Chapter 201 Badly Injured (Part One)

"Your father? The Commander in Chief is your father?! Therefore, you are actually the daughter ofthe Commander in Chief?! And Marin, your cousin, is also the niece of the Commander in Chief?!"Rocky was stunned. He acted so casually around them that he felt like they were just ordinarypeople. It never occurred to him that the two women he knew from the Crimson Dragon Group hadsuch strong backgrounds.

"That's right! Now you finally know that. If my father replaces out what you just did to me, he willimmediately take back the order of sparing your life!" Isis threatened. To prevent Rocky from leakingout such an embarrassing situation and protect her reputation, she had to use every effectivemeans. That should put him in his place. He should be scared of the possible consequences of hisactions if he tried to embarrass her or taint her reputation in some way. Yet, Rocky hardly lookedaffected with her threats.

"I see," Rocky just responded lightly.

"And, in exchange of sparing your life and forgiving you for what you just did, can you tell me whoon earth you are?" Isis asked. As the Deputy Commander in Chief, she was always good atnegotiations. More often, she was able to negotiate her way to a deal that favored her more. Shehad always been very curious about Rocky's identity. There was always the air of mysteriousnessaround him. Thus, if she could use what happened today to replace out Rocky's real identity, that woulda real bonus.

"No," Rocky refused simply and decisively. He didn't even think about it, and he just flatly told herno. He didn't seem concerned with her threats. Her mind was beaming with curiosity andunanswered questions. Why was he protecting his identity so hard? What did he have to hide?"Why? Don't you know that what you just did was a great offense? There is enough reason for meto kill you!" Isis roared angrily. She was good at getting what she wanted to know and manipulatingpeople's minds. Somehow, Rocky was not intimidated by her. She couldn't manipulate him so easily.It irritated her that she couldn't get the answers she was dying to know. Normally, she would haveher answers by now. Other people would have squirmed by her threats and would have immediatelyopened their mouths to tell her all the things they knew. But Rocky wasn't like any of them.

"First of all, I didn't mean to see your body. Who knows that you like to be naked in your room?Secondly, knowing about my real identity would not benefit you at all. Thirdly, the old me wasalready dead and I would never use that identity again. Thus, you don't need to know my formeridentity.” Rocky listed three reasons at once. But despite his insistence, she was still going to doeverything to replace out.

"The less you want me to know, the more I will try to replace out. I will try my best to reveal youridentity!" Isis insisted and gnashed his teeth. Since she couldn't kill Rocky, she would take herrevenge by replaceing out his real identity. There must be something shocking about it which was whyhe kept it in secret on purpose.

Rocky, hearing her rash words due to a fit of pique, couldn't help but shake his head and said with asmile, "Help yourself. If you are fine now, then I'd better leave.” He then turned around andprepared to leave when Isis's voice stopped him.

"Is it you who sold the tail hair of the Leopard Fox to me at a low price?" Isis asked abruptly.

"Is there any problem about that?" Rocky asked and looked back at Isis.

"Why did you sell it to me at a low price? Why did you stand out and defend me?" Isis was intriguedto know what kind of purpose Rocky had in mind. She had so many unanswered questions. She atleast wanted to know why he did that.

"God knows! Maybe I am just too bored,” Rocky said simply. A wicked smile appeared on the cornerof his mouth. Then, he turned his back and continued to walk downstairs without looking backagain. Isis stared at his back until it was no longer visible from her view.

"Bored? Just because you are bored?" Isis murmured to herself. Her expression was indescribable. Itwas the first time someone had challenged her. She looked as if Rocky's words were a huge blow toher pride and ego.

When Rocky reached downstairs, he saw Sue stepping back and forth with an anxious look on herface. When Sue saw Rocky walk downstairs, she immediately went forward and asked in a worriedtone, "Rocky, what did Miss Isis say to you?"

"Nothing." Rocky shook his head.

"You don't have to lie to me. She must have been irritated because I let you enter her residencewithout asking her permission,” Sue said as she continued to be worried. She was anxious aboutwhat might happen to her and to Rocky because of this incident.

"Actually, she's not. You don't have to worry. Her temper is better than I have expected. Anyway, Ishould leave now. I will come back to visit you again as long as I am free," Rocky immediately saidas he found it was getting late. He couldn't stay there for long. It was a shame that he barely spenthis time with Sue because of the incident with Isis but he figured there were other days he couldvisit her again.

"All right. Don't forget to bring Rubygon next time. I miss it so much,” Sue reminded and nodded athim with a reassuring smile.

Rocky smiled, touched Sue's head softly, and then walked away from Isis residence with big steps.After walking out of the base camp, Rocky couldn't help but feel relieved. He was actually worriedthat Isis would change her idea at any time and try to kill him. After all, Isis was the DeputyCommander in Chief of the Crimson Dragon Group. It would be rather easy for her to finish him offwith a random excuse.

"Rocky, Rocky, why do you always have to incur troubles like this? You should never deal with thewomen like Isis!" Rocky mumbled and laughed at himself. He seemed to get in trouble that involvedwomen quite a lot.
