"Thunder Dragon Strike!" Without warning, Liam leaped high into the air before rushing downwardswith widespread arms made stronger by the spiritual power. The sky was lit up by two dragon-shaped lightning bolts which were then followed by the violent crackle and boom of athunderstorm.

Liam wanted to end the war with this strike.

"Burn Heaven and Earth...” With the power imbued by the Heavenly Stage, Liam's fierce spiritualmartial arts now blocked Rocky in every single direction. The oncoming strike would be impossibleto escape. Then Rocky calmed down and lifted his arms. Calling Evil Flame, Rocky attacked Liam withfull strength.

Although he was hit by Rocky's flames, Liam's thunderbolts remained intact and even managed topierce through the Evil Flame instantly.

With no other place to retreat to, Rocky gathered his spiritual power to wield his Frozen WindDagger to fend off Liam's attack.

The dragon-shaped lightning bolt met the Frozen Wind Dagger with a deafening crash, illuminatingthe whole area with a blinding light.

The impact resulted in a huge shock wave that caused the ground under Rocky's feet to collapse."Ptooey!" Rocky spat out a mouthful of blood as he felt his hands shake from the attack. Even withthe power of the Holy Dragon Bead, he wasn't able to fill the strength gap between him and Liam.It was a miracle he could still manage to stand on his own two feet. An ordinary, first-grade spiritmanipulator of the Heavenly Stage would've easily succumbed to the attacks of a fourth-grade spiritmanipulator of the Heavenly Stage.

Rocky wouldn't back down. Clenching his teeth, he started his counterattack by waving his FrozenWind Dagger. A single but powerful Evil Flame burst out and transformed into a Moon Blade thatforcefully pushed Liam back.

"How could a spirit manipulator of Rocky's level be able to push me away with such power?’ Liamthought to himself in awe. Rocky should've at least been gravely injured with his attack. Instead, heonly suffered minor injuries. To his further astonishment, Liam realized that Rocky was still standingupright and even managed to strike back again. That was far beyond Liam's imagination.

For Rocky, that attack took quite a lot of effort. Liam's power was hard to rival which forced him touse the power of the Holy Dragon Bead. However, using the power had a catch—the more it wasused, the more suffering it would cause the user to endure. Because the distance between them wasso vast, using the power meant bringing destruction to himself.

Therefore, he had no other choice but to utilize the Holy Dragon Bead's power. But the result wasnot good.

Knowing Liam was powerful, Rocky decided not to execute the same strategy he usually used on hisopponents—by consuming their powers while simultaneously restoring his own through magicalsaliva, waiting for the chance to kill the opponent in a single attack. But now he couldn't catch sucha chance to do that. He could no longer bear three more attacks—which were the equivalent of theassault he had just endured.

Although he could take a chance on his Mysterious Beast Transformation Skill, he was still at levelone and quite inexperienced with it. So, this skill wouldn't work for him this time.

Considering all of these, he decided that the only way to close the gap between them was toactivate the spirit possession with Uriah.

If he used the skill with Uriah, Rubygon must face Liam's Timber spirit-manipulated beast, a third-grade beast of four star level on its own, which Rubygon couldn't face against for too long.

With all things considered, Rocky was at a complete disadvantage now.

But he knew that he had to stand strong against this powerful opponent of his. If he failed, theCrimson Dragon Army would suffer a tremendous loss.

"Uriah!" Rocky immediately shouted after hesitating for a moment.

Hearing his cry, Uriah (who was busy attacking the Timber spirit-manipulated beast alongsideRubygon) turned around and transformed into a brilliant flame rushing towards Rocky.

Rocky was wrapped in the spiritual power that burned just as fiercely as a flame.

"Spirit Possession?" Witnessing Rocky's immense skill of Spirit Possession, Liam's eyes flew wideopen in awe.

It was widely known that being able to successfully activate the Spirit Possession with the spirit-manipulated beast was both a goal and a challenge. It required such an extreme level of talent andaptitude that even when one was considered a primordial spirit manipulator, it couldn't be easilyachieved without the excellent talent.

Which was why Liam was amazed by Rocky. But that wouldn't slow down his attack. Set on stoppingthe Spirit Possession from happening, Liam morphed into thunder and rushed towards Rocky. Withthe Spirit Possession's immense power, Rocky would be a hard nut to crack.

It was already too late for Liam. As he drew nearer, Rocky had finished the Spirit Possession and wasnow covered in red scales and fire. The Frozen Wind Dagger he wielded grew longer, thicker, andmore powerful.

With the success of the Spirit Possession, Rocky reached the third grade of the Heavenly Stage. Newand more powerful spiritual powers were cast on him.

Showing no fear, Rocky faced Liam with the Frozen Wind Dagger and Evil Flames. He used them toblock all of the attacks that Liam was sending to him.

Liam used his immense skills to take on Rocky's advances. Suddenly, a lightning bolt piercedthrough the Evil Flame.

Soon, the entire area was engulfed in a series of deafening noises, dazzling lights, and powerfulwinds.

Nearby, the soldiers stood in astonishment as they witnessed the epic battle between Rocky andLiam.

The soldiers’ attacks began to wane, their focus was now completely on the ongoing combatbetween their respective masters. It was an event nobody wanted to miss

They were both on the ground now, intertwined. Each powerful blow made by either of themcaused damage so great that everything within a 100-meter radius of them was killed and turnedinto ashes.
