Love Comes To Me
Chapter 779: Oh? What do you want to do?

Thomas somewhat hesitantly voiced the suspicion in his mind.

"No way." Hector denied the idea at once, mulling it over, "Rowson he shouldn't be able to harm Eloise." That kind of germ can be fatal.

No matter how much he hated him, Rowson should never have taken a swing at Eloise.

As much as he hates to admit it, Rowson loves Eloise, of that, Hector is sure.

"And what if he didn't know about it either?" Thomas retorted boldly.

Their prince is always ruled by sensuality once he gets involved with Miss Eloise.

Hearing Thomas' off-color comment, Hector frowned, "What do you mean?"

"You have just said that if Rowson and the woman were not subordinate, then most likely, the woman would have tricked Rowson into giving Miss Eloise the drug. And she has also used ecstasy on you, which means she knows something about drugs in this area."

The words fell like a heavy stone on a calm lake, sending ripples around the surface.

Hector's face sank a little and became ugly.

The fact that Eloise was injected with a germ that she didn't even notice was suspicious.

But if it was really Rowson who did it, it would all make sense.

The clear eyes were gradually tinged with a cold sullenness, and Hector's tightened eyes were covered with worry, as if he was thinking about something. Seeing that Hector did not refute his words, Thomas knew that Hector was agreeing with his deduction.

Tentatively at that moment, he asked, "Prince, should we tell Miss Eloise about this and tell her to stay away from Rowson."

Hector raised his hand and stopped Thomas' words outright, "Don't say anything yet, we have no proof of this, don't let her know."

Looking out of the window, Hector's clear black pupils were tinged with a touch of helplessness and intolerance.

He knew what a presence the Darlington family was to Eloise.

Without Rowson three years ago, Eloise wouldn't have survived as well as she did.

The Darlington family is also very close to Eloise's heart.

Not to mention, she wouldn't even suspect that Rowson was responsible for the germs in her body.

Taking a step back, she believed it, and it would have been a fatal blow to her.

The stabbing in the back of someone who considers her family could not have been more painful for her to know.

Looking at Hector's expression, Thomas also naturally knew what he was concerned about.

Although mentally I felt that now would be a good time to get Miss Eloise back from the Darlington family for good, I didn't say much.

The prince of the house would certainly not trade Eloise's suffering for her return to the Rogers family.

Thomas thought for a long time and nodded, "I know, don't worry, I won't say anything."

In between talking, there was a sudden knock at the door of the room.

"May I come in?" Eloise's soft voice came in.

Having just finished talking about Eloise, at the sound of the voice, both men stopped their conversation immediately and in unison. Hector gave a clear cough, his eyes signalling Thomas not to say the wrong thing, and raised his voice in response, "Well, come on in."

Eloise pushed the door open only when she was granted permission to do so.

Two cups of tea are brewed in my hands, the green leaves slowly spreading in the boiling water, emitting a fragrant aroma of tea.

Eloise smiled gently, "I'm interrupting your work talk, I saw you had a long chat and thought you might be thirsty so I made two cups of tea and came up." The tea she was carrying swayed slightly with her stride, watching Hector's eyes flutter.

Still, worried about her getting burned, Hector got up and walked over to her, trying to take what she was holding, "I'll do it." "I'm fine, here."

With those words, Eloise pushed one of the glasses in front of Thomas and smiled lightly.

Glancing at the twinkle in Eloise's eyes and that light smile, Thomas couldn't help but feel the same.

Suddenly he understood a little what the prince was doing; he was afraid, I think, that the light in her eyes would fall away.

After all, their Miss Eloise is really a very kind person.

Thomas took the cup of tea and gently sipped it, the first taste was bitter, then the aroma spread between his mouth and teeth.

"Thank you Miss Eloise," Thomas said gratefully.

Eloise smiled warmly, "I'll leave you to your work then, you guys talk."

Seeing Eloise's hand on the doorknob, Thomas called out to her, "No Miss Eloise, you stay here, I have things to do and will be leaving soon."

He had the good sense not to be a lightning rod.

After a few words with Hector, he hurriedly slipped out, leaving the two men alone.

Not at all expecting Thomas to leave so soon, Eloise was a little overwhelmed as she clutched her tea tray.

Outside the window, light sweeps through and the air is still, heating up in a whisper.

Eloise couldn't help but lower her eyes and stare at her toes, always feeling a little uncomfortable not talking, so she found a random lame topic, "That, Solomon and Sweety are both asleep, it seems like we're the only two left here now... What are we going to do later?"

At this, Hector's playful expression all but froze, and then he stifled a laugh, lowered his head and lowered his voice to ask Eloise back, his tone teasing.

"Oh, they're all asleep, what do you want to do?"

Eloise suddenly reacted to the fact that her words were too ambiguous!

She couldn't help but flush her ears, she turned red and shook her head desperately, "No, I didn't think anything of it, no... I didn't mean that, don't get me wrong, I mean is there a schedule for our next trip together or something like that... " But it seemed that the more she explained, the less she could tell, and Eloise felt her cheeks growing hot for a moment.

The man let out a low chuckle and petted Eloise's head dotingly, "Well, enough teasing, there is indeed something to be done."

"Hmm? What is it?" Eloise blinked in confusion.

"Got an appointment with Almeida, going to his institute later." Hector said faintly.

Eloise's expression was at first stunned, then relieved, and then flushed with a little tension.

She looked uneasily at Hector, "Is there any new developments?"

Looking at Eloise's troubled expression, Hector softly reassured her, "That's not clear yet, but after all this time, it's time to replace out.

Don't worry too much, maybe, he just wants to confirm the germs in your body again, you haven't had any discomfort these days, nothing will happen."

"I'll get my coat then, you wait for me."

Eloise sniffed and turned to run into the room, intending to follow Hector out.

Watching Eloise's back, the corners of Hector's lightly smiling mouth gradually pursed into a straight line, hoping that what Almeida brought would be good news.
