It's a known fact that Tremaine wasn't like he used to be.

He was now a married man.

"Mr. Tremaine." Sheldon called out as he walked unperturbed up to his boss.

He was afraid that Tremaine would react impulsively, thus he stood in his way in order to be able to hold him back in time.

But Tremaine completely ignored him.

Or rather, he didn't even listen to what he said at all.

There was only Yesseca in his eyes.

The rest were all insubstantial.

When Sheldon took note that Tremaine's eyes were trained straight at Yesseca, he winked repeatedly at Preslie as a sign to quickly take Yesseca away with her.

Contrary to what he expected though, Preslie didn't get it at all.

She even assumed that his constant winking meant that he wanted her to match Yesseca up with Tremaine.

This, of course, did not make her happy.

Don't mention that in the past Yesseca was just plain unwilling to be together with Tremaine, it's even more impossible now that he's married.

What was Mr. Hawls thinking?

To even want her to push these two together, did he want Yesseca to be the third wheel in this love triangle?!

She refused!

With that in mind, Preslie couldn't hold back but stressed, "Mr. Hawls, you can stop winking at me. Tremaine is already married, therefore he should be well aware of his own identity and not harbor any more undeserved delusions towards other women!" That sentence seemed to be directed towards Sheldon on the surface, when in actual fact it was meant for Tremaine.

She had also seen his gaze fixed unerringly on her friend, all right!

She was just giving him a reminder!

Sheldon's face turned gray when he heard what she said.

What a pig-like teammate!

At least now he understood what that meant! As Preslie and Sheldon had noticed Tremaine's gaze, naturally Yesseca wasn't ignorant to it... She just pretended not to see it.

Her face was a picture of calm as she looked at Sheldon, "Since wez accidentally crashed into your car just now, whatever the amount you need we would bear the full cost of repairs."

There's no way Sheldon would have these two ladies repay anything, hence he immediately replied, "It's no issue."

"We will pay what should be paid," Yesseca insisted. "Just give us a rough estimation."

"There's no need, no harm was done," Sheldon refuted once more.

However, Yesseca remained firm in her stance that this must be paid off!

Just as he was stuck in this dilemma, Tremaine all of a sudden spoke out, "Sheldon, tell them the sum."

Since Tremaine had given the word,

Sheldon could only bite the bullet and report the number. Yesseca immediately took out a wad of cash, passed it over to him and then turned around straight into the car.

Before Prestie joined her, she told Sheldon that she wanted to turn the corner into Clementine Residential, therefore could Mr. Hawls first

reverse his car to let them through?

She wasn't enough of an expert to navigate through this narrow, winding trail. If Sheldon did not back out first, she's afraid she wouldn't be able to drive past.

On the other hand, Sheldon was so stupefied he blurted out, "You're going to Clementine Residential? So am I."

Preslie's eyes went wide. "You too? But what are you doing over there?"

Before he could answer though, Tremaine's deep voice pronounced, "Sheldon, return to the Quartley Palace."

Since Tremaine had given the order, Sheldon could not say anything more. He had no choice but to reverse the car and head in the opposite direction towards the palace.

It wasn't that far into the drive when Tremaine suddenly spoke out from the back, "Sheldon, do you know why she insisted on paying for repairs?"

Sheldon didn't know either.

Or rather, even if he did, he wouldn't dare divulge his true thoughts.

Tremaine's mouth curled up into a lonely smile before he looked out the window.
