Rocky took Isis to the white jade bed. Then he gently laid her down, and untied his clothes to coverher body. After that, he took out the bottle containing magical saliva and said gently, "This will helpcure your injuries.” He opened the bottled and held it directly to her lips.

Then she calmed down a little and closed her eyes. She decided to ignore Rockyand concentrated on the energy circulation to recover.

It was a long time before Isis felt her injuries was fully recovered. Then she slowly opened her eyesonly to replace that Rocky had disappeared. She sighed. It was to be expected. However, when sheturned her head a little, she spotted a figure through the sheer curtains. Rocky was standing on thelong corridor of the cottage with both hands on his back, his posture an image of outstandingelegance. He was looking into the distance with a calm expression.

"Why haven't you left?" Isis called out.

After hearing her voice, Rocky turned around and glanced at her. He said, "You'd better put yourclothes on. Or would you like to talk to me like that?"

Isis was startled, looking down at herself. She quickly remembered what had happened before. Hereyes turned cold as she wrapped his clothes tightly around her body. Then she glanced at Rockyagain and hurried into the inner room. After a while, she emerged dressed in a long lilac dress. Shelooked like a blooming violet, fragrant and appealing.

Rocky had waited a long time.

"You've got the nerve to believe that I would not kill you just because of the small favor you did me.Are you thinking that? But what did you give me? It was so powerful that it cured..." Isis’ voicetrailed off. She didn't know how to approach the situation.

"That's not true. What I really want is to give you a clear and thorough explanation. I certainly didn'tmean to peep at you. And I think you aren't an unreasonable lady.” Rocky knew that it would havebeen so easy to leave. But if he did, Sue would get into a lot of trouble. She had finally settled down;this was the last thing he wanted to do. It was a must for him to sort this out and make an end tothe incident.

"You..." Isis stuttered. She wasn't used to his approach. Unlike the men she met, he wasn't imposingor aggressive. Smart as she was, she now did not know how to act toward this situation which madeher a little distressed.

"Then why were you here at that moment?" Isis questioned

Rocky took out the token and said, “It was General Marin who sent me here.”

"My cousin?" Isis immediately recognized that token which belonged to her cousin, Marin.

"I am Sue's brother. I heard that General Marin arranged for her to come live here, so I came to visither. I didn't know that you're cousins, however. It was truly an accident,” Rocky explained.

"You're telling me you're Sue's brother? She's never mentioned that she has a brother,” Isis said withsome suspicion. But with Marin's token, she chose to believe it to some degree.

"It's a long story. But I want to make it clear to you that I really do not mean to..." Rocky wasinterrupted by a sound. "Mr. Bai, why are you here?"

Rocky turned around. It was Sue. A bitter smile appeared on his face.

"Miss Isis?" Sue stepped forward, bowed down and then explained, "Miss Isis, please forgive me forletting Mr. Bai into your place. I did not expect him to enter the second floor.”

"Mr. Bai? Sue, your family name is Chen, right? He's claiming to be your brother!" Isis questionedwith an eyebrow raised.

"Mr. Bai once saved my life, Miss Isis. If not for him, 1 would have been raped by those bad guysback home,” Sue answered at once. There was a hint of sadness in her eyes

Isis glanced at Rocky. She heard of him from Marin before.

"Wait. Aren't you Rocky Bai? That's you?" At this moment, a surprising thought just jumped out inIsis's head. Then she turned to stare at Rocky.

"How do you know my name?" Rocky was confused by the fact that Isis spoke his name.

"Mr. Bai, as the Deputy Commander in Chief of the Crimson Dragon Group, she surely knows that.”Sue did not know what happened between them, so she just said that out directly.

"Deputy Commander in Chief?" Rocky's face suddenly changed. He did not know that Isis held sucha high position! He finally understood everything. No wonder that back then at the auction, Flankchanged into another person when he saw that she was present. Because the Deputy Commander inChief was there, he had altered his attitude and treated him civilly, not his usual arrogant way.

"Sue, you may leave now. I have something to say to Rocky alone," Isis said to Sue.

"What do you want to say to me, ma'am?" Rocky asked, a sly grin flitting over his lips.

"You shall not mention what happened today to anyone else. Though you have the free pass givenby my father, I would still kill you if you do so. If I hear any rumors about it, I would not go easy onyou," Isis warned him, her fierce eyes flashing.
