"Well, I should be on my way now. I hope to see you again!" Holy Lord turned around anddisappeared swiftly after finishing his words.

Meanwhile, just after Holy Lord left, Rocky looked around the twelve statues that surrounded him.At that moment, he felt a strange faint aura hidden deep inside the twelve statues.

"Do you feel that? These statues were sealed with some of the sacred things that were originallypossessed by the twelve deities. To be exact, these were the forbidden items that I was telling youabout. Moreover, it is believed that these items are more powerful than those that are stored in theHeavenly God Temple,” the Dragon-shaped Soul Beast explained briefly.

"So, does that mean that those leaders of the spiritual race clans took away several forbidden items,including the Evil-fight Divine Bead? But how did they know that there were forbidden items sealedhere in the first place? Something is not adding up if you'd ask me." Rocky couldn't help but suspectthat something was wrong about what had happened.

However, it was also impossible for the Dragon-shaped Soul Beast to know the truth regarding thematter.

"From this moment forth, you will stay secluded in the Divine Land and cultivate in peace, awayfrom distractions. Needless to say, I will also give you all the advice and support I can give, so thatyou can have all the guidance you need to improve your strength at the King Realm as soon aspossible,” the Dragon-shaped Soul Beast instructed Rocky.

Upon hearing the beast's orders, Rocky gave a slight nod.

Earlier, Rocky had released the power of the Divine Spiritual Source in his battle with the HeavenlyDemon Clan, it caused severe damage to the clan. Later, Alston merged the Ghost Master Clan andthe Giants Clan and reestablished a new clan with the remaining forces of the Heavenly Demon Clan—the Glory Clan. Moreover, he made himself the Spiritual King and made the Palace City of theHoly Dragon Empire his base camp. As soon as he assumed office, he renamed the original LoftyDragon Hall as the Spiritual King Hall.

It was quite obvious to the eyes of the people that Alston's power was growing more visible anddominant with each passing day.

Not long after, Alston followed Townsend's example and continued to suppress and unite otherspiritual race clans. A few months later, he was able to subdue almost all of the small and mediumspiritual race clans in the Wild Spirit Land. Of course, some clans were unwilling to admit andsurrender, but because he was immoral and decisive, he had those who did not follow himwholeheartedly killed.

As the remaining two advanced spiritual race clans, the Phoenix Master Clan and the Wood Clan felthelpless as if their power had been taken away from them. They knew that showing regret forsupporting Alston as the patriarch of the Heavenly Demon Clan before wouldn't change the currentsituation. Apart from this, they were also aware that they could not deal with his power. All theycould do now was to watch Alston take control of the spiritual race clans in the Wild Spirit Land littleby little. Now, all they could do was to wait and keep their clans safe.

Whilst Alston carried out his ambition to rule and govern the spiritual race and to cause havoc inthe Wild Spirit Land, the eight calamity beasts suddenly vanished without a trace. Not a single soulknew why and how this happened, but this paved the way for Alston to deal with the PhoenixMaster Clan and the Wood Clan

It was not long after that he aimed to subdue the two clans. He believed that as long as he did this,he would be able to unite the spiritual race clans in the Wild Spirit Land and accomplish his goal.Right after he controlled the entire spiritual race, it was just a matter of time before the humanempires under the rule of the spiritual race would be conquered as well. Once this happened, Alstonwould have had the whole Wild Spirit Land under his thumb.

"Your Majesty, the messenger sent to the Wood Clan has returned,” Dean informed Alston in theSpiritual King Hall.

"So, what did the Wood Clan say?" Alston inquired as he enjoyed being served by several beautifulwomen.

"Unfortunately, it appears that they are still unwilling to submit to our Glory Clan," Dean reported ashe cupped his hands to show humility.

"They have been telling me the same reason thrice now! I suppose that we should give them nochance now. They've had one too many. How dare they refuse my proposal! Then, they should notblame me for being ruthless,” Alston remarked savagely. Then, he ordered, "Send ten spiritualmasters to lead three thousand troops of the spiritual race. I want the Wood Clan to be wiped out!Spare no soul!"

"But, Your Majesty, do you want me to send someone else to persuade the Wood Clan again? It'snot difficult for us to defeat them, but I'm afraid that both sides will suffer great losses once a waroccurs..." Dean advised immediately. After all, the Wood Clan was one of the advanced spiritual raceclans, and its power should not be underestimated. On the other hand, despite the Glory Clan beingfull-fledged and with tens of thousands of spiritual race members, they still could not take anyadvantage if they just fought head-on.

"What else can I do for you, Your Majesty?" Dean asked humbly.

"Haven't you got any news about Lena?" Alston asked sternly.

"No news, still. We still don't know where the three army groups have been hiding since they left theHoly Dragon Empire. But I'm sure that Bryant is protecting the Witch," Dean responded

"Very well, I guess I can give you more time. You know what the consequences will be if you don'treplace her!" Alston shouted ruthlessly.

Dean broke out in a cold sweat upon hearing the leader's harsh words. After hearing everything heneeded, he immediately bowed, turned around, and left.

A few days later, the troop of the Glory Clan entered the Timber Deity Empire and startedslaughtering everything in their way to the territory of the Wood Clan. When they arrived there, theWood Clan had already been ready to fight with all their might. At that moment, the two troopsstood facing each other, and a war between the spiritual race clans was on the verge of breakingout.

During the first month of the war, both parties were in a stalemate. Neither one of them could getthe upper hand in the battle, causing very heavy casualties on both sides.

While this happened, Alston sent another one thousand reinforcements to break the tie. Althoughthe Wood Clan was also supported by Alyssa's one hundred thousand forces from the Timber DeityEmpire, the reinforcements were still a drop in the bucket. The spiritual race army was so powerfulthat the human army could not be evenly matched with it.

After a month, the Wood Clan finally lost the war. Half of its members died on the battlefield, andsome of them were brutally murdered even after they chose to surrender. Some of them managedto narrowly escape and avoided their whole clan's extinction.

Losing the support of the Wood Clan, the Timber Deity Empire was now a lonely boat in the lake. Inorder to protect the empire, Emperor Woods had made a difficult decision—to submit to Alston'sGlory Clan.

However, as soon as Alyssa heard that the empire had submitted, she disappeared out of the blue.On the other hand, the Phoenix Master Clan was now the only big trouble that Alston and his clanwould have to face after the fall of the Wood Clan. But Alston's troops also suffered a lot of damagein the battle with the Wood Clan. With that being said, Alston had planned to keep dealing with thePhoenix Master Clan after defeating the Wood Clan. However, his plan was put into a hold underthe persuasion of Dean.

Moreover, the entire Wild Spirit Land was in great chaos, and the people suffered tremendous lossand trauma just because of Alston's hunger for power.

A few months after the war, the Glory Army had finally recuperated their vital energy. As a result,they launched quick attacks against the Phoenix Master Clan.
