The sound of shouting, killing and fighting was all that could be heard from a distance. Asthe battle grew more intense, such sound became more despairing and deafening.

Only two men didn't join the battle, Rocky and the middle-aged man.

"My name is Liam Lie, Mr. Bai. I would like to offer you a piece of advice: If you want your troops tolive, you'd better surrender now. My master appreciates your talent, so I wouldn't want to hurt you ifpossible!" the middle-aged man said in an arrogant tone with his hands crossed. Rocky knew thatthere was a hidden meaning in his words—he didn't want to be accused of tormenting thoseweaker than him.

He did have the capabilities to boast and to be arrogant as even Rocky couldn't gauge how stronghe was—his strength was at least above the third grade of the Heavenly Stage.

He knew that this would be a difficult fight because he was only at the preliminary level of theHeavenly Stage. His only advantage was the spiritual power inside his body, as it could match withthose of the common spirit manipulators at the second grade of the Heavenly Stage. However,facing Liam whose strength was above the third grade of the Heavenly Stage, he realized that hedidn't have any advantage at all.

Despite that, he was not intimidated at all, because his real opponents were far more powerful andstronger than Liam. If he would be afraid right now, he wouldn't be able to gain the courage heneeded to face his real opponents.

Hence, Rocky decided to take out his Frozen Wind Dagger. As he wielded it, it turned into a black-red Flaming Blade. He thought that the gap between their strengths could be reduced with thisweapon.

Rocky continued staring sharply at Liam as he gripped his weapon. His eyes were full ofdetermination and fierce fighting spirit.

Uriah and Rubygon felt the fighting spirit of their master, so they immediately returned to his side.They made bared their teeth and prepared themselves for any upcoming strikes.

When Liam saw the two spirit-manipulated beasts surrounding Rocky, his eyes glinted with a bit ofsurprise. For a moment, he did not understand why Rocky could own two spirit-manipulated beastsat the same time. However, that surprised look shortly vanished. It looked like the strength of Rockywas not much of a big deal compared to his. Liam stretched out his hand to gather his spiritualpower, and opened his own Magic Spiritual Space. A Timber spirit-manipulated beast at the thirdgrade of the four-star level rushed out immediately. Its appearance was slightly shorter thanRubygon and its body was tightly wrapped by countless wriggling green vines, revealing only a pairof dark cold eyes. Rocky thought it resembled a mummy.

"So, he is a Timber spirit manipulator,” Rocky concluded. He easily recognized Liam's identity as aTimber spirit manipulator just by the summoning of his spirit-manipulated beast. He concluded thathis enemy might be more difficult to deal with than he had previously thought.

Uriah and Rubygon showed a strong fighting intent to challenge the Timber spirit-manipulatedbeast that appeared in front of them. They let out roars, which was a declaration of war.

"Go!" Rocky simply ordered when he saw his two beasts were ready to fight. Although the opponentof his two spirit-manipulated beasts was already at the third grade of the four-star level, he believesthat Uriah and Rubygon would have a chance to win if they attacked together.

Uriah and Rubygon immediately rushed toward their opponent together as they heard theirmaster's order. The vines that wrapped around the Timber spirit-manipulated beast suddenly spreadlike thousands of snakes that rushed out of their cave. They soon formed a network that dashedtowards the two beasts rushing towards them.

Both of them didn’t show any sign of weakness. Uriah created a fierce flame that surrounded itsbody, while Rubygon was full of intense momentum, with its sharp claws flashing boldly."Commander Bai, I will no longer be lenient or restrain myself against you!" Liam reminded Rockycoldly. The spiritual power around the former's body produced a cracking sound as his whole bodyburst into rollers of thunder.

"So, the nature of his spiritual power is Thunder," Rocky concluded as he narrowed his eyes toinspect. The spiritual power of Thunder nature had very strong destructive power just like hisspiritual power of Fire nature. But in terms of attacking speed, Liam's was definitely faster.

In the blink of an eye, Liam's shape had turned into a stream of thunder light and rushed Rocky atlightning speed.

Without the slightest fear, Rocky flourished the Flaming Blade with one hand and thumped on theground with his feet hard. Then, he leaped and charged towards his enemy.

"Rolling Thunder!" Liam bellowed. He launched an attack from his arsenal of spiritual martial arts.Within a second, Rocky saw the spiritual power with the Thunder nature emerged from his enemy'spunch. It turned into the shape of a torrent of thunder and lightning, and its speed was uncanny.Before Rocky could see it, it was already rushing towards him.

Rocky's face turned grim. He immediately flourished his weapon to counterattack as the Evil Flameon the dagger turned into a Moon Blade with a loud whistling sound.

The spiritual power of different natures slammed into each other with a bang. It created a gust ofwind that spread around them and stirred up waves of dust.

"Not bad! You blocked my first attack quite easily. Yet, I just activated my power at the second gradeof the Heavenly Stage. My next attack will be more powerful,” Liam said as his eyes flashed a hint ofacknowledgement. Rocky, whose strength was at the first grade of the Heavenly Stage, couldactually block his attack. This made him interested in Rocky's talent.

For Rocky, that acknowledgement from his enemy was not good news. He felt that he shouldn'tunderestimate the power of his enemy's attacks! He knew that his strength was far more powerfulthan that of the second grade of the Heavenly Stage.

"Rushing Thunder!" Liam launched another punch as his eyes became sharper. Instantly, a wave ofspiritual power with the Thunder nature dashed towards Rocky. It was much faster this time, like alightning bolt that abruptly flashed

Before Rocky had enough time to react, the spiritual power got close to him like a fierce beast whowas ready to gnaw at him.

Without showing any sign of fear or panic, he immediately put the Flaming Blade of Frozen WindDagger in front of him and summoned the extreme Evil Flame power in it.

A loud sound of explosion was heard all throughout the battlefield again.

The two kinds of power crashed into each other again. In an instant, the thunder power shonebrightly, while the Evil Flame was dispersed.

Rocky felt his arms trembled and numbed. He also lost his stability and was forced to take a fewsteps backwards. The pain of his whole body told him that Liam already used the power at the thirdgrade of the Heavenly Stage.

Before Rocky had enough time to take a breath, Liam rushed up to him like a fast-moving shadow,while his whole body exuded a very strong aura at the fourth grade of the Heavenly Stage.Immediately, a sharp killing intent shrouded Rocky again.

He was surprised by the power Liam had just released. He didn't expect that his strength hadreached the fourth grade. The gap between their strengths was quite obvious now!
