Chapter 1339 Manipulate The Calamity Beast

Despite seeing the gigantic halberd ready to lacerate him, Alston remained calm. Instantly, he raisedthe Dark King Mace in his hand, and a beam of light, similar to that of a vortex, emerged above hishead, sucking the halberd upon collision.

This was not new to Marcia. After all, she knew what the Dark King Mace was capable of. After thehalberd was engulfed by the light, the Dark King Mace launched another beam of light andreplicated the same halberd that was swallowed by the light. In the blink of an eye, the halberdreplica was shot directly at Marcia.

But this didn't scare Marcia at all. Showing no signs of fragility, she rushed towards the hugehalberd at full speed.

Meanwhile, Moira led the Dragon Master Clan members, some elite warriors of the Phoenix MasterClan, and some members of the Butterfly Divine Clan to escape as quickly as possible from thesoldiers chasing after them. Unfortunately, the soldiers were able to catch up to them not long after.On the other hand, Alston and Marcia still fought vigorously. But somehow, it appeared that Marciawas still at a complete disadvantage. She was having a difficult time dealing with his power at thattime, but little did she know that Alston was not yet utilizing his full power and capabilities

"Oh, come on. Let's end this! You are just completely wasting my time!" Alston taunted in a sing-song way while clenching the Dark King Mace tightly in his hand. Then, he stared at Marciamenacingly as his evil aura blazed with satanic power.

"Demon! Descend on to the world!" Whilst he raised the Dark King Mace, a beam of evil light rosefrom it, shooting up into the sky as fast as lightning. Not long after, a deafening crack echoed in thesky as if it was on the verge of collapse.

The evil light suddenly spread out, and a huge phantom appeared out of the blue behind Alston. Itemitted a penetrating aura, similar to an evil king materializing to the world.

Everyone who witnessed this was shocked to their core, for no one had ever expected that thiswould happen.

"Wait. What's this? What's happening?" Sensing that the phantom was over-the-top, Jill and theother high-level spiritual masters broke out in a cold sweat. They started to turn pale upon realizingthat even the high-level spiritual masters were not able to resist the phantom's power.

Not long after, the phantom gathered all of its energy and tried to beat Marcia in midair withunspeakable force. Luckily, Marcia was quick enough to react. But when she was just about tododge the palm, she had already been severely hurt.

The enormous palm soon landed on the ground, and a vast cloud mixed with dust and otherparticles soared into the sky. Soon after, a strong storm seemed to have swept the entire area,causing the whole place to tremble violently. Everyone tried to rescue themselves and took a fewsteps back due to the impact. In fact, the power was so violent that the weak ones from the spiritualrace were killed in a snap.

The phantom's attack was made effortlessly. It was so unexpected that the attack even causedhavoc with its destructive force.

"So, your mace is a forbidden item?" Jill stared at Alston and asked.

"I'll only answer that once the Phoenix Master Clan yields to me." Alston scorned.

"No way! Forget it. Jill shouted furiously. At that time, there was nothing on her face except the lookof extreme determination and focus on bringing Alston down and protecting her clan.

Alston's face darkened as he heard the downright refusal. Not long after, the huge phantom behindhim unleashed more evil power, generating a wicked whirlwind around him. All of a sudden, amyriad of dark phantoms rushed out of the huge phantom and attacked Jill with domineeringpower.

Before Jill could react, she had already been surrounded by the endless dark phantoms. Moreover,this made her lose control over her own body.

"You only have two options today, Jill. Surrender to me, or face death? Take your pick.” Alstonlaughed sinisterly.

"I won't let you get what you want even if I die today," Jill said with great efforts. At that time, shehardly had any strength left in her system to even stand. However, she was brave enough to keepher composure as if there was nothing that Alston could do to change her mind about surrenderingto his rule.

Hearing the refusal again, Alston lost his patience. He narrowed his eyes in annoyance, and blackphantoms around Jill started to draw closer with the intention of tearing her body up into shreds.Just as Jill was about to be torn apart by the black phantoms, a figure surrounded in black flameshot out from the sky, emitting extraordinarily violent and terrifying spiritual power. An earth-rattling sound began to erupt, and the black phantoms around Jill were smashed into smithereens."It's you..." With her eyes wide open, Jill instantly recognized the brave figure who rescued her fromdeath.

Despite being smashed, the black phantoms still lingered all over the place, scattered. Alston's facedarkened again after he saw that someone dared to save Jill from her demise. He looked closer toidentify this brave soul who saved Jill. But after replaceing out who it was, Alston only clenched his fiststightly out of anger.

"Basil..." Marcia couldn't help but scream in surprise. Clearly, she never thought that Rocky wouldshow up.

Under the cloak of courage, it was none other than Rocky, who had been missing for a year, whosaved Jill.

Meanwhile, all the scattered black phantoms gathered again almost instantly, grouped themselvestogether, and crazily dashed forward Rocky.

In order to protect himself, Rocky immediately stretched out his hand, revealing a cauldron on hispalm. The cauldron glistened and absorbed all the terrifying black phantoms.

Without a doubt, this was a sight to behold that even spiritual race members and other humanbeings could not believe their eyes! Certainly, there was no need to compare—the cauldron’s powerdefinitely surpassed Alston's capabilities and power.

Evidently, Rocky had changed. He was no longer the Rocky that he used to be. All his practice andcultivation had been paid off as he reached a higher level.

Alston widened his eyes in surprise. Obviously, it was difficult for him to think that the power of thecauldron could counter whatever his Dark King Mace could offer.

"I see. You got the Demonic Soul Cauldron.” Alston reacted and stared at Rocky with intimidatingeyes.

"Exactly," Rocky replied with an evil smile.

Jill was also shocked. In fact, she had sent two ordinary spiritual beings to take the Demonic SoulCauldron away, but she didn't expect that Rocky was the one who obtained it in the end.

"Look. I didn't want to deal with you this early, but I changed my mind now!" Alston gave him abrutal look. He didn't expect that Rocky would appear so unexpectedly and even have the DemonicSoul Cauldron in his possession.

He waved his Dark King Mace again, and an overwhelming dark cloud enveloped Rocky almostinstantly. Streaks and showers of black thunder began falling from the sky and striking the groundaround Rocky. Undoubtedly, Alston's motive was pure and clear—to render Rocky lifeless at the endof this confrontation.

Rocky saw the incoming dark thunder charging at him. But somehow, he was not making any moveto counter it. As a result, his companions felt nervous for him.

Not long after, beams of lightning erupted and rushed upward just below Rocky, blocking theviolent, dark thunder that was about to destroy Rocky.

Bang!

In mid-air, a surging sound was heard, turning into several beams of light that spread around andcaused random flashes of blinding light.

This scene was so astonishing that it stupefied all the other spiritual race members present again.Alston's face turned grim, but he could sense that the power that blocked his attacks had no traceof being ordinary.

"Tell me, do you have any other helpers, brat?" Alston looked at Rocky with a glum face.

As soon as he finished his words, the dark cloud came together in the sky, along with lightning andthunder, and the wild wind blew the dust into the air. Not long after, a humongous beast emergedout of the ground, emitting an astonishing aura.

"Oh, my! The calamity beast!" Witnessing this, almost all the spiritual race members were at a lossfor words, because what appeared in front of them was actually a calamity beast.

This calamity beast was the Demonic Thunder Tiger that Rocky had sealed temporarily before."How are you able to manipulate the calamity beast?" Alston questioned in disbelief.

Never in anyone's wild imagination had they thought that Rocky would be able to manipulate sucha wild and deadly beast!
