Chapter 1224 As Sherry's eyes widened in shock, she immediately threw herself at him.John raised his hands, keeping the phone out of her reach.

Despite jumping, no matter how high she leaped, she could not reach it. She grabbed John's collar and shouted, “Give me backthe phone!”

John smiled. “Get it if you really want it.”Sherry clenched her teeth. “Don't force me!”He grinned bewitchingly while keeping the phone high above her reach.

Sherry took a deep breath and jumped onto John, clinging onto him like an octopus before she climbed up to reach for herphone. She made her way up to his shoulder first and then clung to his neck to achieve balance. She reached upward for herphone, but before she could touch it, he put his hand down.

Sherry missed grabbing the phone. She wanted to get off him, but John caught her by the waist.She glared at her and shouted, “Release me!”

John curled his lips.

Thwack!

Something fell onto the floor.

John actually released her phone and dropped it on the floor.

Infuriated, Sherry shouted, “I mean me, not my phone!” “Oh?” He hummed and then released his hand holding her waist, butbefore she could even fall to the ground, he caught her with his other hand that was holding the phone.

Sherry sulked. “Get both your damn hands off me!”“Okay, but in a minute.” John then carried her to the bed.Astonished , Sherry looked at him cautiously. “What are you doing? Let me go!”

The moment her words subsided, John let go of her, dropping her onto the bed with a thud. His towering figure then dwarfedover her and robbed all her chances of escaping. He pinched her chin and sealed her mouth with a kiss.

No matter how hard she struggled or how hard she hit him, he overwhelmed her with the advantage of his physique.

The bed started to shake and squeak violently, and it lasted until midnight. The tiny room finally returned to peace and quiet afterthe vigorous sex.

The man got out of bed and started dressing.

Sherry lay on the bed for a while before crawling out and running barefoot to her phone.

The man narrowed his eyes and immediately extended his arms. His arm curled around her waist like a viper and pulled her intohis embrace.

Sherry struggled to break free from his restraint, but the slightest exertion of strength was more than enough to pin her down.He put his chin over her shoulder and smiled as he whispered into her ears, “Have | not satisfied you enough?”

Sherry froze. She clenched her teeth in silence and stopped struggling.

John put her back onto the bed and pulled the sheets over her. His warm hand stroked her face as the smile on his facewidened. “If you like the employee quarters that much, you can stay here.”

Sherry immediately turned around and showed her back to him.

Ignoring her, John smiled and continued putting on his clothes. After he was properly dressed , he walked to the door and pickedup her phone from the ground before leaving with it.

The room plunged into silence with his absence.

Sherry heard the outside door closing and the key turning in the lock. She hugged herself tightly as tears trickled down hercheeks.

Some time later, knocks came from outside the door.Sherry did not move or respond to the knocks.

“Sherry, it's me.” It was Queenie at the door.
