Valerie had already left when I took Anne out of the study room after feeding her. Hendrix was in the living room, talking to Evan on work-related matters.

Hendrix hung up his phone upon seeing me. He took Anne over into his arms and asked," What would you want to eat?"

I held his hand and said softly, "Anything is fine!"

Our life seemed to be more relaxed with the midwives in the villa. Hendrix would take Anne with him everywhere he goes. We also had better rest with the midwives taking care of Anne at night.

I have gained a lot of weight lately. Ucrebury was located in the south, so it began to enjoy springlike warmth in early February.

On New Year's Eve, Sawyer and lan came to Flora Hill. Our house became lively.

Aaron called, requesting me to pick him up at the airport. I passed the phone to Hendrix as he happened to be by my side.

"Be careful while you are on the road!" Hendrix told me after he spoke to Aaron.

"Tell me what he said to you, that you are willing to let your wife pick him up?" I asked curiously.

He burst into laughter, "Charles is with him and he had specifically requested you to go. I want to go with you, but are you sure you can manage cooking the dinner yourself?"

I quickly shook my head. It was cumbersome preparing the New Year's Eve dinner, so I promptly took the car keys and left Flora Hill.

It was only a forty-minute drive from Flora Hill to the airport. Perhaps it was because of New Year's Eve. Traffic was more congested than usual.

I was stuck on the highway. The Ferrari in front of me carried an exclusive car plate number. I thought to myself, "Freaking rich!"

"Bang!" I went blank for a moment beyond shock until I couldn't speak because I was not stepping on the accelerator at all.

My car had never moved. How could it suddenly hit the Ferrari?

A man in a suit wearing sun sunglasses stepped out of the Sapphire Ferrari. He was dressed in a custom-tailored suit, which made him look particularly dashing. "Knock knock!" I wind down as the man knocks on my car window.

I looked up at the man and said, "Hi, I was..."

"It's my fault. Please check your car condition to file for my insurance claim!" The man said with a serious tone.

I was dumbstruck. The traffic was still congested, so I got out of the car with my mobile phone and took some photos of my car's condition.

I suddenly felt dizzy. I went unconscious just seconds before I knew something bad was going to happen.

Life is unpredictable & uncertain at every stage, we will never know what happens next.

I was lying on a hotel bed when I woke up. My clothes were all over the floor, as well as a used condom. Even a fool would know what had happened.

I suddenly felt a sharp pain in my chest, and I was lost and perplexed. I didn't have any clothes on me.

I got out of bed and fell onto the ground. When my feet touched the floor, I had no strength at all.

I reached out to grab the clothes scattered on the ground.

"Bang!" The hotel room door was forced open. A man came into the room, a look of great bitterness swept across his face.

As they looked into each other's eyes, his pupil enlarged. Anger flooded his veins, the rage stirred within him.

"Will you trust me if I said I don't know what had happened?" I covered myself with clothes. I asked him as my body began to shake terribly.
