I made my way downstairs and towards the kitchen, I had to make sureno one could tell I was angry and annoyed or it would mean trying toexplain things that I really didn't want to at this present time.

I still couldn't believe the rogue king had managed to get into ourhouse, he is a sneaky bastard that was for sure.

Biting my lip I stop a growl from slipping out.

Pushing my thoughts to one side I start making a coffee and then startmaking chocolate chip cup cakes. While I baked up a storm xaidencame in and watched me like a hawk.

"Mummy why are you cooking so much.?" I smile at him as he frowns inconfusion.

"Well I do have a little wolf who likes to eat everything.” I grin at him ashe giggles, he was the one thing in life that kept me going, I couldn'tlet anything happen to him ever.

"Your silly mummy,” he shakes his head with a small grin on his face. Iturn back to the oven and take out strawberry white choc cookies, andplace the choc raspberry swirl cake in the oven.

"You only cook lots when your really angry.” I stop dead at his words, how could he see right through my act. He surely is very observantwhich made me very proud.

Slowly I turn to look at him, he's watching me again but now a frowncreeps onto his face.

"I'm just thinking how my baby boy is growing up so fast, it makes me alittle sad to think one day you will be all grown up and replaceing yourown mate.” It wasn't a lie, I had been thinking of it lately. My son getsoff the chair and comes around the bench to throw his arms around mywaist. I hug him back and place a kiss on his head.

"I will never leave you mum, my mate will live with us." His sweet wordsmade me laugh as I pictured him and his mate living in my house.

"We will see my baby boy, now how's about we go see if daddy ishungry.” Xaiden grabs my hand and pulls me towards the hallwaywhere we head to Xander's office. I knock on the door as Xaiden pushesit open, I shake my head at his eagerness to see his father.

"Daddy mums been baking lots and lots, will you come eat with us?" Hescreams out and jumps on his father. I stare at them both from thedoor, I freeze once other scents hit me and quickly look around theroom to see four other people in here.

"I'm sorry for intruding, Xaiden let's go eat and daddy will be out soon.”I say to my son, a skinny little red haired women stares at me withhatred. I smile sweetly at her, Xaiden stands at my side and I decide topick him up. We move out of the room and head back the way wecame.

"Did you smell that horrible smell mummy?" Xaiden tries to whisper, Ibite back a laugh. I new exactly what it was he could smell, hatred andjealousy.

"Someone must be wearing horrible smelling spray.” I try to change thesubject but he interrupted me.

"No it was coming from that women, it was bad. Maybe she's need abath.” He was so innocent that I couldn't help but to burst outlaughing.

"Maybe honey.” Was all I could say. I sat him in a stool at the bench andlet him eat away at the food.

I watched him as I leaned up against the sink with a coffee in my hands. To think we went through so much in five years and he still comes outsmiling and happy. It just goes to show how strong he really is."Mummy, can I ask you something?" Xaiden small voice breaks my trainof thought.

"Of course honey, you know you can ask me anything?" I tell himleaning on the same bench to show him he has my full attention.

"Well I had this dream, it was about a big man who turns into amonster. He was trying to hurt you and made me watch. It felt so realand it scared me." I grab his hand in mine and kiss the palm.

"Baby Boy it was only a dream, no one will ever hurt you or mummy, where safe here with daddy.” I tried to make my words soundconvincing but from the look on his tiny face I knew it wasn't working.Even I knew we wouldn't be safe here, but I couldn't really tell him thatnow could I.
