Once Rejected, Thrice Accepted -
Chapter 104
The mall was actually more fun than I had imagined it to be. After hearing all those prissy girls in my former pack talk about the mall I thought it was just there so that you could meet cute guys and buy these really ugly outfits.
They always wore sparkly pink skintight outfits that showed everything wrong with their flat asses and no titty bodies. Shaming them was not a fun pastime but they started it. They always talked about how skinny I was and I didn't eat because I thought it made you look sexier. The fact I didn't eat was because of their crap pack leaders and my delusional fake parents.
"Okay so we've had food, we got Gemma her first Boba Tea, and we have hit a few different stores without her buying anything." Britt looked at me knowingly. "I am under strict orders for you to go home with several bags with things for you, that were bought by you, and picked by you. You need to get your head in the game is this."
"Fine. I'm just letting you know that I'm not going to be happy about this." They rolled their eyes at me and shoved me in the next store.
By the time I looked up I was regretting agreeing to anything. Cherry had got her wish and I ended up in a lingerie store. It was some safe items that I tried to go for.
The girls cut me off saying some granny panties were not allowed until I purchased at least three sexy things.
"What about this one?" Olivia held up a bright blue push-up lace bra and wiggled her eyes at me. "It even comes with a matching thong. I bet the guys would like this one."
*You know I think they would like these edible underwear and bra sets. They come in ten different flavors." Cherry teased as my eyes widened.
"It brings a whole new light when they see their eating a snack." Allie whistled at me.
I felt my cheeks get hot and I knew they were red. Why did I let them bring me here? Why did I suggest a girl's day?
Cass had voted to stay outside with one of the warriors and send the other two in with us. The two that were with us were bright red in the face and you could see how nervous they were. Every time one of the girls held up something for me and teased me they couldn't even look at us. I felt so bad when I knew the girls were doing it just so that the warriors would get more embarrassed, but I figured it was good for them. One day would have a mate or daughter pull the same stunt.
I ended up picking out five different lingerie outfits to wear with the guys with Cherry adding a second set of each of them in a different color. So we ended up with a total of 10 but I made sure that I also got new panties that were of my choice that had no s*x appeal. They were comfy, had cute pictures on them, and covered my whole booty. I rushed the girls out after paying.
'Gemma, I smell something. I smell something bad!
Moonlight had stood up and I could feel her hackles rising.
"Someone bad is here. We need to go.
I trust you but how do you know? I don't want to panic anyone and send the warriors into a frenzy without completely understanding! I link her making sure she felt my trust in her.
I don't know how to explain it but the best way to is whatever we see an aura on someone who's lying to us and we just feel it in our bones. We could feel the wrongness or the dirty in it. That's the way this feels!
'Okay Moonlight keep your senses out by get everyone together to talk to them.'
I pulled everyone into huddle while I looked around seeing if we had anyone following us. They were all discussing what we were going at it next and where we were going to eat lunch. I hated to ruin the fun but I couldn't say that it was fine to be in danger because we were shopping.
"Guys need you to focus on me." My serious tone quieting them as their eyes focused on me. "Moonlight senses someone bad is here. She does not explain it but-"
"She doesn't have to explain it. Her senses have always been right sis. How bad are we talking?" Britt stated honestly earning her a small smile. "We need to know I whether we need to blend into the crowd or if they've already locked onto us so we need to go as fast as possible."
I looked to my left and noticed two men not even looking to blend in staring at us. "I'm going to go with that second one sis."
Everyone turned and saw the men. The warriors were instantly on high alert doing their best to surround us. The guys watching us didn't move but I could see a smirk on their face like they thought we were scared of them. I wanted to rip them to pieces for ruining our day. "There's a side door in the opposite direction of those two.
"
We will stay as a group with Gemma and Lydia in the middle. "I want to argue but everyone shook their head.
Gemma they want you. Your old pack along with the packs that are siding with them will do everything in their power to take you out. Strategically it's their best move and it will help them win. Please just stay in the middle and we get outside and make it run for the vehicle." "Okay." I grabbed Lydia's hand and held tight.
Cass took the front with one of the warriors in the other three were behind us. We tried to blend in as much as possible but we are moving together like one of those big hamster balls I saw one of the kids in the pack have. We almost ran a few people over. If this wasn't such a dangerous situation I would've been laughing.
"s**t. Faster." Cass growled with us instantly doing as he ordered
I looked over to our right and saw two more men watching us. They had similar outfits to the other two in their field suggested that they were just normal humans. I wasn't close enough to smell the wolf on them by their auras I knew they weren't the good kind of wolves.
We rushed down the side core door doing our best to stay together. I could hear the four of those guys falling behind us but they were in a rush. It's like they weren't trying to get to us or scare us in the right direction. "Ca*s I don't think we should"
He slammed the doors open before I could finish my sentence leading us straight into eight wolves waiting for us. Four more came out of the door to the right of us with the original four bringing up the rear and slamming the doors behind us. We were surrounded. "I would leave if I were you. If you try to fight us you will lose and we won't be letting any of you live." Cass growled out.
One of the men chuckled with the others falling behind us.
It looks like we found out who the leader was and he looked stupider than the rest. With his posture reminding me of a gorilla with his hunched back and long arms just dangling to the side I could barely take him seriously.
"We have you outnumbered and more coming. Were not scared of you. Are we boys?" He chuckled with all of his men answering no.
"It's your death." Cass stated with a blank face.
"You give us Gemma and the rest of you can walk out of here alive. We wont kill her, promise." His smiled revealed his rotting teeth.
It finally clicked on who they were. 'Cass, they are rogues.' I know!'
"Sorry but that won't be happening. Now get!" Cass pushed his power into his voice but since they were rogues for way too long it had no effect on them.
"Get em' boys. Make sure to leave Gemma breathing and able to walk."
The rogues attacked, forcing everyone to move farther apart. I kept Lydia with me pulling her closer and hugging her tightly to me. I could feel her fear and could hear her wolf talking with Moonlight. Seems like she wants to fight but Moonlight told her no. She wasn't ready and couldn't chance someone seeing her shift so young. Everyone was fighting and some of us were taking on two.
No one had let a wolf passed them so they couldn't get to us. Britt was the closest to me which I was thankful for.
When the wolf she was fighting rolled toward us I kicked him so he couldn't get up giving Britt the chance to finish him off.
"Thanks for the assist." I nodded
I felt two sharp tugs in my heart sending my focus on everyone around us seeing two of our warriors down.
Listening closely they weren't breathing. They were dead.
"Britt, hold onto Lydia." I snarled at two wolves came closer.
Thanded her off and ran at the two.
I dodged running into Lindy and came at them from the side. I leapt at them knocking them to the ground. I got up on my knees punching thorough one of their throats killing him before focusing on the other one. "Big mistake." I growled choking him.
"I have...info..."
I let go and punched him knocking him out. I didn't want to tell him he only delayed his death or hear what he had to say here. I looked up seeing all the rogues dead except for my blabber mouth and the leader. "Cass kill him I have the one we need."
He did as I asked and ran at the leader ripping his heart out.
***** rogues.
"Your mates are gonna be so pissed. We are so never going anywhere without them again, are we?" Olivia groaned when I nodded. I was ok with that.
