"It is you, Commander!" Rocky let go off the spirit-manipulated beast and stood up to greet Marin."I never thought that you would actually show up in here. Did you mention any innocent woman?Em... Actually, no woman here. But now we have one."

Marin noticed the whole place was deserted. Aside from Rocky and a spirit-manipulated beast, noone else was present, so she understood immediately that he was talking about her. She felt a littleawkward. She was sure that the way she moved and talked would show how self-conscious she hadbecome. Luckily, it was getting dark and there was no light in the beast farm. She could barely evensee Rocky's features with the low illumination of the place. Only his silhouette and a few details ofhis face were visible from Marin's point of view, so she tried to talk pass this awkwardness. "Whatare you doing here in the middle of the night?"

"What am I doing here? I asked you to transfer me to the beast farm. I never asked to be a feeder!Now I am carrying and washing meat for the beasts. I am here working because of you!" Rockyexclaimed furiously. He was a little angry seeing Marin. He stared at her coldly.

"Why are you getting upset? I thought you were interested in raising war beasts. Otherwise, whywould you volunteer to work at the beast farm? That's why I granted you your wish and let you be afeeder here instead of a handyman. Yet, instead of thanking me, you yelled at me. You know you canlearn a lot from Sheridan right? He had been in the military camp for most of his life. Quite an aceat..." Marin suddenly stopped in her track. An important information almost slipped past her lips.She needed to be careful with her words. While she didn't give out much detail, Rocky caught onwith her.

"Ace at what?" Rocky sensed that Marin was trying to hide something. He squinted his eyes andpursued with question. He knew there was something about Sheridan's identity, but he wasn't justsure what. Sheridan was more than just an old man managing the beast farm. He remembered howpowerful he seemed when Sheridan initiated a fight.

"It's nothing. Anyway, you looked for me yesterday to ask about Sue. Later I came looking for youand you were nowhere to be found.” Marin shook her head. She quickly dismissed Rocky's questionand diverted his attention to other matters.

"I am going to head out tomorrow. Figured that I'd drop Sue a visit." Rocky nodded.

"Sue is now at the headquarters of the Crimson Dragon Group," Marin replied.

"The headquarters?" Rocky was a little surprised that Marin somehow managed to relocate her tothe headquarters. He expected she'd be staying somewhere else.

"Yeah, I haven't told you about it. The other day I was planning to replace her a nice home to stay aftermy business at the headquarters. I already had a few places in mind then. However, it turned outthat my sister really liked Sue when they met at the headquarters. She's really likeable, you know. Somy sister decided that she would take the liberty of taking her in to accompany her. She is a strongwilled woman and Sue was not opposed to it. So I agreed. I left her at the headquarters with mysister. She will take good care of her so you don't have to worry. I trust her." Marin looked at Rockyexpectantly as if she was afraid that Rocky might get upset because she did not inform Rocky earlierabout this.

"I see." Rocky was surprisingly clam hearing Marin. Since Sue was not opposed to it, he trusted herjudgment. Plus, the fact that it was Marin's sister who would look after her assured him that Sue wasin good custody. No one would dare pick on her. She was also a smart and lovable woman.Everyone liked her. She would fit right in.

"Chill. 1 know my sister, and she is very nice. Sue would not get into trouble around her,” Marinadded as she was afraid that Rocky was still worried about Sue. She assured him that Sue would besafe in her sister's care. It was strange that all of sudden she cared a lot about Rocky's feeling. "So I have to go to the headquarters if I want to visit her? That's quite troublesome.” Rocky frowned.He always saw Sue as his little sister. He would have preferred an easier access for him to visit. Hewanted to see how she was doing and how she was adjusting given all that had happened.

"Don't worry. It is not that troublesome. This is my authorization. It shall give you the access thatyou need to enter the headquarters. When you arrive at the headquarters, you should go straight toIsis and tell her that you are there to see Sue. She's the one running errands for my sister.” Marinfetched a plate and extended her hand to give it to Rocky.

Rocky took it and put it away. Then, he looked at Marin gratefully. "Thank you. If that's all, I will beon my way." He then turned and was about to leave when Marin's voice stopped him in his tracks."Would you reconsider my proposal of leading the first squad?” Marin suddenly changed thesubject as if she still pitied Rocky for his decision to give up this post. However, despite the quitehassle chores at the beast farm, he did not plan on changing his decision.

"You have many talents in the northeast military camp. You could easily replace a replacement. Itdoesn't have to be me." Rocky answered nonchalantly without turning back. He then continuedwalking and left the beast farm. Marin stared curiously at Rocky's receding figure.

When he returned to his room, Rocky took out the primary Dark Heaven Egg and cultivated with itfor one night. The Dark Heaven Egg was truly extraordinary. Although the primary Dark Heaven Eggwas not as potent as the middle grade one, he could still felt the significant improvement of hisspiritual power.
