Love Comes To Me
Chapter 750: Cooperating with the Doctor

Hector also sensed she was awake and looked down at her.

Eloise was caught off guard by his gaze and immediately looked away from his hot eyes.

Looking out of the window, only after realising as an afterthought that the car had stopped, he asked in some confusion, "Is this already here?"

"Well, here it is, Almeida has gone down."

At these words, Hector checked her forehead and, replaceing that she was no longer feverish, took her out of the car.

What meets the eye is a larger research institute. Upon entering, there are all kinds of laboratories and those medical equipment, which are simply more complete than a hospital. All the people coming and going are strangers in white coats.

Looking in through the glass of the laboratory, they are very skilful and look professional.

Almeida approached them and led them to a separate room.

"Miss Eloise, hold on, let's take some blood tests."

At the end of the sentence, Almeida approached with the syringe. Hector looked at the pumping tube and his brow furrowed instantly. "What's with the blood draw again?"

His expression was somewhat sombre and he did not look very pleasant.

A tube is drawn there at the hospital, and Almeida's side has to come.

Right now she was still very weak and he didn't really want her to suffer this.

Almeida was helpless and explained with some difficulty, "That Prince, I need to see the blood samples myself to be able to better judge Miss Eloise's condition."

Despite what Almeida said, Hector was a little uncomfortable.

At this point, Eloise tugged at the corner of his shirt and smiled at him, "I'll be fine, didn't you say he was good, it's better to cooperate with the doctor at times like this." She tried to keep her tone as light as possible.

Eloise was relieved that Almeida was so cooperative.

"Prince, don't be nervous, it's only a quick draw, and I'm pretty good at drawing blood, don't worry." Almeida laughed.

"Not just once how many strokes do you want?"

Hector gave him a long look and helped Eloise to sit down next to him.

Almeida was speechless for a moment at the dislike, and muttered in a small voice, "There is no humanity in the opposite sex."

The sound was small, but Eloise heard it anyway.

She lowered her eyes in embarrassment and elbowed Hector with a gentle reminder, "Don't be so mean, Almeida is doing it for my illness too."

"Yeah, got it, I'll be gentle next time."

Hector's eyes were gentle, full of tenderness, and she was the only one in them from the beginning.

Almeida, next to her, saw this with a heavy heart.

He had heard about their rocky relationship and could only say that fate had a way of making things happen.

The incident three years ago came close to crushing Hector.

If this tragedy repeats itself, the prince may indeed be devastated, right?

With this in mind, Almeida felt a heavy burden on her shoulders and her heart hung in the air.

Once everything was ready, Almeida began examining Eloise.

During this time Almeida kept Eloise in bed as much as possible so that she would not be overworked.

But even so, after all the tossing and turning, Eloise looked a little worse for wear.

Especially after the blood draw and the vertigo, Hector was immediately worried.

Almeida had to speed things up and get the inspection process done quickly.

After a few more moments, Almeida straightened up and said to Hector, "That's fine, Prince, take Miss Eloise home and I'll let you know as soon as I have the results on my end." Hector nodded and left with a frail Eloise in his arms, rushing back to the estate.

On the way, she asked the housekeeper to ask the cook to make some nutritious food for Eloise's body.

As soon as the car arrived at the estate, Solomon came running out with Sweety in tow.

It looks like it has been waiting at home for a long time.

"Mummy, are you okay?"

"Mummy!"

The two little ones shouted out together, their eyes full of worry and nervousness.

Solomon looked at Eloise's miserable face and couldn't resist biting his pinky finger.

Solomon is older and more mature-minded than Sweety.

He had a vague feeling that the illness Mummy was suffering from was not as simple as a common cold, but he didn't know what it was.

In a small head, this would have given birth to many complex thoughts.

However, he dared not ask out loud for fear of getting the answer he feared.

Looking at the concern in the eyes of her two little ones, Eloise forced a smile, "It's okay, Mummy's just a bit tired, don't worry."

Eloise's eyes flushed as she looked at the two little blob-like creatures.

She was terrified that if she was not cured, she would really die.

If that is the case, what should Solomon and Sweety do?

Eloise's heart twisted at the thought that they would be ridiculed as wild children without a mother. Hearing the sobbing, Sweety couldn't help but look up and ask, "What's wrong with you, Mummy?" Eloise sniffed and scrambled to look away, hiding her words, "Mummy's hungry, let's go in and eat." Solomon and Sweety nodded instantly and ran at the front of the pack to open the way. Positively pulling the chair out of the way with an air of knowledge.

Once seated, the butler ordered the servants to serve the food.

It didn't take long to fill the table.

Sweety knew that Eloise was sick and sat nicely next to Solomon, eating by herself with a spoon.

Hector, on the other hand, attends to mother and daughter, continually plying Eloise's side with food.

Looking at the mountain piled up in front of her, Eloise lost her appetite after a couple of bites and looked at Hector helplessly, declining in a small voice, "Hector, I can't eat."

Her tone was soft, trying to muddle through.

Seeing her little thoughts, Hector passed the bowl of porridge to her mouth without question, coaxing softly, "Take a few more bites, to finish the porridge."

But by the end of the day, Eloise had only eaten half of the porridge and refused to open her mouth for the rest, no matter what Hector said.

Seeing her like this, Hector couldn't force her to do anything more.

Catching a glimpse of the tiredness in her eyes, Hector carried her straight to her room to rest.

Tucking the covers back in, Hector sat on the edge of the bed and looked at her intently as he whispered, "I have a few things I need to take care of, you sleep first, I'll be next door, just give me a holler and I'll come over." Eloise buried herself in the blanket and gave a breathless "mmm".

Seeing this, Hector turned off the bedside lamp and walked out.

In a daze, Eloise fell asleep.

In her dream she sees a bullied Solomon and Sweety, with a crowd of people pointing at the duo's spines and claiming they are motherless, wild children.

She sat up violently from the bed, her back already drenched in sweat.

At this time, it was a wash of night outside.

Eloise looks even more vulnerable as she sits on the bed with her legs curled up and her hands clasped around her knees.

At night, thoughts that lurk in the depths of the mind instantly sweep up and invade one's sensitive nerves.

In the darkness, the effect of fear becomes more and more powerful.
