Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 818: Can you come to my rescue?
Rowson drove around and around the streets of Milan.
Even stopping the car to look at a somewhat similar back at the sight of one. No no, neither.
Rowson's face was dreadfully grim, his grip on the steering wheel hard to the point where his bones were white, his thin lips pursed tightly, his heart a backlash, and an endless worry. Milan is so big, where would she hide?
She had no money, where could she go.
I was thirsty and didn't even have the money to buy a sip of water.
Rowson wants to slap himself a few times just thinking about it.
She doesn't know her way around here and has no way to get help.
If something were to happen to him if he met someone with bad intentions, he would live the rest of his life in bitter remorse.
But, even though she knew the situation would be difficult, Eloise left him and that place without a second thought.
She is not going to harm her!
Is she that unwilling to stay by her side?
With remorse, Rowson's innermost feelings of despair were so strong that he could barely grip the steering wheel.
All he could do was pull over to the side of the road, pound the steering wheel hard and bury his head in it.
Like a beast exhausted to the point of exhaustion, he was not at all his usual gentle self.
At that moment, a mobile phone rang cheerfully in the small compartment.
Rowson didn't move, and the ringing continued until it automatically hung up, and not a moment later, it rang again.
This time, without hesitation, Rowson fished out the phone without looking and pressed answer.
One hand tugged at the collar of his shirt with too much force, causing two buttons to fall off at the collar and bounce silently onto the carpet. Rowson leaned back dismally in his seat, shading his eyes with his hand and asking wearily, "Who is it?"
"It's me, why didn't you answer the phone earlier?" Katerina's unhappy voice came from there.
Rowson said with a blank face, "Didn't hear."
Katerina didn't bother with him about this either, but brought not so good news.
"Hector has found where you are holding Eloise captive and we need to get to the man before he does as soon as possible, you ..."
"It's not captivity!" Rowson corrected.
"You're biting off more than you can chew with me at this hour, you've got people locked up and ..."
Rowson interrupted her and said coldly, "I repeat, it's not called captivity!"
Katerina was speechless for a moment and said helplessly, "Fine, fine, if not, then not, did you hear what I just said to you?
Hector has arrived in Milan and he is also looking hard for Eloise and, perhaps, will replace her before we do, so you must hurry and make sure he doesn't replace her first, that would be too bad for us!" Hurry up, but only if you can replace it!
Rowson was annoyed and punched the car door.
There was a loud bang and Katerina on the other end of the line was startled and asked alertly, "What's going on on your end, what's that noise?" "Nothing."
Rowson's tone was full of impatience and annoyance.
I wonder how Hector got the news so quickly, in case he did replace the man one step ahead of himself, then he wouldn't have a chance at all.
Understanding Rowson's irritation, Katerina hesitated for a moment and said, "I know you're in a bad mood, but you can't afford to drop the ball at a time like this."
Katerina's constant counting made Rowson not want to hear any more.
"Okay, I get it, is that all you have to say? I'll hang up now if there's nothing else."
He doesn't need people telling him what to do.
There was a rustle on Rowson's side and Katerina rushed to say, "Don't hang up, there's something else, can't you replace someone now.
I think you could also go and follow Hector, Eloise will definitely be looking for him when he gets out of it, and it would be just as well to replace an opportunity to kidnap the man then." Rowson's head was buzzing with Katerina's "She's going to go after Hector" and his heart was almost bursting with pain.
Eloise has gone to great lengths to escape him, not to get to Hector.
Over there, Katerina was still rambling on, but Rowson wasn't listening to a word.
He cupped his phone and stared at the dark as ink night sky for a long time without saying a word.
When he didn't say anything for a long time, Katerina hung up the phone.
Hotel.
Eloise was halfway through her shower when she remembered that hotels have landline telephones!
With a phone, she could reach Hector!
She immediately rinsed the bath off her body in three or two strokes, threw on her robe and ran out impatiently.
Sure enough, she was delighted to see a landline at the foot of her bed, but when she was ready to dial it, she found she didn't quite know how to use it.
Without hesitation, she got up, walked to the door of her room, unscrewed the lock just in time to see a waiter tidying up the room next door, and Eloise smiled as she walked over.
In fluent English, he said, "Hello, I need help." And then, stated his need.
The waiter also agrees kindly, in slightly Italian accented English.
Afterwards, went into the room with Eloise and made a point of demonstrating it to make sure she already knew how to use it before leaving the room.
Eloise couldn't wait to dial the number that she had memorised!
The phone beeps rhythmically and Eloise's heart beats faster and faster.
Hurry!
Get it!
In Hector's villa, a dozen advanced hackers work simultaneously to hack directly into Milan's road surveillance system, sifting through suspicious characters in detail. Thomas came over with a tray and handed Hector his coffee.
"Did anything come of it?"
"Mr Hector, no sign of Miss Eloise yet."
Hector frowned in annoyance, put his coffee down hard on the table and got up, striding behind the hacker.
Looking at the code displayed on his computer, Hector's mind was troubled to the core.
"Are they all trash!"
Seeing him fuming, Thomas came over and patted him on the shoulder, relieved, "Prince, maybe Miss Eloise can replace shelter."
At that moment, a buzzing vibration came from the phone, presumably from one of the men reporting again.
Hector immediately pressed the answer button and the words were suppressed anger, "Listen, you better have some good news to report to me or you know the consequences." Hearing the voice she had been dreaming of day and night, Eloise's hands couldn't help but tremble as she cautiously asked, "Hector ... is that you?"
At that, Hector's hand froze hard as he gripped the phone, and even his body tensed up instantly.
This is the sound of ... Eloise!
His voice tightened, "Eloise, is that you? Where are you now?"
"It's me, Hector, it's Eloise, I'm running out from under Rowson's hand, can you come and save me?"
Before Eloise could finish, Hector took the phone directly to the phone while striding out the door.
