Anger and disappointment boil through me as I march across thegarden to the gazebo, when I reach it I plop down onto the swingholding the blanket Phoenix gave me up to my chin as I lay on thecushions, the wind is strong enough that the bench swings a littlewithout me having to push it. I can't believe him. I can't believe hewould just walk off and allow innocents to be slaughtered like cattle.What the hell was wrong with him? Screwing my eyes shut tightly, I press my hands against her chestand begin to chant. Maria begins to cough and gag on my blood, shepushes me away from her as she begins to cough up any blood sheconsumed that belongs in my body. I stopped them from beingharmed after I realised how much of a dick I was being " He sighs. Asigh of relief passes my lips. * Thank you. " Maria cries out in anger asshe sprints towards my mate's back, in an attempt to catch him offguard. I push him to the side, holding my palms out and screamingloudly. A large burst of energy courses through the air, making thetrees shake and Maria fly through the air. I fall to the ground, gaspingfor breath. all I hear is Kai cursing as the world around me turns black.
