Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 786: Bad Things to Do
"Hector, you let go of me!"
Thinking it's in the Rogers family, if they see it...
Eloise couldn't resist the urge to escape.
But the man behind her ignored her protests and locked her in a strong arm.
Eloise's strength was too much to overcome and she struggled for a while before panting and quieting down.
Never mind, it does feel warm to be held like this, a thought that popped into Eloise's mind.
The atmosphere was quiet and ambiguous for a while, and Hector's voice fell on her ear, "What are you thinking about?"
"I like the feeling of being together as a family, it's warm and nice."
At that, Hector kissed the top of her hair gently and raised his hand to rub her hair lovingly.
As if affirmed, Eloise continued: "The Darlington family has been good to me, but it's not my home, I'm just an outsider and there's always a piece of me missing.
But it's a very different feeling here, like I've been family with you guys for a long, long time, and I'd like to keep all this goodness forever if I could."
Eloise looked back at Hector, a slight crystal in the corner of her eye the moment she turned back.
Hector's heart was soft and he raised his hand, his large palm caressing her face.
Eloise knew her eyes were moist and held back the mist from coalescing into teardrops.
The next moment, a sudden softness in the corner of her eyes, Hector clasped her shoulders and turned her body around, and the next moment, warm lips were gently imprinted on her eyes.
Eloise froze, her body shuddering, surrounded by his scent, unable to help but rely on him with her whole being.
She wished that time could stop for a second and leave all distractions behind.
With a thought, Hector slowly lowered his head and tried to kiss her soft lips.
Just as their lips were about to touch, a clear voice suddenly exploded, from far away to near.
"Brother, sister-in-law! Come in and see the fruit plate my daughter-in-law made... I never thought my daughter-in-law could not only hold a scalpel or something, but also a kitchen knife! And she's so good with a knife!" Startled, Eloise hurriedly turned around with her head down and her hands fumbling to fix her long hair.
"Er, sister-in-law?"
Sensing the ambiguity in the atmosphere, Rupert knew he seemed to have spoiled his brother's day and his mind raced on how to beg off.
"I'll go over and check it out while you talk to your brother."
With that, Eloise walked briskly towards the door, almost bumping into a nearby pillar in her panic, which Hector hastily helped.
Only two people were left at the promenade for a time, and Hector's face was cold and terrible.
He was about to touch his own daughter-in-law's lips when he was suddenly interrupted by this sound, and his anger rose for no reason.
The gaze overhead was sharp as hell and Rupert's scalp tingled; the look on his brother's face meant that something was terribly wrong. "That, brother, go in and have some fruit, well, Aisly is very good with her hands."
Having finished upside down, Rupert hurried to escape.
It's better to save your life now. There's a price to pay for spoiling someone's day.
As soon as he turned around he didn't see one of the flowering vines on the flower porch grow to the ground and Rupert stumbled.
His arm was held by Hector and he was spared from falling.
"Be careful."
With a cold drop of the tongue, Hector took the lead and strutted towards the room.
Standing up lamely, Rupert looked suspiciously at Hector's distant back.
It was somewhat surprising that his brother hadn't changed his ways to punish himself.
Later in the evening, Hector's mother, holding Sweety, who was about to fall asleep, looked at Hector and said, "Hector, your room upstairs is ready, so you and Eloise should go and rest." The original room...
Wouldn't that mean sleeping with Hector? Eloise didn't react for a moment.
At this point Hector suddenly spoke up, "Mum, I just heard Aisly say she wanted to sleep with you, Rupert is sleeping very restlessly now."
The words were spoken and the crowd looked at Hector in amazement.
Hector's mother was the first to understand and said with a smile, "Yes, Aisly has to sleep with me, and now that Aisly is pregnant, she needs to be more careful.
When this was said, the crowd responded with snickering smiles.
Aisly even glared at Rupert with a pouty look on her face.
But Rupert was the only one who looked at a loss for words; when had he heard that his daughter-in-law wanted to share a room with him?
Glancing back at Hector, who had a smile on his lips, Rupert instantly understood what was going on.
It's not too late...
It seems that it's still not a good idea to mess with Big Brother.
What a good teaching, it's totally self overthinking.
At this point, however hard it is, you have to bear it yourself.
Watching Aisly go to her room with her mother.
Feeling Rupert's sultry look, Aisly glanced back and before she could speak, the door was closed by Hector's mother.
Sitting downstairs, the more Rupert thought about it, the more angry he became and, unable to bear this pain by himself, he went upstairs.
Looking at the door to the study, which was half closed, Rupert knew that his brother was still busy.
Sneaking up to Eloise's room, Rupert pushed the door straight in.
"Sister-in-law, hey, I couldn't sleep to come and talk to you."
At that, Eloise was still a bit baffled as to why Rupert had come to talk to her for good reason.
But she didn't refuse.
Seeing her agreement, Rupert rambled on.
"I tell you sister-in-law, I think I assisted a lot when my brother was chasing you, otherwise with my brother's elusive brain, there's no way he could have chased you down."
Eloise was also intrigued to hear him talk about what had happened before.
Rupert continued: "My brother was still hiding you very well, and only after I pressed him to reveal that he had a crush on you.
But he doesn't dare to show you anything easily yet, for fear of scaring you, but I think that to love someone you have to let her know. Like me and Aisly ah..."
At the mention of his own affairs, Rupert came to life and sat upright throughout.
At first Eloise was able to give some response to his words, but slowly drowsiness set in and she had no idea what Rupert was talking about.
Later in the evening, Hector came out of his study and watched the front door open with Rupert's voice coming from inside, and instantly his brow furrowed.
When we got to the room, we saw Rupert talking happily, but Eloise was already squinting from time to time.
Hector didn't hesitate to give the eviction order, "It's late, you can go back to bed."
At this point, Rupert began to play dumb, "I haven't finished telling my sister-in-law yet, brother, you wait a bit longer, besides this is also helpful for your sister-in-law to recover her memory, right sister-in-law?" At the mention of her name, Eloise shook her head and regained some of her composure.
"It's okay, just keep talking."
Although she was already sleepy, Eloise couldn't afford to kick her out straight away. What's more, now that both children are asleep, there is no suitable excuse.
