Mommy for Billionaire's Baby -
Chapter 53 b
Coincidentally, Merry was in the kitchen area. She hurried over to Tasya and asked the black-haired woman to sit with the big cup she had brought. But Tasya didn't want to. Instead, Tasya asked Merry to do other tasks. Making tea wouldn't tire her. Besides, what exactly was Tasya doing that she couldn't even make a cup of tea?
"Don't bother, Tasya," Sunny said, but her smile quickly returned as she looked at the cup Tasya had just offered her. She also brought some sweet cake slices as part of the gift. "Naina loves this cake. She eats a lot." Tasya smiled and nodded in agreement with Sunny's words. She knew a lot about Naina's likes, including this signature Moo-moo Roll cake.
"Why did Mama make it only for you?"
Tasya turned to the source of the voice.
"Oh! That's my favorite cake, right? I want some, Mama." Naina half-ran towards Tasya. "Where's mine?"
"Yes, be patient. Mama will prepare it for Oma first. You sit down for now." Tasya pouted, especially when she ran her hand through Naina's sweaty hair. "Oh dear, what have you two been up to? You're all sweaty." "Daddy's being annoying, Ma! He tickled me!"
"You're smothering Daddy. Don't cheat, huh? Daddy can't breathe, you know!" Nathan wasn't going to back down in a situation like this. Teasing Naina and making her angry was fun for him. He had no other intention because, for Nathan, teasing Naina was one of his hobbies.
"But Daddy held my hand so tightly." Naina stared in disbelief at Nathan. Even though it was her who couldn't breathe because of Nathan's antics! Why was she the one who was wrong? On purpose. Naina extended her hand, which had no marks at all. Her eyes stared at Tasya, pretending to be as pitiful as possible. "Look, it's turning blue! Daddy doesn't love me."
"Eh!" Nathan was flabbergasted. "No, I don't."
"That's enough." Tasya folded her hands across her chest. "Both of you are the same, causing a headache. Look, Oma Sunny hasn't been able to enjoy her tea and cake because you two keep making noise." "Daddy's the one at fault."
"Naina's the one at fault, Tasya. Not me." Nathan gave an annoyed look to Naina, who was glaring at him.
Tasya rolled her eyes in annoyance. "Both of you, sit down. I'll prepare your drinks."
The two of them... conspiratorially grinned, then high-fived each other, leaving Tasya shaking her head in bewilderment. She strolled over to the kitchen table to prepare their favorite drinks. But as soon as she left, there was already a commotion. Nathan would do anything just to hear Naina scream in frustration.
"If you can't be quiet, Mama won't make you drinks, okay?" Tasya gave them a sharp warning look. Only grins and nods were her response. It seemed like Nathan and Naina had come into Tasya's life to make it much livelier. Or did Tasya's arrival in their lives make them even closer to each other? Who knows.
There's only one thing that Sunny is truly grateful for now. In her eyes, her family is back. Even though they're a different version, as Jannet Sinclair and Noah Sinclair are calm types who don't talk much, now their two-story house, which was once cold and filled with loneliness, is suddenly bustling.
Ah... Herry Abraham should see these interactions more often. It seems like there's a special agenda for the two of them to visit here, right? Oh... along with Alexa, of course. The middle-aged woman doesn't want to miss out on the fun of watching Naina grow up in a family that loves her.
Uncle and auntie, Nathan and Tasya, love her wholeheartedly. Their roles have truly replaced the absence of Noah and Jannet now. Sunny feels truly lucky.

Nathan had just finished a report that suddenly required his concentration. It wasn't really urgent, but Nathan wasn't the type to procrastinate. Although he still had three days of leave left, he continued to monitor his work. He didn't want anything to slip through the cracks under his watch. According to Nathan, Faldom should be heading towards stability by now.
Farhan's legal process was still ongoing. Many documents were finally examined by the relevant parties for further investigation. Nathan didn't obstruct it; in fact, he asked all the divisions under his supervision to facilitate the process. Farhan needed to receive a fair punishment, and Nathan wanted the misused money to be returned.
Because of this, some clients' trust in Faldom had started to rise. This also made Nathan enthusiastic about researching one after another, even when he wasn't working. When they were in Arnhem Land yesterday, Tasya told him, "It's like I'm accompanying you to work. There's no sightseeing because my boss husband is busy."
In response to that, Nathan laughed heartily. He did feel a bit guilty, but what could he do? He couldn't afford to delay handling some offers that had come in. Fortunately, Tasya wasn't the type to seek attention. Besides, it was Tasya who helped him complete some reports. Still, Nathan limited these distractions. The maximum time they spent reading and reviewing emails was just three hours. The rest? Spent together.
Whatever that was.
That's why, since returning home this afternoon, where he spent a lot of time with Naina and her mother, Nathan wasn't too focused on his work screen. He checked the emails on his phone, which he had silenced for a while. "I'll be gone for a moment, okay?" Nathan looked at Tasya intently. They were in Naina's room, having a great time. The little girl was sharing all her test results, even though they were just preliminary grades. But in Nathan's eyes, Naina's achievements had improved significantly.
"Is it work?" Naina asked with her innocent gaze. She had just closed the assessment book regarding her personality at school, showing off to her Daddy and especially Tasya.
"Yeah. Just a moment."
Naina grinned widely. "So, Daddy's busy, right?"
Tasya sighed softly. She wanted to protest and ask Nathan to spend a little more time with Naina after their honeymoon. At the very least, Ronan shouldn't be in charge of Faldom for a while. But seeing Nathan's slightly irritated expression made Tasya hold back. She was somewhat surprised to see Naina suddenly hugging her.
"Why, Naina?"
"I'll sleep with Mama Tasya tonight, okay? Daddy's busy with work, Mama Tasya is with me. Yeayy!" Naina was thrilled, which made Tasya frown in confusion. But inevitably, she gently stroked Naina's head as the little girl hugged her tighter. Nathan, who saw this, just laughed. "Okay, tonight Mama Raptor sleeps with baby Raptor."
Hearing Nathan's words, Naina frowned in disagreement. "No way! I'm not a Raptor!"
"What's next?" Nathan teased, poking Naina's split chin. In his mind, Naina was still child. She used to ask to be carried around, whine about this and that. He didn't realize how much time had passed, and soon Nathan would be dealing with her teenage antics. He had to take care of his only niece really well and ensure she didn't end up with the wrong crowd. Scary!
"Definitely not a Raptor!" She brushed Nathan's hand away somewhat roughly. Her face was pouting. "I'm the child of Aunt Jannet Sinclair and Mama Tasya."
"Yeah, yeah," Nathan laughed heartily. "Alright, can Daddy work now?"
