Luna for the twin alphas
Chapter 34

She heard the faint sounds of bones snapping and cries around her as Logan killed everyone near, dispelling any potential threats away from his pregnant mate. Leo Kept his paws around her, not letting her go for even a second.

Anastasia kept herself buried in the warm fur, using it as a shield from any danger, the steady breath of her mate helped calm her down, the pups in his stomach stilling too.

Soon the noises stopped and she sensed Logan travel further. She smelt the alpha come back after a while, the scent of blood thick in the air. Leo growled something at the other alpha, causing him to run off once again. After he left, Leo pulled back slightly, taking this as an opportunity to let his guard down slightly and lick Anastasia. Her body had small cuts on them from being dragged, which the alpha growled at the sight of and licked thoroughly, leaving her arms and neck covered in saliva.

Logan came back slightly wet, he had probably gone to the nearby pond to wash off the blood.

Once she was finally back in her nest, the wolves turned back. Not even a second later, hands were all over her, undressing her and checking for injuries. She sat patiently as Leo licked every inch of skin on his front side, and Logan on the back. Anastasia carried on sniffing, the alphas' calming pheromones helping to tranquilize her. She felt better but was unable to stop quivering from shock.

She stayed there for the rest of the day, no one else coming anywhere near her as the night progressed. The omega wondered what happened to Julia if she got hurt or anything but was relieved to replace that the beta was fine. She had been held up because Bunnie was struggling to travel so far, Anastasia should've got her to use another horse.

She didn't stop shaking for a long time, the alphas didn't leave the nest, unless it was to get food or help her to the toilet. Even the pups were being restless and she was suffering from it too.

"They came here to take you back," Leo mumbled later. "After Hendrix told them I guess they decided to come all the way here and demand you come back, or duel us for you."

"Either way they are stupid," Logan scoffed. "It would never have worked."

"Our old pack didn't know too much about you guys," Anastasia whispered. "Omegas are property so even if I was mated to another pack, I would always be seen as property to them."

Logan's face became ugly with the rage from earlier, the creases on his forehead and marring his handsome face. "I should not have given them such a quick death," he sneered.

"On the bright note, I doubt this will start a war," Leo interrupted. His side of the bond was throbbing with anger too, but way more subdued. Anastasia nuzzled her face more into his chest to calm him down, stroking Logan's hair simultaneously. "They tried to attack our Luna, and that is illegal in every pack.and she is pregnant too, so we are justified in our killing. Your cry makes it more valid, we had every right to do what we wanted to keep you safe in that situation. If they declare war, they will lose."

"They won't," Anastasia spoke louder than she had since they got back. "Our pack numbers are waning daily. I don't think they value me enough to fight, even if I'm pure white. If it was any other pack then maybe yes, but a repeat of what they did would destroy the pack."

"Good," Logan's voice was harsh. It was fascinating how he could make the simplest words sound so mean, it was one of the reasons nobody liked talking to the alpha about issues, instead, Anastasia and Leo would be approached.

The omega doubted anyone would be coming near her now though, she wouldn't be surprised if the alphas tailed her more than they already did. The other guards would no longer be enough security for her. Anastasia didn't feel upset about the added security measures though, she couldn't go anywhere anyway with his current size, she didn't want to either. The only place she wanted to be was near her mates, where she was the safest.
