Mated To The Twin Alpha Heirs
Someone’s phone is missing.

Class had just finished and it was time for lunch. Katelyn had hooked my hand in hers and offered to see me off to the Salvatore cafeteria, I could not replace a way to reject her offer. She has been nice to me especially noticing how moody I had been. Even when the lecturer had been teaching, it had been a struggle to listen. My heart would not stop beating in fear. How would I go about avoiding this class? What options were left for me? Or should I run away? Run away? No, that was a very bad Idea. It was the most stupid idea in the history of ideas. Where would I run to? I had no one to care for me outside of here. There were no family members outside of Stone Shadow pack. Running away was automatically becoming a rogue. Moreover, what about my mom? I did not need to be selfish, she would worry herself to death. I'd not even be comfortable wherever I went. My mind had been in a haze since yesterday. I even forgot my phone as we left the class for lunch, I had to go back to collect it before returning to join Katelyn.

"You know when Aaron and I become a couple, I'd want our kids to look like him. He is so handsome. Especially the boys."

"Won't be bad if the girls look like you, you're beautiful too."

I replied just so she would not feel bad about me not listening or paying interest to what she was saying. Though, the Moon Goddess knows I was tired of listening to her talk my ear off about Aaron. If only she knew that was the last thing on my mind at the moment, but I could not tell her.

"You think so?" "Of course."

I was giving robotic response. My mind was not there. Even from my voice, one could tell my response were not based on interest, but one that was given to avoid lots of questions. Keeping up with Katelyn as a friend was tedious. She was always hyperactive and chirpy. I did not know how to turn people down or away, else I'd have done. I wanted to think but the girl was not allowing me. I just wanted to silently wallow in my predicament but she was in the mood for discussion. Her friends had attended lectures but they had totally ignored her and went somewhere to seat. And she, on the other hand, had cared less. She did not even glance at them. She had stuck with me all through and talked. Even when the lecturer had been teaching, she would still whisper words to me, sometimes I ignored her.

"We are here."

She announced so cheerfully like we had gotten to the venue of some kind of celebratory party.

The boys were standing there, obviously waiting for me. I loved their loyalty and unity. They were just too wonderful. At Katelyn's voice, they raised their head.

Lucas' expression changed. I did not miss that of Zach and Trenton's too. They were angry at her.

"Guys I'm so sorry for what happened yesterday."

She began apologizing immediately we got close to them.

"Don't ask to be allowed in here, Katelyn because the answer is no. Doesn't matter the strategy you bring this time." Lucas warned.

"No. I am not asking to be allowed in here. I just accompanied her here. I will be going to the cafeteria for my class." "You'd better be."

Zach told her. He also was not pleased by her.

"I just want you guys to forgive me. I'm sorry Lucas, Zach and Trenton."

"It's all right, no issue. Just don't do it again."

Lucas replied. He definitely was like me. Easy-going and soft-hearted. He found it easy to forgive and let go. "Really?"

"Yes."

"Alright, thank you guys so much."

Lucas and Zach nodded. Trenton just refused to even acknowledge her presence.

"How are you Kay?"

Her smile widened. "I'm fine Aaron. How are you?"

"I'm good. How was lecture?"

"It was okay. At least I had Katherina here as my seat mate. You did not tell me she was a genius."

"Oh, I was not even aware we have a genius in our home."

Aaron looked at me and smiled.

"She's just exaggerating."

"I'm not. The lecturer gave a pop quiz and it was so hard. I'd have failed if Katherina had not stepped in and saved the day."

"Stop it Katelyn. You're just exaggerating. The quiz was not that difficult."

"Yes it was."

"You did well yourself."

"I did rubbish, and I know that. You saw it and confirmed it."

"I only said you made few mistakes here and there."

"Then you went ahead to cancel everything."

I was searching for a reply but none came. "Okay, you win."

She laughed. "Alright guys, see you later."

She bade us goodbye and walked away towards the second year cafeteria.

"Can we go in now? I'm starving."

Lucas said already pushing the door open.

"Were you guys waiting for me?"

I already knew but I wanted to confirm from them.

"Yes. We all came in different times though."

Zach explained.

"Yes. It was me first. Then Zach and Trenton. Then Aaron. Then you."

Lucas clarified.

"Sorry for keeping you guys waiting. Let's go eat."

We proceeded to our usual position, perused our menu and updated each other on how our day had been so far. Lucas tried to force Trenton to engage in our discussion, the latter rewarded him with a pointed glare that did not seem to faze Lucas. Our food arrived and the first he did was pick a just-fried Irish potato and threw it at Trenton who plucked a grape a d hit Lucas square on the head.

We all laughed, except Trenton when he rubbed his forehead where the grape had touched him. Soon it turned into a food fight and even Aaron joined us. I forgot my troubles and joined in.

Food wasted, we were ushered inside to change our clothes. By the time we were back, another set of food had been served on our dining table. Wealth really is something.

We were done and the boys offered to see me to my class. On reaching my class, there was some commotion. Curious, the boys entered the class with me. "What is happening?"

I asked Katelyn who just stood with her arms folded.

"Someone's phone is missing."
