Suddenly, a figure shuttled through the city guards. It was moving lightning fast, and the onlookerscould make it out only as a blurred shadow.

Owing to his strong spiritual power, all the city guards besieging Rocky fell into a coma in a flash.All of a sudden, Rocky revealed himself from nowhere in front of the sissy and Calvin. He had an evilsmile that frightened everyone.

A stream of spiritual power in the shape of a dark cloud fogged the sight of the sissy and Calvingiving them no try to react.

In the next minute, pleadings for mercy and shrieks of pains diffused over the street. It sounded likeaggrieved children cried for the help of their parents.

As moments passed by, the sissy and Calvin were on their knees with bluish blackface and a gloomyblack eye quite resembling that of a panda. Even though they were unscathed, it would have beenimpossible for either of their parents to recognize them had they been present at the scene.

"You... How dare you beat me? Do you know my dad is the Frontline Commander of the CrimsonDragon Group?" Calvin covered his swollen face with his hand and then pointed at Rocky as hewailed.

"Are you kidding me? I dared to barely beat your dad. What is the big deal in licking his cheekyson?" Rocky responded with a contemptuous fie on Calvin.

"You... You even dared to hit my dad? You liar! You could never be a match for my dad. My dad is apowerful spirit manipulator..." Even though Calvin didn't believe a word what Rocky said, he wasclearly stupefied and trembled at what Rocky had claimed. After all, his dad was a renowned figurein his eyes.

But what Calvin didn't know was that his dad had provoked Rocky out of nothing and he gotknocked down by Rocky a while ago. He got tamed at the sight of Rocky by now!

"You can go back and ask your dad about it if you don't believe me. I'm just afraid that he would beshame to mention it in front of you, his dear son...” Rocky teased Calvin as he slapped the latter onthe face.

"Mr. Bai, I think you'd better leave immediately, their fathers were important figures with anoutstanding background in the Evian City and were not someone to be screwed up with," Laneyreminded Rocky worryingly. Even though she was pacified to see Rocky knocking down the sissyand Calvin, she could not witness Rocky in danger.

"That's alright. I would rather wait to see who would come to their rescues!" Rocky sneered, heseemed determined to stay until the last minute to challenge whomever that would come.

"Son of a bitch, you are a dead meat! If my dad would come to know that I was beaten blackly andblue by you, he will kill you... He will kill you!" The sissy was gritting his teeth in irrational tantrums.He had always been up on his high horse bullying others by abusing his dad's power. He neverimagined someone to have the nerve to insult him like this. Though infuriated, he was helpless todo anything against Rocky but to count on his father for his revenge. He conjured up an image ofRocky kneeling in front of him and pleading mercy after his father subdued Rocky.

"Kill me? Hah-hah..." Rocky was laughing this wildly made both the sissy and Calvin horrified.

"Mr. Bai, the prefect of the Evian City is a narrow-minded snob. If he comes to know about youknocking down his son, he will never let you go in one piece. I can't even imagine what he would doto you. It would be better you leave it here. I will take care of it from here. I am acquainted withsome of the Commanders in the base camp. The prefect would certainly show some respect tothat." Hearing the threat from the sissy, an agonized Laney urged Rocky to leave.

"I am the one who committed the wrongs. I will certainly shoulder the consequences. I can never letMiss Laney into trouble for my misdeeds! Besides, the buck stops here. I am neither a naive boyknowing nothing nor a bully who takes advantage of the power and position of my father,” giving awicked stare at the sissy and Calvin, Rocky replied to Laney. It was certain his intentions were toreprimand the two guys who were kneeling in front of him.

At the meantime, the scene was capturing more attention from the onlookers. The crowd were all inawe for Rocky who knocked down the two bullies mercilessly. The citizens of Evian City wereconstantly bullied by the duo for a long time. But those ordinary people could only swallow theiranger and resentment in front of the mighty prefect. Not long after, the clip-clop of hooves was getting clearer, capturing the attention of onlookers.They turned around in curiosity in search of the source of the sound. They could behold severalhorses galloping in from the other end of the street. On top of that, there were a squad of guardsrushing in fiercely in full momentum

"The prefect is over here!" shouted someone from the audience.

In an instant, the onlookers retreated as their faces turned pale out of fear. They moved far awayfrom the scene.

Presently, only a handful of figures remained at the block. Namely, Rocky, Laney along with hermaid who were standing behind Rocky and the duo the sissy and Calvin who were on their knees.The leading horseman arrived at the scene. On the sight of the sissy and Calvin kneeling on theground, his face turned pale. He descended from the horse back and rushed forward with anger.Rocky sized up the guy light-heartedly. The guy was cladded in a red robe with embroideries ofgold yarns. With the sword girded on his waist, Rocky could recognize the guy was a spiritmanipulator of the sixth to the seventh grade of the Earthly Stage. Although handsome, the tinyeyes and a pair of moustaches manifested him as a bad guy.

with no difficulty, he could conclude the guy to be the prefect of the Evian City.

"Daddy! Here you are finally...” crying his heart out like a baby, the sissy climbed instantly to hisfather.

"Honorable prefect, you need to serve justice for us!" Pleading with a mourning face, Calvin too roseup.

"Who did all these to you?" The prefect of the Evian City thundered as he saw the bleeding noseand swollen face of the sissy and Calvin. He was enraged that his dear son had to undergo such aninfliction.

"It is him! That son of a bitch!" The sissy pointed out at Rocky hoping that his dream of Rockypleading for mercy on his knees would eventually come true.

"Honorable prefect, that conceited guy despised the law and order only because he was ratherskillful in the fight. This man demonstrated no respect to you, your honorable prefect and he is acriminal beyond forgiveness!" Calvin seized his chance to inflame the situation.

"You humble creature! How dare you hurt my son and the son of Commander Zhao! You are deadmeat! Do you know who I am?" The prefect of the Evian City glared at Rocky while asking.

"How could I possibly identify you? Tell me your name, please,” Rocky responded in a composedmanner.

"You are definitely an ignorant man who can't tell chalk from cheese! Alright, I will tell you who I amI am the prefect of Evian City, the governor of the city! You rioted in my city and tortured my son! Iwill make you pay for your offense!” The prefect of the Evian City squared up in an authoritativemanner.

"Oh, you are the prefect of Evian City. You have arrived at the right time. I was punishing yourcheeky son for you. You need to teach your son some discipline before you release him to harm thecitizens again. Otherwise, I will do the same to him for you if I ever see him harassing the citizensagain.” Rocky continued to challenge the prefect of the Evian City even though he looked as if thebackground of that person surprised him.

The crowd laughed out loud after hearing Rocky's response. Even Laney, who stood behind him,could not refrain from chuckling as she covered her mouth with her hand.

Who else had the nerve to tease the prefect of the Evian City as Rocky did!
