Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 868: Life Without Death
So, Master Khan did not make a move to retain Hector and Eloise.
Although, in his private heart, he would have liked to spend more time with Eloise and the others.
"Hmm."
Master Khan let out a short monosyllable from his throat as a response, and then added, "Then let Ah Sum send you back." "Then... have your cousin take us back to the hotel to pick up the car,"
Eloise didn't refuse, having come to the old Fang house in Master Khan's car and now having to go back to the hotel to drive.
Before leaving, she politely said to the other grandfather again, "Grandpa, we'll see you next time."
With a slight nod to his parents, Edgar followed Eloise's family of four out of the old Fang mansion.
When Farabee and Devona wanted to say something else, they were met with a cold glare from Elder Fang, who didn't dare move a muscle.
What could have been a good day with his granddaughter was spoiled by two buggers.
Can Master Khan's heart be comfortable?
As he watched the four members of Eloise's family walk away, Master Khan was filled with reluctance.
...
Once at the hotel and Eloise got into Hector's car, the whole thing slackened off.
She really didn't want to stay much longer in a place with Farabee and Devona.
To behave like this, these two families are really enough.
"Eloise, when your aunt wakes up, you must bring her to see grandpa."
After putting the family in the car, Edgar admonished them.
Solomon looked at Edgar with reluctance as he held the precious toy he had gotten from him.
"Uncle! Solomon will see you next time."
"Good, uncle will wait for you."
After saying goodbye to Edgar, Eloise and Hector set off back to City J with the two little ones in tow.
On the way, the two little ones took a short nap and then sat up and played in the back row with a lot of fuss.
Arriving at the Rogers family home, the pair ran on their little legs and yelled, "Grandpa, Grandma, Sweety's home!" "Grandparents, Solomon misses you so much!"
Although they had only been apart for two days, Hector's parents were missing their two children terribly.
As soon as they heard their voices, they came out to meet them, one in each arm.
"Grandma's baby is back at last? How have you been these past two days, have you been happy?"
Hector's mother is carrying Sweety in her arms and holding Solomon's hand.
Solomon chattered and talked to Hector's mother about how nice his uncle was.
Not to be outdone, Sweety lifted her little chin proudly and talked about the little biscuits she had made with her uncle and grandma.
The milky voice drew the love of two old men.
The group went inside and when the two children were tired of talking, Hector's mother asked, "How have you been at the Fang's house for the past two days, did your grandfather and the others give you a hard time?" Eloise took a sip of water before telling Hector's mother all about the Khan family.
This includes Farabee and Devona's rivalry with each other and their snobbery, etc.
"These two families are not really good."
Hector's mother's tone was full of displeasure, she didn't like the idea of her daughter-in-law being bullied when she came home!
Eloise was quick to smile, "Apart from the two families, Great Uncle and Second Uncle, Young Uncle's family is nice and treats us well, and Grandpa too."
You see, those toys in Solomon's hands are from his cousin!"
After Eloise said that, Hector's mother felt a little better.
Eloise after giving a brief account of what happened to the Khan family.
Hector's mother just couldn't help but sigh.
I had no idea that ... Eloise's mother's family history was so complicated as well.
"These people don't know what they need these dead things for day in and day out, they're all things that don't come with life and don't come with death." Hector's mother exclaims.
Eloise smiled, echoing Hector's mother's words in her heart.
Power and money are supposed to be extraneous, so why are so many people obsessed with them?
After talking to Hector's parents for a while, Eloise thought of Maryam.
After entrusting the two little ones to Hector's parents, Eloise was met by Hector and made her way to the hospital with the intention of seeing Maryam. "Do you need me to go in with you?"
Hector helped Eloise unbuckle her seatbelt and took her hand in question.
Eloise smiles and shakes her head.
She knew he had a lot of business to attend to at his company.
It's not always possible to put all that on Rupert alone.
"I can do it myself, I'll be back early in the evening." Eloise said, half pouting.
As she parted, she also shyly left a sloppy kiss on Hector's cheek.
Only then did he turn and run towards Maryam's ward.
Although she hadn't seen Maryam for only two days, Eloise felt that she hadn't seen her for a long time and was missing her.
Maryam has not been well lately and has been sleeping since she was admitted to the hospital.
On a rare occasion, Eloise came in this time and Maryam was out of ICU and awake!
"Mom! You're awake?"
Eloise walked over to the bedside in surprise.
In the sunlight, Maryam's face grows paler and paler, as if she will disappear in the next moment. "Eloise, you're here."
Maryam eased out of her daze and a smile appeared on her face when she saw Eloise.
Eloise walked over to Maryam and sat down beside her, examining her pale and haggard face.
I can't tell you how heartbroken I am.
"Mum, how are you feeling now?"
Eloise's heart always flutters every time the subject comes up.
Yet there is no escape from this problem.
Maryam smiled and patted Eloise's little hand, reassuringly saying, "Don't worry, Mum's fine, she's just a bit drained from lying down for so long." "Why don't you accompany me for a walk outside?"
Eloise would certainly not refuse Maryam's offer.
She carefully assisted Maryam in her wheelchair to the small garden outside the hospital.
Considering that Maryam is rarely awake, if she falls back into a coma, there is no telling when she will revive next time.
Eloise thought about it and decided to tell her about the Khan family.
"Mom, there's something I want to talk to you about."
"Silly boy, just say what you want to say, stammering."
Maryam stroked the top of her hair and looked her lovingly.
"My cousin found me the other day, you know him, his name is Edgar."
