Married By Mistake -
Chapter 42-The End
LUNA
I was smiling while walking to the altar. I am wearing a very beautiful wedding dress that I even designed. I praised in my mind the wedding coordinator we hired for the church repairs he did. I smiled at every person I passed.
But when I was halfway through the walk, my world shrank and I could only see Dylan.
Her eyes were red and so were mine. I bit my lower l*p as I approached her.
I saw him wipe his eye with tears fleeing from there.
“D ..” Finally.
He smiled sweetly. “Luna ..”
I put my hand on his hand. He squeezed it like he won’t let me go. Ever. I squeezed back. We stared at each other’s eye for a long. Tears welled up in my eyes. He wrapped his hand around the veil and gently wiped away the small tear in my eyes.
“Why are you crying? Are you having regrets?”
I shook. “Tears of joy. I’ve been dreaming about this. I’ve been dreaming about you, Dylan.”
“Crap.” I was surprised at how weak he was. “I want to k**s you.”
“Marry my son first, Dylan,” Dad said violently.
Dylan winced.
We went to the altar hand in hand. My bridesmaids adjusted my wedding gown so I could properly stand and sit.
“We all gathered today to witness the reunion of Dylan Caden Reyes and Veronica Luna Reyes.” Proclamation of the Priest. “Before I start the ceremony .. does anyone object to this wedding?”
“Nop—”
“Me! I object!” The woman shouted from behind us.
I looked away and to my surprise .. “Camille?”
I felt Dylan’s hand on my waist. “What do you think you’re doing?”
“Dylan, you got me pregnant so you can’t marry her.” She said.
I covered my mouth and looked at Dylan in shock. “Dylan, what does that mean?”
“I-I don’t know what she’s saying.”
“I was pregnant when I left you. I hid it because I saw how happy you are with Luna. But, I can’t keep it a secret anymore! I need you! Come back to me!” Camille walked quickly towards us. “I’m the one you love, aren’t I? Luna is just my substitute.”
“Dylan! What’s the meaning of this? Explain yourself!”
He could not speak.
“Dylan! Talk to me! Dylan!” I shouted angrily. “Dylan! Explain this!”
“Luna .. wake up! Wake up, Baby!” I blinked and Dylan’s worried face appeared on me. “Are you having a bad dream? You’re calling my name.”
I hugged him tightly and cried on his neck. Thanks, God.
“Shh. It is just a dream.” He said softly.
“You seem to have betrayed me. You seem to have a child with Camille. You seem to have gotten her pregnant before she left you.”
“That’s not true. It’s just a dream.” He hugged me tightly.
“What if it’s true? What was a vision that- that would happen in or wedding? Dylan, I don’t know what I’m going to do.” I fail to say.
My forehead frowned when I heard him laugh. “Why are you laughing?”
He wet his lower l*p before speaking again. “Our marriage is long over, Luna. Camille is even our maid of honour. We’ve been together for a few years, Baby. Our children are already grown, eh.”
“Huh?”
“And Camille is also married to Kenneth. Have you forgotten?” He said, sweetly. “They already have three children and they all live in America.”
“But, the dream—”
He kissed my cheek. “It was just a dream, Luna. It meant nothing at all.”
I turned to him and covered his l*p. I felt his smile between our k**s.
“You were screaming my name, don’t you know how hot that is?” He whispered.
I bit his lower l*p and made him m**n.
We stopped when there was a knock on our door. “Mom! Mom!”
“It looks like our kids are awake.” He said happily. I tried to stand up but Dylan hit me.
“Where do you think you’re going?” He said teasingly.
“I’ll open the door for Diana.”
“Don’t. We still have to do something our daughter shouldn’t see.” His eyebrows went up and down.
I was so close to his shoulder when his hand began to traverse under my nightgown. His palms found my chest and caressed it.
“Mom! Dad! Wake up! Lily and Alfonse are hungry!”
“Wait, my child. Tell Manang to cook your food.” It was Dylan who spoke because he knew, nothing would come out of my mouth but a growl.
“Okay, Dad.” My daughter said softly.
“Oh, my …” I only m****d when Dylan entered me.
After the hot scene, we took a shower together and left the room.
He held my waist pitying us down. “Do you still feel me?”
I looked at him badly. “We did it thrice. Duh. You’re insatiable, husband.”
He chuckled. “I won’t deny it.”
Our lips were about to apply when we heard footsteps. I pushed Dylan’s face away and our son came out of the kitchen.
“Good morning!” Greetings from my eldest daughter Diana.
“Dad, Kuya Alfonse took my teddy bear.” My youngest, Lily, complained to Dylan.
Dylan nodded. “Alfonse, give your brother’s doll back. You know he can’t sleep without it.”
“Yes.” Alfonse nodded.
Dylan messed up the hair of our second child. “Be good to your sisters, okay? You should protect them when I’m not around.”
He nodded and smiled. But his forehead immediately wrinkled as well. “Papa, what’s on your neck? Why is it red?”
I look at my husband’s neck and my cheek immediately blushed.
I hadn’t been in control of myself before so I didn’t even know what I was doing.
he smiled at my expression. “When it comes to me, your mother can’t control what kind of woman she becomes.”
“Dylan!”
