I couldn't stand everyone's attention on me and the king's beta, so theminute we hit the bottom and the crowd stormed in on us, I let him goand made my way through the crowd of people until I reached the backwhere a large table with food was standing. I smiled when I saw thesalad sandwich with salami, I had to eat them

"I'm glade you could make it Miss Martain.” I look up to see Mr Cooper,the host for tonight. His grey hair was styles back away from his faceand his grey eyes smiled down at me.

"it's a pleasure to be here sir." I say in a business like way, this seems toplease him as he loops my arm through his and pulls me outside wherea line of cars are sitting. All of which are the latest models out.

"I've noticed you have been fixing many newer model cars lately. " Inod to his question, he's right though, in the last six months I've hadmore newer type of vehicles coming into my shop the normal.

"and your painting designs on each car are very unique.” I look up athim with a questioning look. I wasn't sure what he was getting at."what is it that your getting at Mr Cooper?" I told my hands behind meat my lower back as I give him a challenging stare.

"I have a few people who have asked about you doing their vehicles."and with that I new there was a but coming afterwards.

"but..."it took him a few seconds to answer my one question.

"these are no normal vehicles, they are made for specifically racing inthe streets. Each driver wants there own hand painted design that hasnever been done before." slowly I walk down the Isle, staring at eachcar. each one was different and each one had its unique style andstrength and yet the one thing that all had in common is that they haverich drivers who after twelve months changes there cars.

“I'l have to think about it and have a talk to my partner.” that was theonly answer I could really give him at the moment. I would have to talkto Mulan about this tomorrow and see what she thought of all of this.before we could say anything else someone decided to clear therethroats. I new by there smell that it was the beta who was behind us."good afternoon beta Sanders, and how are you enjoying the show sofar?" while Mr Cooper spoke I decided to make my way down the restof the cars. in total I counted seventy cars, one row of new types andones of old styles. I couldn't stop the smile from forming on my face asI stared at the 1970 mustang in deep blue.

"this would have to be my next car.” I shook my head at beta Sanderswho was grinning at the car like he new it's dirty secrets.

"Are you following me Mr Sanders?" I enquire with a glare, slowly heturns to stare at me.

"come now Lil, where old friends are we not?" this made me glareharder at him.

"that was in my past Anthony, after everything that happened and thenfor you all to just stand there watching me as I walked away broken.”Mt anger started to bubble as I thought of my past and the shit I wentthrough. At least it made me stronger.

"I had no choice Lil, when he found his second second mate. but thatdidn't mean you had to run.” now it was his turn to be pissed, his handsclenched into fist at his side.

"it was either that or live in hell and I'd be fucked if I came secondagainst that bitch after all she did to me.” I watched his eyes glare atme and change to a darker brown.

"you should not talk about her like that." he growled out at me, I burstout laughing, wrapping my arms around my stomach as I did so. bynow Anthony was confused an a little concerned by my behaviour.Suddenly I stopped and stared at him as though nothing had justhappened

"or what beta? you going to go tell your king and Queen that I've beena bad girl? He won't care, just like he hasn't for the last five years."sadness crossed his face, the minute I was his eyes starting to glazeover I threw a punch at his face.

"What the hell was that for Lol?" he demands as he holds his jaw,without answering I throw a left hook at his nose and grin as I hear itbreaking.

"Damn it women, stop hitting me." no way could I take him seriously asblood fell from his nose.

"don't mind link him." with that I walked away.

"to late Lilliana, he knows your here now.” I heard him say as I growl outand walk back into the room, quickly I made my way through the crowdand back up the stairs.

I growled once I got into my ute and slammed the vehicle into reverse,not waiting any time as I flew down the road, speeding towards myhouse.

I parked in the car port and locked the rolling door before entering myhouse.
