Chapter 411 Meeting Prefect's Son

After leaving the base camp, Rocky wandered around the vast Evian City with a purposeful stridejust thinking about where he could rebuild his new laboratory. After browsing through many areas,he recalled a street in the brothel district where Sheridan took him the last time he was here and sobegan moving in that direction. Once he reached, he spotted a bunch of people gathering. Thisgroup seemed increasingly curious about something weird unfolding there.

"Hey! How can you..." The sound of a woman's angry voice could be distinctly heard coming fromthe crowd.

"I absolutely love doing this. The question is what can you possibly do to me? I want to see whethershe is actually Miss Laney. After all, you are just a maid. It's none of your business, so stay out of it!"An extremely intimidating and domineering voice responded.

"Laney?" The moment Rocky heard that name, he grew serious and suddenly jolted into action. Hemoved swiftly making his way through the crowd. Amidst the crowd stood three men, with theindistinct breath of spirit manipulators. It also seemed that they possessed power of the third orfourth grade at the Mortal Stage. Apart from them, there also stood a vain sissy who was dressedrather excessively. He was blocking the two women. It was evident this foppish man wasmisbehaving in the street and creating a scene.

While the rest of the people gathered there were all ordinary. They kept pointing at the ill-mannered man yet no one dared to lay a finger on him. It was evident, they were all scared of him.Of the two women, the one dressed in a maid's uniform stood in front of the other woman in aprotective stance. The other woman was modestly dressed and hidden behind an intricate purpleveil. Yet despite the light veil, one could get a glimpse of her radiating beauty, especially herexpressive gleaming eyes. Just one glance was enough to be drawn into the world within her deepeyes.

Carefully yet intensely, Rocky looked at the woman hidden behind the light veil. He was sure thiswas Laney, the most popular courtesan of Geisha House. He had met her once earlier, a meeting hewould not forget.

"Sir, I am most certainly not Laney. I am sorry you have gotten the wrong person!" People couldhear Laney speak out to the sissy. Her feminine and melodious voice was quite mesmerizing.

"Miss Laney, you can stop with the pretense! Even if you conceal your entire face, I will be able torecognize you. With much dedication, I cherish you every night, yet you don't even bother givingme a chance to be alone with you. It was fate that brought us together, which means we aredestined for each other. His corruptmotives were evident from his expressions.

"Sir, this is all but a massive misunderstanding. You are mistaking me for someone else!" Evidently,Laney didn't want to stir any trouble so she repeated the sentence once again with more emphasis.Just as she turned to leave, with her maid, the sissy commanded three strong and forceful men tosurround the two defenseless women.

"Sir, why would you command your men to do so? Nothing that is done forcibly is going to beacceptable let alone be moral..." Laney frowned and looked at the sissy with great disappointment."Well, let's just say I am fond of forced love, then what? What could you possibly do? After all, youare just a spine-less prostitute, aren't you? Don't go around pretending to be a chaste woman. All the people standing around this entire spectacle were stunned and awestruck. They neverconsidered that someone would step forward to be a hero and save the damsel in distress.Nonetheless, they now grew worried for this mysterious person as the sissy was no ordinary manwho would let this incident slide. He was the only son of Evian City's prefect.

The prefect of Evian City was responsible for managing all the affairs within Evian City. Even thoughEvian City was Crimson Dragon Group's base camp, the Crimson Dragon Group's duty was limitedto just defending borders, and they were in no way in charge of management. All the cities of theHoly Dragon Empire were in charge of a prefect who was designated from the Palace City.Meanwhile, it was the prefect who had the right to nominate officers in the city he governed, whichwas the equivalent of mayor in modern society. Therefore, this was quite a senior officer as well."Sir..." Once the three spirit manipulators witnessed the sissy being thrown out, they hurried to helpthe sissy back up on his feet.

"I thank you for your gracious help..." With immense gratitude, Laney whispered at once. When sheleast expected it, there was someone extending help and protection. However, once the figureturned around to reveal himself, she was beyond surprised and blurted out, "Are you Mr. Bai?""Miss Laney, what a pleasant coincidence!" with a warm wide smile Rocky said in a calm tone."What are you doing standing around here? It's time to teach mister uppity a lesson. How dare hehit me and think he can get away with it!" Once lifted from the ground, the sissy gave Rocky afurious and vengeful stare. Then, he gave a signal to the three spirit manipulators standing besidehim and shouted with anger.

"You bastard, you have no idea who you picked a fight with. You are so dead!" Instantly, the threespirit manipulators rushed towards Rocky.

"Miss Laney, please take a step back!" Despite seeing the three spirit manipulators approaching fast,Rocky indifferently turned to Laney and politely requested.

"Mr. Bai, please be careful. They are all spirit manipulators and should not be underestimated!"Laney warned Rocky with an obvious tone of fear. She then grabbed her maid, by the hand, andtook a step back.

In one synchronized movement, the three spirit manipulators surrounded Rocky from each side."Boy, if you seek forgiveness go down on one knee and beg our master for mercy. If not, don'tblame us for treating you ruthlessly. You know we are spirit manipulators and killing you will be nohard task!" The tallest man amongst the three spirit manipulators disdainfully shouted to Rockycommanding an apology. He seemed quite self-righteous.

The three spirit manipulators were blinded by arrogance and they were too weak to recognize thebreath of spirit manipulator coming from Rocky. Besides, they didn't even realize that they hadinvited their own doom by provoking Rocky.

"So, I will count till three and give you a fair chance to disappear now, or else..." Rocky warned thethree spirit manipulators in a calm yet intimidating tone.

"Boy, since you seem so eager to die, I will give you exactly what you are begging for!" The tallestman grew furious and shouted upon hearing Rocky's threat. Blinded by rage, he closed his fingersinto a powerful fist which drew in the little spiritual power he possessed and hit Rocky.

All the people, who were witnessing this fight unfold, were increasingly worried about Rocky. In theeyes of ordinary people, the spirit manipulators were extremely powerful and were so strong thatthey could kill a cow with just one punch. So they assumed Rocky was in grave danger.

But to everyone's surprise, and more so for the spirit manipulators, Rocky casually matched thetallest man’s powerful punch with an even more powerful retaliation.

"Is that all you are capable of doing? Not worth the hype now, was it?" Rocky matched the tallestman's attack with a growing sneer.

Upon watching what happened, the other two spirit manipulators grew increasingly shocked. Theywere stunned that Rocky caught the tallest man's punch so easily.

"You can just fuck off!" Once the other two spirit manipulators were close to Rocky, they heard adistinctively loud and sharp snap. Suddenly, his body pulsated with spiritual power. Almostimmediately, a strong cyclone circled his whole body. The next second the two spirit manipulatorshit the cyclone only to be blown off their feet with a thud onto the ground. With the force of theblow, they spat blood from their mouths and fell into a deep coma
