By the time I reached my room and threw off my dress, my anger hadsubsided to a minimal in my body. I changed into shorts and a singletand then grabbed my phone. I pressed one and then pressed videochat only to wait for my mother to pick up on her end of the call.

"Hi baby girl.” I smile at my mother, who has chocolate on her face."Mum, did you give him chocolate again?" she has the grace to blush atme like a little school girl.

"Maybe, he begged me Lilliana, what was I meant to say when he pullsthat cute little innocent look?” I laughed at her trying to pout.

"He does it cause he knows you will give in mum." this time she laughsand I know no matter what I say she will always give in to her grandson."I know, but he's just like you at that age, your daddy could never sayno to you when you pulled that same look.” I saw her face change asthough she was reliving the past. I knew exactly what she meant, mydad always crumbled every time I pulled out the pouty face.

"Is Xaiden still awake Ma?" she turns the phone around so that I couldsee the lounge room, where my father is laying on the sofa with mylittle boy snuggled up into his poppy.

"they just passed out, did you want me to wake him for you dear?" mymother as as she turns the phone back to facing her. Her bright blueeyes shine back at me with so much happiness in them. I shake myhead at her question.

"so guess who's in town right at this very moment?* I ask her with myeye brows raised.

"Who?" of course she wouldn't even try to guess.

"my one nightmare and he'll bringer.” I grumble in annoyance, mymother gasp in shock and then blinks a few times. I was a little worriedthat she may have gone into shock.

"what does he want?" her eyes had changed to a darker blue meaningher anger now showed on her face

"don't worry mum, he hasn't seen me, he came for the Alpha partyhere, but I did run into beta Sanders who has gracefully told him that Iam here in town.” I admit to her, I held back my hurt and frustration somy mother wouldn't know anything is up.

"com back home then sweetie.” she begs in a caring voice, I watch as asmall tear falls down her cheek.

"l will not run mother you know that.* no reply she just nodded herhead at me and then smiles sadly.

"so how was he today?" I ask changing the subject back to my son. Ilistened as she told me about his day and how well he had done.Apparently he is a true leader and has already managed to control hiswolf to become one.

She spoke for another hour before we both decided to hang up. I walkinto the kitchen and make noodles. I sat there eating away in my ownlittle world at my table.

I jumped out of my seat and grab a knife, before I slowly walk up to thefront door.

My poor door was getting a beating from the other side. Quietly Isneak up to the door and look out from the peep hole, I freeze when Ican only see a broad chest. My heart missed a beat as my wolf growlsin my head. slowly we back away from the door and make our way tothe bedroom where I locked it and stood next to my bed.

(how dare he come here after five years of nothing.) I grumble tomyself, my wolf growls in agreement.

"Lilly I know your in there, open the damn door." I hear him tell out inanger and frustration, I ignore him and grab my phone and send a textto Mulan asking for help as the devil is on my front door

she soon texted back with sorry can't step in.

My first thought was shit I'm in big fucking trouble now.

my second thought was fuck him, this is his fault anyway.

That's when I decided to walk out of the bedroom and into the loungeroom.

"open the fucking door Lillian." I hear his demand and smirk at the factit does not work on me. his deep voice still sends chills down my spinethough

"Sorry we don't except guest after ten pm, come back never." I say as Isit on the arm of the sofa and stared at my front door.

"let me in little mate.” I cringe at the word mate but still I don't complyto his wishes.

“I'm not your mate any more." I growl out at him and he bangs on mydoor harder this time.

"you still bear my mark Lilly so by law your still mine.” I hold back myscream and think wisely before speaking again.

"what your second mate can't keep you satisfied, so you thought youwould come knocking on my door, or is it you can't keep her satisfied?"I laugh when I hear his deep angry grow! that shakes my house. Before Iknew it he has my door flying across the room. I watch him standingthere with his eyes closed and taking deep breaths.

"still you push my buttons.” I hear him grumble under his breath. pailblue eyes look straight at me and the first thing I see is longing in hiseyes, which makes me roll mine at him

"I see you still have anger issues.” I tell him, slowly he walks towards me."what else do you expect when my mate runs away for five years." hiswords made me jump up and glare at him.

"One - I am no longer your mate,

Two - I would rather die then be with you and your whore.

Three - you have no one but yourself to blame for this." my voice cameout strong as I front up to him. his gorgeous eyes have now changed tobright blue colour, where I know mine are a dark purple from my wolfshowing she is pissed off big time. He takes a step forward in achallenging way, but I don't back down and this pisses him off andanother step forwards is made.

"Learn your place mate." that was all my wolf and I needed to launchour selves at him. my actions stunned him as I tackle him to the groundand throw a few punches at his face. He tries to grab me but I jump upand over the other side of my sofa.

"I'm not you mate anymore, once you marked your second mate, minevanished, I have no ties to you, now leave mate." I tell at him, I didn'tcare how he felt now.

"I need your help Lilliana.” he begged softly, before I know it he's infront of me.

"no Dontae.” I reply and walk off towards the bedroom where I lock mydoor and then fall face first into my bed. I scream into my pillow fromthe built up anger and frustration that my ex mate had just put methrough.

It didn't take me long to fall asleep curled up on top of my blankets onmy bed
