Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 822: It's a husband
Katerina grunted inwardly, the hypocrisy of these men was something she really didn't want to see anymore.
A few people exchanged pleasantries and Bergerian interjected at the right time, timing it perfectly.
"Professor Curry, he's a rare talent, you don't want to waste this medical wizard for me."
"Of course I will, Mr. Rowson, if you would please go ahead with me."
Professor Curry did not miss the sweeping glance that Bergling had just given him, and he understood that this was to take Rowson away. Rowson nodded slightly.
"Then you will go ahead and study it."
Bergerian gave Rowson an approving look, "You're going to play well."
Rowson laughed at this and then followed Professor Curry.
As soon as he had left, Bergerian's face changed, and there was no trace of the gentleness of the pleasantries exchanged between friends a moment before. "Well done, the boy actually came over with you."
Bergerian smiled and unapologetically patted Katerina on the shoulder, his eyes full of calculating light.
Katerina lowered her eyebrows, "I will naturally do what you tell me to do."
With those words, she took a slight half step backwards.
Bergrin was too absorbed in his joy to notice Katerina's subtle gesture.
"However, remember that we must not take things lightly just yet, I need you to keep an eye on him and nothing must go wrong."
Bergrin's smile said and withdrew, giving the impression that the smile he had just given was just an illusion.
But there he was, a gentlemanly and generous man in person, but behind the scenes he was secretly plotting this great conspiracy.
Such a change of expression had become a routine with him and Katerina had long since adapted.
"Okay, boss."
There were no unnecessary words, and Katerina didn't want to say anything unnecessary.
She knew that people like Bergerian hated nonsense and people who couldn't get things done, so she just needed to get what Bergerian had told her done. Bergrin was pleased with Katerina's performance and appreciated her ability to get things done.
For her, he was never at ease.
"Very well, you keep an eye on things here, I'm going out to run some errands."
As soon as the words were out of his mouth, he took them in his stride.
The thumping of feet on the floor of the research room was eerie in the open environment.
Katerina was relieved that Birgerin had finally gone.
Facing him, she had to be on her toes.
After a brief respite, Katerina returned to her previous appearance and headed in the direction Rowson had just left.
She hadn't forgotten her mission.
...
Rays of warm sunlight spill in through the gaps in the curtains and shine on the large bed inside.
The small woman on the bed squirmed and wailed, opening her drowsy, wet eyes.
Still the most comfortable bed at home.
The contents of her mind drifted back and Eloise came to her senses.
It was a good night's sleep, relieving Eloise's tiredness and tense nerves from many days.
The back was warm and she was in the man's lean arms.
The man's breathing was steady and Eloise felt happy at the moment.
She was tempted to pause the moment, to stay in this blissful moment, and slowly rolled over to lie face to face with Hector.
Eloise didn't dare make any big movements for fear of waking up the man next to her and disturbing the feeling of the quietness of the years.
Hector's lashes were long and dense, casting two dark shadows across his eyelids that she couldn't resist touching gently with her upper hand. Another snicker and a sweet smile.
At the moment she looks exactly like the pampered little woman she is.
In fact, Hector was awake the moment she woke up to wooing, or maybe he wasn't asleep at all.
I've only just laid down after a long day of business.
He works so hard so that he can spend more time with the woman in his arms, who occupies his mind all the time.
Hector opened his eyes and just looked at the sniggering woman, his eyes as deep as a whirlpool, like they were trying to suck someone in. Once inside, there was no escape.
Eloise fell into the vortex when she looked up again, and it took her a long time to get over it.
"When did you ... you wake up?"
Eloise was a little alarmed.
Did he see what she just looked like?
Two unnatural flushes flushed her face at the thought.
The head is buried under the covers and won't come out.
"What are you shy about? It's not like we haven't seen it before." Hector said unconcerned.
He had indeed seen it many times, but he was still moved by it every time.
His heart, his reason, could never be manipulated sensibly when he met her.
The woman under the covers grew even more shy at the words, and raised her head to look at him with feigned anger.
Attempts to cover up their shyness in this way.
Hector scratched her nose dotingly, "Business is all done, want to go for a walk today? I'll keep you company."
I'll keep you company.
Three words made Eloise's heart soften into a puddle, "Yes, I haven't been out for a walk in ages."
Her nerves had been on edge for the past few days and it would be good to go for a walk to relax.
Once the decision was made, the pair started to get up and pack.
Hector thoughtfully squeezed her toothpaste and patiently blow-dried her hair after she washed it. Once everything was cleaned up, Hector took her hand and headed out.
The streets of Milan have an artistic feel to them.
The people of Milan are very welcoming, both the elderly and the children have happy faces, like Eloise's at the moment. Such a Milan was different from the cold darkness when she had escaped out alone.
Eloise shook her head violently, leaving behind all the unpleasant experiences, shaking off all the helplessness and despair.
Hector wrapped his large palm around Eloise's small hand as they made their way through the streets, like a normal couple in love. Eloise saw the Sweety Circle shop not far away and couldn't help but gulp at the thought of the aromatic Sweety smell.
Pointing to the shop sign at that moment, he turned back to Hector and asked, "Would you like a Sweety ring?"
No need to think, asking this must mean she wants to eat.
The corners of Hector's mouth curled slightly as he allowed her to take him by the hand.
"Go on, get it."
Once inside the shop, Hector spoke to the owner in standard Italian, "One of each flavour, boss."
Hector's perfect figure and handsome oriental face have long caught the attention of his boss.
Hearing his textbook Italian and a mouthful of expansiveness, I couldn't help but look at the woman beside him a little more. "Miss, you are so lucky to have such a wonderful boyfriend."
"It's the husband."
Hector corrected by wrapping Eloise into his arms.
"Hahahaha, you are very fond of your wife."
The owner looked at Eloise again and smiled even brighter.
"Miss, your Sweety circle, bless you all as happy as the Sweety circle has been."
The owner's smile is so genuine that Eloise can't help but be infected.
Although completely unable to understand the meaning of his words, he returned a polite smile.
Turning his head to Hector with a questioning look.
