Love Comes To Me
Chapter 761: It's about him falling over

His eyes, so deep that it was as if he could only see her alone.

Eloise was a bit of a mess and a bit of a guilty conscience.

As if sensing her embarrassment, Hector moved away and changed the subject.

"I've got people looking for a solution, so you don't have to worry."

"It should be hard, right?" Eloise asked hesitantly.

She had heard something about how even the hospital doctors were at their wits' end and that there was nothing Almeida could do before. Who else could have done it by now?

Hector was probably just trying to comfort her.

Hector smiled and soothed, "It's okay, it's hard I can replace someone too, let them figure it out, you just take care of your body."

He said this as if it was something he should do for Eloise as a matter of course, leaving Eloise completely at a loss as to what to say.

This man, is he stupid, or does he care about her too much?

Meeting the smile in his eyes, Eloise was stunned for a long moment before she whispered, "Thank you, Hector."

"What's the point of thanking me, we never need to say the word thank you between us, as long as you're well, I'll pay whatever it takes, so yeah, if you're not feeling well anywhere, make sure you tell me, okay?" Once again, he instructed.

Eloise is stunned, then nods heavily.

She will protect her body, even if not for herself, for the sake of this sentiment of Hector's, she can't afford to have the slightest accident.

That little heart in your chest is hot, like soaking in a hot spring.

After finishing his cup of coffee, Hector suggested, "I just wanted to know how you were doing today and there's not much else to do, so why don't you come home with me if you're okay after work? Mum's still waiting for you." Looking at the watch on her wrist, Eloise realised it was still early and there was nothing wrong with going back with him, so she agreed to do so.

"In that case, then I'll go and bother you for a while longer."

"With pleasure." Hector replied with a smile.

Soon the pair returned to Rogers Villa side by side.

Maryam was delighted to see Eloise and dragged her back to her room to talk to her.

Seeing this, Hector left the mother and daughter with all the time in the world, went to his room, took a shower and left Rogers Villa again.

As he started the car, he dialed Thomas' number and informed, "Go to Hall's."

Ten minutes later, the pair arrived together in a basement under a factory.

Hall remains locked in a darkened room, and due to the lack of sunlight and physical reasons, Hall's entire body radiates a sickly white colour.

No one could have imagined that one of the former three heads of the Dark Guards would have fallen to this level.

Seeing Hector and Thomas arrive, Hall cowered in the corner.

Thomas brought a chair and Hector sat down on it.

There was a long silence and none of the three spoke.

After a long moment, Hall hissed, "What are you doing here ..."

Without directly answering Hall's words, Hector said, "Marian is alive."

Hall's dull eyes suddenly lit up with surprise as he asked, "She's alive?! Where is she now?"

Hector laughed coldly at his words, "She is not under my control now and has defected to a more capable party.

If you are willing to redeem yourself and bring Marian back, I will let your sins go, and I will let Marian live as long as she is willing to accept the appropriate punishment. Even if you want to take her away with you later, I have no problem with that, depending on whether you want this opportunity or not."

At these words, Hector looked at Hall with interest, he was looking forward to Hall's answer.

After a moment of silence, Hall reared his head, moved one step in front of Hector and said forcefully, "I'm willing to go and get Marian back."

Seeing his agreement, Hector nodded in satisfaction and said, "Very well, then I'll wait to see how you perform, and I hope you won't let me down."

Having given his mission, Hector took Thomas and left.

This time the door to the room was not locked but left open, and Hall watched straight on as the pair walked away.

Seeing the light-filled door in front of him, Hall was bewildered.

Should he step out of this door or not?

Should we bring Marian back?

As an old man on Hector's staff, he knew how Hector treated traitors, half dead or not.

When he did bring Marian back, what would happen if Hector backtracked?

Wouldn't he then be pushing Marian into the abyss?

He couldn't do it.

But if not, would Marian have ended up even more miserable if he had been caught directly by Hector?

He actually knew that Hector was giving him a chance with this one, as well as giving Marian a chance.

In Hector's heart, they still have a touch of importance after all.

After a few moments of hesitation, Hall seems to have made up his mind and drags his crippled body out of the basement.

A short distance outside, the pair watched the limping figure walk out, and Thomas couldn't help but worry, "Mr Hector, what if Hall falls back after he runs into Marian too? Wouldn't we be giving Bergerian a pawn for nothing?" Hector laughed meaningfully and said, "I just want him to fall back. Since this is a game, we have to make it real, if even he doesn't fall for it himself, how else can we play?

When the time comes you send some men after Hall, but don't force him to death, I still have use for his life and he should know what I mean."
