When Debby opened the door, Harry was standing outside the room, with the same stoic look he always had

"I am here to propose another offer." He said emotionlessly.

Debby stared at him for a moment, and urged him to go on with the proposal.

"I am not going to make you my mistress but you are going to be staying under my roof and when you replace a man that loves you, only then can you go. However, we need to divorce first." Harry revealed.

"That is not a bad proposal." Debby replied, thinking through the proposal. She was glad within that she would divorce him but wouldn't be called Harry's mistress. "I consent to the divorce." She said wholeheartedly.

Harry walked away from her room to get the divorce paper from his room and returned back. He didn't know why his heart was feeling a dull pain, it was as if he was about to loose something treasurable. He handed the papers over to Debby, who was at the brink of signing it, when she was stopped right in her track.

"What?" Debby wondered why he had stopped her.

Harry was totally confused on what he wanted. He couldn't allow Debby out of his loins so easily. Harry snatched the divorce paper from her leaving Debby with a confused look

"Give me some time to go through this proposal." Harry had reasoned that there was only one person he had sex with five years ago. There was the confusion on who it could possibly be. Edna asserted she was the one, but Debby was the one with a child. The truth needed to be figured out.

*I will take you to my Grandfather's place tomorrow. We need to check up on his health. It has been a long time since we go there. I believe my grandfather would be glad to see you." Harry claimed.

"Okay." Debby replied and was about closing the door, when Harry placed his hands on the door, preventing her from closing it.

"Sorry..." He forced himself to say.

Debby was shocked and confused. She had never heard such word from Harry before. "Why are you apologizing?" She asked.

"I am apologizing for all the things I have done. The reason why I am apologizing is because you are the mother to my child. But I am not going to forget the fact that you are the daughter of my enemy and when I had him within my grasp, you allowed him escape." Harry explained.

"One thing is Certain..." He moved close to Debby, leaving no gap between them. "I would never fall in love with you, Debby Alessandro.

I will try to be good to you regardless." He finished off.

Debby sighed, dropping her face to the floor. "There is no problem then." She said, and moved back, trying to close the door, but was once again stopped by Harry.

"I am not done with you" Harry said.

"What else do you have to say to me? You have made it clear you hate me." Debby said in a harsh tone, much to the surprise of Harry. She spoke like that cause his words hurt her.

The truth is, Harry usually had a night mare about his traumatic past.

This had always left him sleepless as he was scared of revisiting that trauma. The only time he had successful slept well was when he had slept with Fred

"Sleep with me tonight." He said this time, less harshly

Debby was outright going to reject, but had a second thought about it.

She noticed how soft he had spoken to her about it. "Alrighf then, I will spend the night with you." Harry smiled and eventually let go of the -door.

Later that night, Debby moved to Fred's room, after tucking Fred to sleep comfortably. She moved over to Harry's room and subsequently slept side by side with him.

The next morning, Harry woke up to discover she was gone and what actually surprised him, was the fact that he had slept without those nightmares coming to hunt him at night. This gave him hope that Debby was truly special after all.

Meanwhile, Debby had left Harry's room early to prepare for work. She had ensured Fred goes to school with the aide of Sarah her maid, before going to her work place.

Debby was totally engrossed into a contract letter that had been dropped down by one important client, when she received a letter to head over to the board of director's room for query.

Debby wondered what she had done wrong. She searched through her memory on whether or not she had contravened against the corporation policy, but none was forth coming.

She head over to the board of director's room. The moment she opened the door, all eye were fully on her, making her nervous. The looks they gave her, was scary and Debby could only hope it was not serious.

"Miss Debby, certainly you know why we called you here don't you?"

One of the male directors spoke first.

Debby looked around as they all expected her to answer the question.

"I am sorry, but I have no idea sir." She replied innocently.

"Three days ago, there was a report that a transfer of a sum of five hundred thousand dollars, meant to boost the corporation's transportation department was made to a personal account. We had our cyber security experts check it and we discovered that the money was wired to your account." Debby gasped in shock at the accusation leveled against her.
