"I have never involved myself in such a heinous act before." Debby spoke quickly, debunking the allegation swiftly.

One of the members of the board of directors turned to look at the rest and they seemed to have communicated with their eyes. "Well then, how about you check your account for us right now, would you?" He pulled a laptop towards Debby.

The corporation had all the accounts of their staffs. Whenever it was time for remuneration, they used the accounts as a means to pay.

Debby stared at the members of the board, before proceeding to insert her account number on the laptop. After she had done this, the server loaded till it brought forward her details. Debby gasped, seeing the last transaction being a credit alert of the exact same amount.

"Now who is lying, miss Debby.?" Debby was speechless. She pulled out her phone from the breast pocket of her blazer and checked her phone's notification to realize that she had an unread notification from days back, which was a wired transfer to her account. *All evidence is clear and points towards you Miss Debby, there are no need to act all innocent and dramatic." She couldn't replace the right words to say.

There hasn't been a time she used money in the past three days. How such an outrageous amount ended in her account remained a mystery to her.

*Having seen first hand that you are nothing but a fraudulent person, the board of directors, acting as an independent board, in the interest of Vernon's corporation, with the powers bestowed on us to hire and

fire statis, hereby declare that you, Miss Debby Alessandro is relieved off your duty as personal assistant to the C.E. O and also as a member of the corporation. You are to leave the premises immediately!" Debby s heart shook fearfully, tears gently fall off her face. This was a crime she hadn t committed

She began to wonder where she got it wrong. Things weren't working right for her and there was nothing she could do about it.

Slowly, she stood up from the floor and received her letter of termination and got out of the board room. On her way out of the board room, she bumped into Edna, who had a smirk on her face.

"Seems to me like someone just got sacked off their work...." Debby contained herself not to react to her step-sister's mockery. ".And to think I always thought you are a good person. Guess the devil would always be a saint before being revealed off his true colors." Debby turned to look at her step sister. "It is not the end of the world dear sister. I will replace another job and I will continue my strive." Edna continued to make a mockinh laughter till she sensed Harry coming from afar. She realized that she could pull her vindictive card once more on Debby then she suddenly pulled Debby alongside herself to the floor.

"My Belly!" Edna shouted out loud, much to a confused Debby.

Meanwhile, Harry and Horace, who was right behind him, saw the scenes and rushed towards the two women, pulling them off against each other.

"What is going on here?" Harry directed his question to Debby.

*I was trying to initiate a conversation with my step-sister and for some reason, she pushed me to the floor." Debby was shocked by the lies that her step-sister had leveled against her. She turned to look at Harry, who was already looking at her. Debby was certain there was no way Harry would believe her on this.

She remembered the last time Edna had pulled such a trick and Harry ended up locking her because of it.

Meanwhile, Harry stared at Debby wondering if she was capable of doing such a thing. He wasn't looking at the scene that happened Horace was the one that had drew his attention to it and realized that only Horace knew what actually happenend "You are the only one that saw what happened Horace, so give me the details." Debby turned to stare at Horace, hoping he would have actually seen the exact thing that happened.

"Miss Debby had caused Miss" Edna here to fall to the floor and that was why I drew your attention to it, sir." Horace had actually seen a wrong thing. He was watching from an angle that seemed as though Debby was the one that caused Edna to fall down. Debby stared at Horace in disbelief and eventually turned to Harry. "I know you wouldn't believe me, so there is no need further explain myself" She resigned not to bother to give a valid explanation. She could feel the smirk of Edna from her peripheral vision and she wished she had actually pushed Edna.

"Horace, I want you to attend to Edna. Make sure she is okay." Harry instructed his personal assistant and turned to Debby. "Come with me now!" Edna stood up from the ground weakly and dust off her body and followed Harry out of the hallway, while Edna watched her with disdain.

When they arrived at Harry's office, Debby closed the door behind as Harry had instructed and made his way over to her side.

"Why did you do it? Why did you push Edna? Don't you know Edna is pregnant? If anything ever happens to my child, you will be on my death list," Harry warned with rage written in his eyes.

"I didn't push Edna, she is just making things up by herself. She wanted to make it look that way." Harry's stoic expression, softened a bit. He didn't understand why his intuition was making him believe Debby this time around.

He moved away from her, his arms inside his two pockets as he walked up to the window. "I have confirmed that Broderick Alessandro is back at North Hill." He turned to look at Debby, who was surprised by the news revealed to her.

I want you to go to North Hill and bring him back here, only then can you obtain my favor."

Debby thought about what Harry had said for a moment. She actually want to meet Broderick herself, she wanted to show Broderick that she was his daughter and not Edna. She wanted to enjoy the feeling of having someone to hold, someone to call a parent. "Are you going or should I have the deal with someone else?" Harry asked. He had a reason for wanting to send Debby over to lure Broderick back to Darkwood.

Debby knew what her answers would be.
