Chapter 292 The Powerful And Mysterious Man

Although Uriah's fight stunned the audience, the skill that this mysterious man now displayed dreweveryone's attention and admiration. His spiritual martial arts had caught everyone present bysurprise.

The spiritual martial arts of the mysterious man obviously surpassed Evan. Many in the audiencewondered about the true identity of the mysterious man. Evan was of the fourth grade of the EarthlyStage. Among the thirty participants, he was considered to be of the intermediate level. He was onlyslightly below the skill level of the deputy commanders. The two deputy commanders of thenortheast military camp had already finished their rounds. Who then was this mysterious man? Wasthere another competitor from the northeast military camp who could easily overwhelm Evan?

No one in the audience had an answer.

Evan was taken completely by surprise by the man's spiritual martial arts attack. He could notbelieve that his strike could not withstand the arrow force from the man. As the nebula arrow camewithin inches from Evan, his spiritual power surged and he threw another Flying Cloud Punchagainst the arrow. But the nebula arrow pierced his punch attack one more time.

Murmurs filled the audience while some exclaimed in shock and amazement. Evan was a spiritmanipulator of the fourth grade of the Earthly Stage and yet he somehow failed to counter anattack from this mysterious man twice in a row.

The audience quickly realized that this mysterious man was much more powerful than Evan.Everyone's eyes were fixed on the mysterious man. His aura was so intense that nobody couldignore his presence. His entrance at the arena was like that of a war god coming down to show hiswrath on the helpless mortal before him.

"How is that even possible!? Evan can't withstand Rocky's spiritual martial arts attack!?" No one wasmore shocked than Marin. The last time she saw Rocky fight against Evan, Rocky was only of thesecond grade of the Earthly Stage and was weaker than Evan. It was only a few months since thatfight. How did Rocky grow that strong so quickly?

"Marin, is Rocky really only of the second grade of the Earthly Stage?" Isis asked. She had never seenRocky fight before and everything she knew about Rocky's skills was from Marin. Rocky's spiritualaura was always weak so it was hard to tell how strong he truly was. When she saw how powerfulRocky's attack was, she was also surprised.

But Marin and Isis were not the only ones who were caught by surprise. Lance watched the fightwith growing interest and surprise. As a master spirit manipulator, Lance could easily tell that thespiritual power in Rocky's attack was far more powerful than that of Evan

Lance gave Marin an inquiring look. From Uriah's appearance to Rocky's attack, the whole matchwas a huge surprise to everyone who witnessed it. But even more important was the fact that theselast few minutes now provided a glimpse to the true power level of Rocky that no one seemed tohave any idea before today. No one present was aware that there was a soldier in the northeastmilitary camp who was this powerful.

When Marin met Lance's glance, all she could do was shrug helplessly. She was as confused andclueless as everyone.

"It's impossible that he has improved several grades in a mere few months. Unless he has beenconcealing his true power level from the start. Is it that he is always higher than the second grade ofthe Earthly Stage?" Isis guessed thoughtfully.

"I don't know. He is a strange guy. That is just how he is. Rocky has never stopped surprising peoplewith what he can do that no one else knows is even possible,” Marin replied with an awkward smile.At the same time, the commanders and officers in the platform and soldiers and spirit manipulatorsof the base camp around the arena, all recognized the mysterious man. He was the breeder whodisplayed an exceptional skill in the Army Flag Contest and even received high praise from theCommander in Chief.

They were almost taken aback when they realized that the mysterious man was Rocky.

The entire training field roared with excitement because of Rocky and Uriah.

A loud explosion filled the arena as a blinding light momentarily blinded everyone watching. Evancould not counter Rocky's spiritual martial arts attack. The nebula arrow landed on the ground withthe force of a meteor and left a gaping hole in front of Evan.

The force of the explosion was so close that it almost hit Evan. He was lucky that he was able tomove away from the blast. Beads of cold sweat filled his brows and rolled down his face and neck.His breath became short and shallow. His heart pumped like it was going to jump right out of hischest.

Evan's beast was overwhelmed by Uriah, and now he could not even match the spiritual martial artsattack from Rocky. Boos and laughs slowly filled the air as the audience saw Evan in thispredicament. Evan had never felt so embarrassed before. He stared at Rocky with hate-filled eyes.

It was common knowledge that Evan came from an influential family. He was a member of the JiClan. His father was an important figure in the clan. This was likely the reason why Evan was alwaysarrogant and cocky. Many people present had harbored a keen hate for Evan because of this. Nowthat Evan was getting humbled in the arena, a lot of the people present were happy at the result ofthe battle.

Based on Evan's estimate, he should have easily beaten Rocky. Rocky should now be completelydefeated and should now be kneeling and begging for mercy. In Evan's mind, the audience's scornbelonged to Rocky and not him. But reality was not on Evan's side right now.

Evan found it impossible to accept what happened. Anger burned in his chest as his face twisted incomplete fury.

"You are dead! Do you hear me?!" Evan yelled angrily at Rocky. He felt so humiliated. He used hisanger to focus all of his spiritual power into his next spiritual martial arts attack that easily defeatedRocky before.

"Ghost Fog!"

Evan yelled the two words in grim determination and confidence. A dense white fog slowlysurrounded Rocky threatening to completely engulf him. Figures of ghosts appeared from the fogas it expanded all around Rocky. They charged at Rocky all at the same time as loud shrieks andscreams filled the air.

"Such a joke!" Rocky said in contempt. He summoned the Nebula Cloud Transformation with themerest gesture. A nebula-like light soon filled the area around Rocky. It expanded quickly andoverwhelmed the surrounding fog. The fog and the ghosts were swept into nothingness in a matterof seconds, the screams faded into nothingness like the memory of a bad dream that meltedagainst the rays of the morning sun.

"That is not possible!" Evan was almost stunned in disbelief as Rocky effortlessly took out his GhostFog.

The audience could scarcely hold back their surprise, admiration and amazement when they sawRocky break Evan's Ghost Fog as if it was a mote of dust against the fury of the wind that was Rocky.They all now wondered how powerful Rocky truly was.
