Chapter 877: Taking the reins of the Rogers Group

It wasn't the first time Sweety had come to such a lively occasion and she blinked at her daddy.

Then he took Solomon's hand in style and followed the two adults with his bum.

The lights hit the family of four.

In a light blue evening gown, Eloise's long hair was loosely pulled back at the back of her head, her skin was silky smooth and she wore no extra jewellery. It looks regal and uncommon, and reveals elegance in the way it moves.

Not to mention the two little munchkins behind them, which were enough to make the noblewomen in the room flood with motherly love.

The celebrities looked at Hector holding Eloise and their faces were full of envy.

The few celebrities who still had ulterior motives for Hector were put off the moment they saw Eloise.

Once everyone had arrived, the reception became more and more lively, and the celebrities and daughters didn't dare to have any other thoughts about Hector. While the Hector brothers were talking to the others about work-related matters, Eloise came aside with the two little munchkins and brought them little desserts to eat. "Hi, Mrs. Eloise."

There was a sweet looking young lady who came up to Eloise with a smile on her face and greeted her.

Eloise glanced back at a very familiar face.

But out of courtesy, she smiled and nodded, "Hello."

"I, I'm from the same school as you! I am your school sister and have heard of you for a long time!"

Little Chikane was as happy and excited as if she had met her idol, and her speech was a little stuttered.

Eloise lost her smile and fed Sweety the cupcake in her hand, speaking softly to her, "Really? That's very karmic, so study hard."

Little Chikane was so excited by the response that she almost jumped up and down as she nodded heavily, "I will!"

The other celebrities around the room followed the example of the young lady and came over to Eloise's side to make a connection. "Mrs. Eloise, do you remember me? We met at the party last time."

Looking around at all these unfamiliar faces, Eloise's whole body was a little confused and very helpless.

Eloise curled her eyes at them again and smiled, then led the two little ones away from the crowd and picked a place to sit near the small balcony. Hector couldn't bear to leave Eloise alone for too long, even with Sweety and Solomon in tow.

She turned her head just in time to meet Hector's eyes.

"Mr Hector, I'll have him thrown out now." The security officer, seeing the silence between the two of them, thought that he had upset the two men and hastened to add. "No, I'll go and see."

Hector refused in a hushed voice, then took Eloise and the two children and walked out together.

At the end of that corridor, the two saw Farabee, the Fang's great uncle, stopped in front of him by security guards.

"I said, I'm the great uncle of the wife of the chairman of the Rogers Group, hurry up and let me in."

Farabee's boisterous voice came from far away, "You'll get your asses kicked if you do anything wrong later."

Eloise frowned at once, her brow tinged with a few moments of displeasure.

The sound of his voice also attracted a number of guests to come out and have a look around.

"Eloise, Hector, it's my great uncle!"

Farabee's eyes caught sight of Eloise and Hector, and she raised her hand and waved impulsively.

The two Eloise's walked up to Farabee and she gave him a small nod before inquiring with a lame brow, "Is it urgent for you, Great-Uncle?"

"That's for sure, I'm here on business and I know you're meeting here tonight so I came to see you."

Farabee replied with a sarcastic look, "But who knew I'd be stopped outside?"

The security men saw that Farabee was indeed Eloise's great-uncle, and a cold sweat seeped out of their nerves.

They peeked up to look at Eloise and Hector.

"So that's it."

Eloise responded indifferently.

Farabee didn't care about Eloise's cold attitude and turned her head back to Hector with a fawning smile piled on her face, "Hector, I know all about it, you're really young and talented!" With that, he even reached out to pat Hector on the shoulder, but the latter dodged it without moving.

"Anyway, my great uncle is here to congratulate you."

A flash of embarrassment crossed Farabee's face, but it was quickly concealed and she said enthusiastically, "Congratulations on taking the reins of the entire Rogers Group!"
