Love Comes To Me
Chapter 928: Are you angry?

"Prince, the Bergerian side is starting a secret investigation into the SA group."

Thomas was so excited that he forgot to knock and just pushed the door open and walked in.

Hector raised his eyes and gave him a faint look without saying anything.

"That's a great move on your part, Prince." Thomas couldn't contain his excitement at the thought of the dog-eat-dog scene he was about to see.

Who made Bergerian so bad that he worked on a virus like that and even tried to use it in exchange for huge profits.

"What did I do?" Hector put down the papers in his hands and looked up, good-naturedly, at him.

Thomas froze, "It's ... it's ..."

Under his calm gaze, Thomas surprisingly felt a slight sense of oppression. Luckily, he was smart enough to react immediately and changed his tone, "No, you have done nothing, Prince." Hector bowed his head, "Steady focus later."

"Yes."

Thomas walked over, "Prince, Pierce has been contacting me about us selling the herbs to SA Group."

"How do you answer that?"

"I answered him as you explained."

Hector nodded with satisfaction.

"But what he meant was that the SA Group was willing to raise the price."

"Surround yourself with him, you don't have to put words in his mouth."

Before things go any further, the SA Group will still be of use to them. "Understood." Thomas knew what he meant.

...

With Mrs Darlington gone, Eloise was a bit uncomfortable as she was suddenly free.

So she went to the back garden to look for Hector's mother.

Hector's mother was watering the flowers and when she saw her coming, her brow furrowed slightly, "Why aren't you in your room resting?" "It's a bit boring."

Eloise walks over to the watering can and waters the flowers just as Hector's mother did.

"Just hurry up and put it down and watch from the sidelines." Hector's mother looked nervous as she tried to take the kettle from her hand.

Eloise laughed helplessly, "Mum, I'm not that weak, I can still water a flower."

Seeing how insistent she was, Hector's mother had no choice but to let her go, "Be careful then."

"Hmm."

Eloise is quietly watering the flowers, a quiet smile on her pretty face, as beautiful as the flowers in full bloom.

After watering the flowers, Hector's mother and Eloise went to sit on a stone bench.

Hector's mother looked at the flowers she had planted with a gentle, light smile, "When the new flower tea is ready back there, you send some to your Mrs Darlington. She loves it." "Good." Eloise nodded, "Mum will be so pleased, I'll thank you in advance for her."

"Silly child, you're welcome." Hector's mother turned her head and gazed at her deeply, "It's the Rogers family that we have to thank her and the Darlington family, if they hadn't helped you and Sweety, the Rogers family wouldn't have such a wonderful daughter-in-law and such a lovely granddaughter as you.."

At that, Eloise bowed her head and smiled, "I'm grateful for them too."

It was a kindness she feared she would never be able to repay in her lifetime, especially to Rowson.

"Let's have the family over sometime in the future and the two families can get together more in the future." Hector's mother suggested.

Eloise looked at Hector's mother and felt her whole heart soften, even her eyes became soft, "Mom, thank you."

Hector's mother was truly heartbroken to think this way.

"Silly child, saying thank you again." Hector's mother glared at her without good grace.

"I'm going to say it." Eloise, in a rare moment of pampering, rested her head affectionately on Hector's mother's shoulder, enjoying the rare warmth.

Hector's mother gently patted her hand and smiled gently.

Hector came home without seeing Eloise and thought something had happened to her again and was about to call when he caught a glimpse of her and her mother walking in from the back garden out of the corner of his eye. "Eloise," he said as he walked over quickly.

"Why are you back?" Eloise was surprised, what time was it that he was off work?

Instead of answering, Hector asked, "How are you?"

Eloise flinched, "I'm fine."

Seeing his relief at his answer, Eloise couldn't help but lose her smile, "You're too nervous, I've gotten much better."

Hector's mother couldn't help but tease, "You're ah really too nervous, she's just been with me watering the flowers and she does feel much better than she did the other day."

Hector knew he was overstimulating, but it was only natural that he would be nervous; after all, the virus in Eloise's body had not been eradicated and could strike at any moment. "Actually, you don't have to come back especially to stay with me, Mum and Dad are home."

Eloise doesn't want it to interfere with his work.

"Don't worry, I'll take care of Eloise." Hectorâ€TMs mother smiled back.

"Well, I know."

Hector and Hector's mother said a few words and led Eloise back upstairs to her room.

"I'm really fine, Hector."

As soon as she entered the room, Eloise was asked to lie down on the bed and rest, which made her laugh and cry.

"You did get better with the medicine, but you still need to rest, if you work too hard, your resistance will go down and then you'll have another attack."

Hector is not an alarmist, but Almeida specifically instructed him to be.

"Okay." Eloise obeyed and lay down.

There was silence all around as Hector helped her to tuck in, then took the computer and went to sit down on the couch next to her.

Eloise looked at him, thoughtfully, and asked tentatively, "Hector, have you heard from Rowson?"

She knew about Hector leaving Ramm in Italy to investigate the virus.

-- "Eloise, if you can get in touch with Rowson, talk to him for me and tell him to come home, me and his dad miss him."

This is what Mrs Darlington Fu said to her before she left.

Rowson was unable to go home because of her, so she felt guilty when she heard Mrs Darlington's words.

If it weren't for her, Rowson would be a top drug researcher by now.

In the end, she owes it to the Darlington family.

Hector looked up and took in the self-condemnation and guilt on her face.

His brow furrowed in disbelief, and to be honest he didn't like the fact that Eloise always felt indebted to the Darlington family.

It is true that the Darlington family helped her in her time of trouble, but one thing is for sure, and it is thanks to Rowson that her life is now in danger.

"I haven't heard from him."

His voice was cold and laced with a hint of displeasure.

Eloise could hear it, "You're angry?"

"No." The answer was crisp.

Eloise muttered in a small voice, "Such a bad tone of voice and you say you're not angry."

Not sure if he heard her or not, Hector said, "Rowson is an adult, he has to take responsibility for the choices he makes."

The implication was that she didn't have to worry about Rowson all the time.

"It's not like I have to worry about him." Eloise brushed her lips down in no good humour, "The Darlington family are genuinely good to me and Sweety and Rowson is the only son of the Darlington family." Hector is silent.

Eloise couldn't help but sigh and continue, "I know you don't like Rowson, but he's trying to make up for it too."

"I'll have Ramm keep a close eye on it and will let you know if I hear anything."

At that, Eloise immediately smiled happily, "Hector, that's very kind of you."

At these words, Hector's cold brow was tinged with a slight smile.

As long as she's happy, that's all that matters.
