Love Comes To Me
Chapter 965: Not a simple mind

"With the Bartram family being strong and having their own research institutes and researchers, this is a perfectly good partnership." Edgar analyses.

Hector thought for a moment, "Tell Rawlins I want to talk to him personally."

At that, Edgar beamed and nodded, "Yes, yes, I'll contact him right away."

"Let me know if anything happens, I'll go and pick up Eloise and the others." Hector gets up and picks up his jacket from the sofa and strides off.

It was close to noon before Eloise waited for Hector.

"Daddy, where are we going?"

Once in the car, Sweety was eager to ask.

Hector looked back at her, a plausible smile tugging at the corners of his lips, and said, "We'll go to dinner first, then take you to the park mall for a stroll." "I want to go to the amusement park." Sweety said.

Children, who have always been fascinated by amusement parks, never get tired of them.

"Sweety, we'll take you to the amusement park some other time, it's too late for today." Eloise coaxed gently.

"Then Mummy's word is good."

Eloise smiled, "Well, it must be a promise."

The family went to a well-known teahouse in Kyoto.

"Mummy, let's sit there, okay?" Solomon took Eloise's hand and pointed to a spot in the corner of the restaurant.

It was also a street-level position against a floor-to-ceiling window.

"Okay, we'll sit there."

Eloise walked past holding the two children, Hector following behind.

Once seated, Eloise handed the children the menu, "You two can see for yourselves what you want to eat."

Not far away Earlene did not expect to meet the Hector family here.

Looking at the cosy family of four in the corner, she subconsciously squeezed the cup in her hand.

"Earlene, what are you looking at?" Her friend sitting across from her followed her line of sight and frowned in confusion, "You know them?"

Earlene withdrew her gaze and responded indifferently, "Met once."

Sensing that she was in an off mood, her friend ventured a guess, "It's not your ex-boyfriend, is it?"

"What are you thinking?" Earlene glared at him without a smile, "There's no way I'm going to let him be an ex-boyfriend if I'm going to have such a great one." With that, she glanced at Hector.

"Is it? Is it excellent?" My friend turned his head and looked at Hector again, then nodded in agreement, "I can't see the face, but it feels like a good vibe."

Earlene laughed, "I was afraid you would not want your man if you saw his right face."

My friend snorted disdainfully, "In my eyes, there is no one who can compare to my darling."

A thought struck Earlene's mind as she looked at her proud little face.

She stood up.

My friend looked up in dismay, "What do you want?"

Earlene smiled faintly, "Go over and say hello."

With that, he walked straight towards the corner without waiting for his friend to react.

Eloise was talking to the child about what to order when suddenly a familiar voice rang in her ears, "Eloise."

She looked up and froze for a few seconds at the sight of Earlene, then reacted and stood up excitedly, "Miss Earlene."

Earlene maintained a suitable smile at the corners of her mouth and nodded at Hector before saying, "I'm here for dinner too and happened to see you guys so I came over to say hello." Then she looked over at Solomon and Sweety and stared in amazement, "These are your children, aren't they, they are so good looking."

Solomon stared at her unblinkingly.

Eloise noticed and felt it was rude and whispered, "Solomon, don't stare at people like that, call your auntie."

"You're the sister from the amusement park." Solomon said suddenly.

"An amusement park?" Earlene didn't seem to catch his words.

"You're the sister that my brother bumped into at the amusement park."

Sweety's words cleared up the doubts in the minds of several adults.

"So it's you." Earlene looked at Solomon in surprise.

Solomon gave a coy smile, "Mmm."

Eloise hastened to say, "I'm really sorry about the last time Solomon bumped into you."

"It's okay, it's all in the past." Earlene glanced at Hector, who had been silent, and continued, "I didn't think we were so connected." "Yeah, it's really bonding." Eloise nodded approvingly.

The world just has such coincidences.

The two men chatted briefly for a few more moments before Earlene returned to her place.

Eloise waved a hand at her, then sat down and said with some excitement, "Hector, how do you think it could be such a coincidence?" Hector gazed deeply at her.

She was glowing and seemed to really like that Earlene.

Just...

"There are times when it's too much of a coincidence, and that's not a coincidence." Hector said lightly. "Hmm?"

Eloise was still so caught up in her affair with Earlene that she completely missed the meaning of his words.

Seeing her look of bewilderment, Hector suddenly smiled.

Yes, she has always been so simple and rarely wary of people.

Maybe he shouldn't think of people in a complicated way, maybe that Earlene simply wants to be friends with Eloise. "Nothing." Hector turned the tables, "Order."

After finishing his meal, Hector got up to go to the checkout.

"A lady has already paid for you." The cashier at the front desk said.

Hector frowned.

Seeing his confusion, the cashier added, "It was paid for by Miss Earlene." Earlene.

Hector's eyes flashed and he turned back to his seat.

"Did you check out?" Eloise asked.

"Earlene paid for it."

"Huh?" Eloise was stunned, "How did she... pay for us? Shall I ask her?"

"No need, invite her back some other time."

Eloise nodded, "That's fine."

She turned to the two little ones and said, "Come on, let's go to the mall."

The two little ones immediately jumped out of their seats and happily walked ahead, with Eloise hurrying to follow.

Hector turned his head to look at them, a deep colour in his eyes.

Somehow, he always felt that Earlene had something more than a simple mind.

"Hector, come on." Eloise turned back to urge.

He collected his thoughts and lifted his steps to follow.

...

Arlice was surprised when he received a call from Pierce.

Since the previous collaboration had been fully handled by Hector, I didn't expect Pierce to contact himself again.

"Mr Farabee, can you reach Mr Hector on your side?"

"You mean Ken ..."

Arlice almost blurted out and asked, "I wonder what you want to see Mr Hector about?"

"It's like this, our SA group ordered a batch of herbs from him before, but there was an accident and it got burnt. So we want to order a new batch." Re-order!

Arlice's eyes instantly lit up, that's a lot of money.

"Just talk to me directly about any herbs you need."

Pierce on the other side of the phone was a little surprised, "Just talk to you? Don't you have to tell Mr Hector?"
