simply closed the computer.

You can ask him about the germs in person tomorrow.

Standing in front of the floor-to-ceiling window, Hector's heart was filled with indescribable sadness. He took out a cigarette, put his head down and puffed on it, swallowing the clouds. The cigarette at his fingertips is bright and smoky, making it hard to read his expression.

He also still remembers the time before when Eloise was pregnant with the baby and told him to stop smoking or he wouldn't be allowed to see the baby.

Hector still remembers the way she moved.

Now that she was ill and he was helpless, a deep sense of powerlessness wrapped itself around him.

The night outside the window is like a splash of ink, and the bright moonlight on Hector's tall, upright frame makes him seem extraordinarily lonely. Rubbing his faintly aching temples, Hector extinguished the cigarette burning in his hand.
